Priyanka Chopra Jonas reveals daughter's adorably 'funny' mispronunciation of famous dad's name
Priyanka Chopra Jonas' daughter has a "funny" way of pronouncing her famous dad's surname.
The Heads of State actress - who has three-year-old daughter Malti Marie with Nick Jonas - has revealed her toddler's struggles with trying to say her father's last name properly.
Speaking to Extra, she laughed: "I think she's trying to say 'Jonas,' but it just comes out as 'donut,' and now she knows that we think it's funny so she says it over and over again.'
Priyanka and the Jonas Brothers singer have both been kept busy lately, as she's been promoting new movie Heads of State while he's been performing on Broadway in The Last Five Years.
The couple have been working hard to balance their work life and family, while fully supporting each other in their endeavours.
Priyanka added: "It's the best.
"There's a sense of safety and I would wish that upon everyone to be able to find someone where you feel like there is unconditional support in all your choices. I mean, that's the dream. I'm really grateful for it.'
The 42-year-old actress described Malti Marie as "such a girly girl" and a huge fan of princesses, in particular the titular character from the 2016 movie Moana and its 2024 sequel, and she even introduces herself with an extra moniker in tribute to her idol.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Priyanka said: "She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she's Moana.
"She insists it's her name, like officially her name in school. She says, 'I'm Malti Marie Moana.' "
And her daughter loves to play dress up in Priyanka's closet.
She said: "She loves coming into my closet, wearing my shoes, seeing my dresses.
"She was with us when we were getting dressed for the Met Gala, and she put on my gloves and my hat and she said, 'Mama and Gaga are going to a ball, just like Cinderella.' "

Comedy is a necessity, says Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston thinks "comedy is a necessity" in life. The 56-year-old actress has cited the Horrible Bosses film franchise as the project that she would most like to revisit in her career. The Hollywood star - who plays Dr. Julia Harris in the Horrible Bosses movies - told People: "Horrible Bosses. Jason Bateman and I were talking about that, and Charlie Day has been talking about it a lot too. So that's something that we think would be super fun. "The characters are hilarious, and we need comedy. I personally think comedy is a necessity. "That's one that we would have a really fun time, I think, going back to, seeing where those crazy cats are today." Jennifer has enjoyed huge success in her career, including starring in Friends, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. But the actress has one career goal that she still hopes to achieve. Jennifer - who is best known for playing Rachel Green in Friends - shared: "I definitely want to do a Broadway play. That's on my bucket list, but it's finding the time and finding the right piece, the right material. "But I absolutely have to do a play on Broadway." Jennifer is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, but she previously confessed to being terrible at auditions. The actress admitted that she struggles to find immediate chemistry with a stranger. Appearing on The Hollywood Reporter's Drama Actress Roundtable - which also featured Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Sofia Vegara, Brie Larson, Naomi Watts and Anna Sawai - Jennifer said: "When you're in an audition room, you're already at a disadvantage. Maybe you'd have chemistry with this person if you were in a different environment, and not, like, 'Create chemistry. Ready? Go!' "And I'm a terrible auditioner, always was. I waitressed forever before I could finally get something, which was a Bob's Big Boy commercial." Jennifer also insisted that she would never get intimate with an actor during a chemistry test. The movie star said: "I haven't been told you're going to have to lay down and [get intimate with an actor for a chemistry test], and if asked, I would never."

Charlize Theron 'wrote a beautiful e-letter' to co-star Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman received a "beautiful e-letter" from Charlize Theron before joining the Old Guard 2 cast. The 55-year-old actress stars alongside Charlize, 49, in the new superhero film, and Uma has revealed how she came to join the project. Speaking to Extra, Uma shared: "[Charlize] sent me a beautiful e-letter and I read the script, and the first Old Guard was awesome." Uma was also drawn to the idea of filming more action scenes. The Kill Bill star said: "I was like, 'Oh, I would be kind of picking up a little bit of my old trope,' and it caught my fancy. I was like, 'I think it's time. I'm gonna go support her and have a big old battle.'" Charlize relished working with Uma, revealing that she "fell off [her] chair" when the Hollywood star committed to the movie. Charlize said: "We got on the phone and had a lovely conversation. It was this beautiful mixture of really appreciating the first film we did and then also, like just a real, sincere sense of wanting to support and wanting to collaborate with us." Meanwhile, Charlize recently revealed that her children are unimpressed by her acting career. The movie star is one of the best-known actresses in Hollywood - but Charlize's kids are underwhelmed by her achievements. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Charlize quipped: "My children have zero respect for me. "It's just unbelievable, I feel like I'm pretty humble, but every once in a while I'm like 'there's a f****** Oscar right there.' They are so not impressed with me." Charlize noted that one of her kids is more impressed by another well-known movie star. The Oscar-winning actress - who has adopted daughters Jackson, 12, and August, nine - said: "My kids were with me when I shot Old Guard 2 and I worked on this incredibly intricate sequence where we brought in this amazing helicopter pilot, Fred North, and we were gonna choreograph this incredible me fighting helicopters and jumping on this real helicopter and hanging off. Shooting 99 percent of it on a real helicopter as it's trying to shake me off like a rag doll. "We took like two weeks to shoot this sequence and I was like, 'Wow, I just did that, that's really amazing.' And my child yesterday just looked at this poster of Tom Cruise and went, 'It's weird, he looks so much cooler than you did when you were hanging off the helicopter.'"

Emma Stone 'really wanted to work with Ari Aster'
Emma Stone "really wanted to work" with Eddington director Ari Aster. The 36-year-old actress stars alongside the likes of Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, and Austin Butler in the new comedy-drama film - but Emma admits that Ari really attracted her to the project. Asked what drew her to the movie, Emma told Extra: "Honestly, I loved the script, but the biggest draw for me was Ari." Emma is a long-time fan of the filmmaker, who previously helmed movies such as Hereditary and Midsommar. And the award-winning actress jumped at the opportunity to work with Ari. She shared: "I love Ari's other films. "I like him so much as a person and had gotten to know him for years before this, and so when he asked me if I wanted to be a part of it, I just said yes because I really, really wanted to work with Ari." Emma would actually love to work with Ari, 38, on another movie. Asked about the prospect of reuniting with him for another film, the actress replied: "I would love to, if he'll have me." Emma also relished the experience of working with the film's star-studded cast. However, she never actually got to shoot any scenes with Pedro Pascal. She explained: "I didn't get to work with him. You'll see in the movie, we don't get to intersect, but I've gotten to hang out with him outside of it, so it feels like it all evened out." Despite this, Emma can't wait to see her co-star in the new Fantastic Four movie. She said: "Of course I'm gonna see Fantastic Four. That trailer? With the song Fantastic Four where they're singing it? I mean, Pedro's enough for me, but then we got that great song? I'm in." Emma is one of the best-known actresses in Hollywood, but she previously confessed to suffering from crippling anxiety during her younger years. She told Rolling Stone magazine: "My brain [was] naturally zooming 30 steps ahead to the worst-case scenario. "My anxiety was constant. I would ask my mom a hundred times how the day would lay out. What time she was going to drop me off? Where was she going to be? What would happen at lunch? Feeling nauseous. At a certain point, I couldn't go to friends' houses anymore – I could barely get out the door to school." Emma's parents eventually encouraged her to see a therapist, and that proved to be a turning point for the movie star. She said: "I drew a little green monster on my shoulder that speaks to me in my ear and tells me all these things that aren't true. And every time I listen to it, it grows bigger. If I listen to it enough, it crushes me. But if I turn my head and keep doing what I'm doing it shrinks and fades away."
