SPRINGWATCH viewers have slammed the show and demanded bosses warn them before grisly scenes.
Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan updated fans on a short-eared owl's next - which was first shown last week.

However, the BBC show faced viewer backlash following scenes of one animal's demise.
Chris explained: "There were six youngsters in the nest" and added: "Last night there were only two left in the nest."
The other four had spread out in a bid to avoid capture by predators.
Meanwhile, Michaela admitted the team was "really surprised" upon telling viewers how one chick ate its sibling.
This occurred after "nights of hunger" and the younger chick became "weak and defenceless".
Viewers were horrified by the disturbing scenes and soon shared their reactions on social media.
One wrote: "Baby owl eating its sibling alive ffs. Give us a 5-minute warning next time."
Another penned: "Ffs that was hideous...it didn't die and get eaten, it was pulled apart alive poor thing."
A third chimed in: "Oh no, the owl chick eating its sibling whilst still alive. Horrible."
While a fourth commented: "Oh my days....that was grim, poor baby."

Earlier this year, Michaela, 59, opened up about an off-screen row with Chris, 64.
Admitting they are sometimes opposites in their presenting styles, Michaela said in an interview with The Times: 'He has all the facts, whereas I love the stories surrounding a particular nest.
"Last year I had to really fight my corner — a buzzard pecked its sibling to death and chucked it out of the nest onto the ground.
"Chris and the team wanted to put a camera on all the beasts that were eating it.

Michaela added: "You've got to keep it a little bit positive.'

Did Sir Sadiq Khan recommend that the Prime Minister reprise the 20ft Trump 'baby blimp' that he authorised to be flown above Parliament during the presidential visit of 2018? I rest my case. But does he? When it comes to immigration, the opposite would appear to be the case. Although 55 per cent of Labour voters want the numbers to stay the same or go up, polls show that most of the population wishes them very much reduced, with 32 per cent viewing immigration as a 'bad' or 'very bad' thing. Small boats get people's backs up even more. For all his braggadocio and swagger, the sorry truth is that on this issue, Donald Trump speaks for a greater number of Britons than our own prime minister. For this reason, Sir Keir would be best advised to tell his backbenchers to pipe down. Trump's big stick has caused the PM enough pain already. Tweaking the orange tail might play well to certain parts of the gallery but after a year of economic mismanagement, we are hardly able to withstand the tariffs with which Trump would surely retaliate. Alex Jones has revealed she was completely unaware about complaints made against her The One Show co-host Jermaine Jenas. Jenas, 42, was taken off the show after being fired by the BBC for sending inappropriate messages to female employees during his time at the corporation. The BBC is launching a thrilling new gameshow - here's everything you need to know. Rob Brydon is set to host a thrilling new gameshow on the BBC, where 13 strangers will compete for a £100,000 prize. The 60-year-old Gavin and Stacey actor will direct Destination X, a show that takes contestants on a mysterious European road trip. Drawing comparisons to The Traitors and Race Across The World, the participants are whisked around Europe without any knowledge of their location or destination, as they try to decipher truth from lies amidst the clues they're given. Each day involves travelling on a bus with sensory deprivation and no contact with the outside world. They must then attempt to figure out their location based on a series of peculiar clues. Only the most astute will be able to separate the red herrings from the genuine hints. As the game progresses, players are gradually eliminated based on how far off their location guesses are, until only the winner remains, bagging a £100,000 prize, reports Wales Online. "It's the adventure of a lifetime, with one simple question at its heart: where in the world am I? Rob Brydon masterminds the high-stakes competition where nothing is as it seems...," teases the synopsis. When does Destination X start? The first episode of Destination X will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Wednesday, July 30, at 9pm. There will be two episodes a week, running for five weeks until the winner is crowned.
