New Delhi:
Ananya Panday's cousin, Ahaan Panday, is set to make his big Bollywood debut with the romantic drama Saiyaara. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film features Aneet Padda as the female lead. The makers have now unveiled Saiyaara 's much-awaited teaser on Instagram.
The teaser is replete with intense moments, reminding viewers of Mohit Suri's classic Aashiqui 2. Ahaan Panday appears to play the role of a rockstar. One scene, where he pulls Aneet Padda's hand and gazes into her eyes in a bid to not let her go.
What
Mohit Suri's Saiyaara marks the debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in a passionate tale of heartbreak and dark romance.
The video opens with a brooding Ahaan Panday riding a motorcycle. He grabs attention with his rugged charm and sculpted physique. In the background, Aneet Padda's voiceover explains the meaning of the word "Saiyaara".
She says, ' Mujhe tassali dete jo, woh shabd udhara dhundh raha hai 1 sitara dhundh raha hai, dil saiyaara dhund raha hai. Saiyaara matlab taaro mei ek tanha taara, kuch jalke jo roshni karde jaag yeh sara. Woh awaara dhund raha hai, dil saiyaara dhundh raha hai. (The heart is looking for those comforting words, borrowed from somewhere. It is looking for a star. The lonely heart is searching. Saiyaara means a lonely star among all the stars. That star burns and lights up the whole world. The heart is searching like a wanderer. The lonely heart is searching.)'
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's whirlwind romance and wild escapades are the highlight of the teaser. But what begins as a quintessential love story soon turns darker – a signature Mohit Suri twist.
The caption read, 'An intense love story that will break your heart and heal it too.'

'Jail or blacklisted': Ethan Klein wants Twitch CEO Dan Clancy to get jailed over HasanAbi toy gun incident

(Image via @huffnmorepuff & @hasanthehun/X) Tensions are boiling over in the streaming world as H3H3's Ethan Klein called out Twitch CEO Dan Clancy with a scathing statement: 'I hope Dan Clancy ends up in jail.' This explosive remark came after a fiery controversy involving political streamer HasanAbi, sparking a debate over Twitch's selective rule enforcement and alleged hypocrisy among creators. The Trigger: HasanAbi's Toy Gun Outburst On July 3, 2025, HasanAbi went viral after a clip surfaced showing him reacting aggressively to a viewer's alleged threats. During a live stream, he identified a YouTuber believed to be behind the hate messages and pointed what appeared to be a toy gun at the screen, ranting: 'Let's hang Hasan and Mamdani for treason, he says... What are you going to do? Try to f**king put malware in my phone? Is that what you're going to do? You skinny b**ch! Ugly a**!" The video ignited backlash, with some accusing HasanAbi of inciting harassment and even potential doxing — a serious violation of Twitch's terms of service. Ethan Klein Fires Back The next day, Ethan Klein, known for his bold opinions on the H3 Podcast , took to Instagram with a brutal critique. Klein claimed that Hasan had not only doxed the wrong person but had also done so while wielding a realistic-looking toy weapon — something Ethan himself had been previously crucified for. (Ethan Klein called out Twitch over HasanAbi toy gun incident on Instagram (Image via @h3Hhproductions/Instagram) His story was unapologetically direct: 'You spent the last year calling me a doxxer for doing the same exact thing... I'm not offended… I just find the brazen hypocrisy funny.' But the sharpest barb was reserved for Dan Clancy. Ethan accused the Twitch CEO of enabling favoritism and failing to enforce platform rules consistently, saying: 'It's approaching criminal negligence... I hope Dan Clancy ends up in jail or blacklisted from ever working in tech again.' Twitch's Silence Raises Eyebrows The controversy gained even more traction when Daniel Saltman, CEO of REDACT and fellow streamer, stepped in. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo He revealed that he had reported HasanAbi's channel through every official Twitch channel, with no response. Saltman tagged Clancy directly on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Twitch of ignoring reports and dodging accountability: 'This has now been reported on every available system. Good luck finding a reason to ignore them.' Fallout & What's Next At its core, this controversy underscores two major issues: platform favoritism and inconsistent enforcement. Twitch has yet to issue an official statement, and as criticism mounts, pressure on Dan Clancy continues to grow. Will Twitch respond? Will there be consequences for HasanAbi? And will Clancy survive this latest firestorm? One thing's for sure: this isn't over. For real-time updates, scores, and highlights, follow our live coverage of the India vs England Test match here. Filmistan Studios sold for Rs 183 crore, AICWA urges Devendra Fadnavis to stop redevelopment into luxury towers: 'Save the livelihoods of lakhs of workers'

Filmistan Studios, one of Mumbai's oldest and most iconic film studios, has been officially sold to Arkade Developers for Rs 183 crore. The transaction was registered on July 3, marking the end of an era for a studio that helped shape the golden age of Hindi cinema. Once a thriving base for actors, technicians, and production houses, the Goregaon West property is now set to be redeveloped into ultra-luxury residential towers. Founded in 1943 by Sasadhar Mukherjee, grandfather to Kajol and Rani Mukerji , along with actor Ashok Kumar, Gyan Mukherjee, and Rai Bahadur Chunilal, Filmistan Studios emerged from a split with Bombay Talkies and quickly became a cornerstone of Hindi filmmaking. Back in the day, studios like Filmistan weren't just shooting spaces, they were full-fledged production houses employing actors and crew on monthly salaries. AICWA urges Devendra Fadnavis to intervene In the wake of the acquisition, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written an open letter to Maharashtra's CM Devendra Fadnavis, urging him to halt the demolition and protect what they call a 'symbol of cinematic legacy.' The association has called for a Government Resolution (G.R.) to preserve the studio as a public cultural asset. 'Filmistan Studio... by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Dommershausen: Gutes Hören sucht 700 Testhörer für Hörgeräte ohne Zuzahlung Gutes Hören Undo has been a workplace for lakhs of technicians, artists, junior artists, and workers… It is not just a physical structure; it is a symbol of cinematic legacy and the sweat and hard work of the working class behind the camera,' the AICWA letter read. Dharmesh Yelande Spotted At Filmistan Studio The association further warned that the loss of Filmistan, and other heritage studios at risk, would severely impact employment opportunities for daily wage workers, technicians, and artists who form the backbone of the entertainment industry. 'This is not just a fight to save land—it is a fight to protect dignity, heritage, and the livelihood of the backbone of our industry. Filmistan Studio was built with the blood, sweat, and dedication of workers... Unfortunately, the current owners have chosen profit over people.' Filmistan Studios to be turned into luxury towers Following the acquisition, Arkade Developers announced plans to redevelop the four-acre SV Road plot into a high-end residential project. The project will reportedly feature 3, 4, and 5 BHK residences and exclusive penthouses across two 50-storey towers. With a projected gross development value of Rs 3,000 crore, the project is slated for a tentative launch in 2026. Known for its sound stages, outdoor sets, and central location, Filmistan was once a go-to destination for Bollywood films, television shows, and ad shoots. However, with newer, tech-equipped studios sprouting across the city, Filmistan gradually fell out of favour.
