Surat: Students from Surat delivered an impressive performance in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) May 2025 examinations, with five candidates from the city securing ranks within the Top 50 across different levels.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared the results of the CA Final, Intermediate and Foundation exams on Sunday.
In the CA Final results, Jinesh Kiranchand Sipani emerged as the top performer from Surat, securing an All India Rank (AIR) 12. A total of 689 students from Surat appeared for both groups of the CA Final examination, with 173 students clearing both groups, 55 clearing Group I, and 68 clearing Group II, according to CA Ashwin Bhauwala, chairman of the ICAI Surat Branch.
In the CA Intermediate results, Tanmay Jain from Surat stood out with an AIR 4, one of the highest in the country. Two other students from the city also secured ranks in the Top 50. Out of 891 students who appeared for both groups of the Intermediate exam, 160 students passed both groups, 64 cleared Group I, and 33 cleared Group II. Additionally, among those who appeared for individual groups, 111 out of 852 cleared Group I and 202 out of 628 cleared Group II.
The CA Foundation exam saw 1,921 students from Surat appear, with 345 passing the exam. The highest scorers in the Foundation level from the city were Henil Jain, Gaurang Goyal, Shaswat Gupta, Vinay Gangwal and Akshat Agrawal.
