Beyoncé heads to Vegas for final shows: Extreme heat, bag policy, Allegiant Stadium tips
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is riding into final stretch of her "Cowboy Carter" tour and is set to deliver two high-powered shows to close out the era. The Grammy-winning singer is headed to Las Vegas for the last stop on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is poised to take the stage at Allegiant Stadium for two nights on July 25 and 26. The Vegas stop comes after Beyoncé delivered four dazzling concerts at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, debuting new stunts and bringing out husband Jay-Z for the first time on a U.S. stop of her tour. During the four-night stint, Bey teased that the ATL crowd was her "loudest" yet. Of course, Beyoncé first kicked off her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with a 39-song set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion and different music genres. Here's what to know as fans head to Allegiant Stadium to witness the final two shows. Logistics: How to get to Allegiant Stadium, when doors open Allegiant Stadium is located at 3333 Al Davis Way in Las Vegas. It is accessible by car, on foot or through public transportation. On the Vegas Strip, the RTC's Deuce bus runs 24/7 and stops every 15 minutes at 57 locations along Las Vegas Boulevard. Fans who prefer to use ride-share options should be picked up and dropped in Lot N — just north of the stadium. Walking to Allegiant Stadium from the Las Vegas Strip is convenient and safe using the Hacienda Bridge. The stadium doors open at 5 p.m. local time. However, fans with VIP packages should check their emails prior to arrival for specific instructions for early entry. The show is set to kick off at 7 p.m., though Beyoncé's actual start time has varied between 7 and 8 p.m. Fans should note the stadium is cashless. Parking information for Allegiant Stadium Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. local time. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking ahead of the show. According to the site, there is no in-and-out access and fans are advised to pay electronically or with a card at the gates. Concertgoers can buy a parking space using the SpotHero app. Official parking spaces were priced around $50. However, there were additional lots starting around $30. Parking rates are subject to change without notice. What's the weather in Vegas? From the United States to Europe, Beyoncé and her fans have braved severe weather conditions, an evacuation, cold temperatures, scorching heat and rainy weather for her concerts. Fans should take note of the weather in their respective cities before putting on their chic cowboy-core attire. In Vegas, fans can expect sweltering temperatures. It's important to stay hydrated before and during the nearly three-hour show. Forecasts expect temperatures to reach 102 degrees Fahrenheit on both July 25 and 26. Bag policy, prohibited items at Allegiant Stadium Fans must follow the NFL clear bag policy at Allegiant Stadium. Guests are allowed to bring bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12-by-6-by-12 inches. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags. Attendees are also permitted to bring one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, but the logo can only be on one side. Additionally, small, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5-by-6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, are allowed. Medical bags or kits are acceptable and will be searched at the gate. Fans with large bags or suitcases may check their bags for a nonrefundable $20 fee per bag, payable via cashless payment. There will be three bag check locations, opening the same time stadium doors open and closing one hour after the event. Any bags not picked up before closing will be transferred to lost and found. Audio or visual recording devices of any size will not be permitted inside the venue. See a full list of prohibited items at The nine-city tour has spanned the U.S. and Europe, the grand finale is just days away. Two Decades of Stunning Seafood Endure at LA's Providence
When Providence made its debut in Hollywood on June 17, 2005, chef Michael Cimarusti and GM and co-owner Donato Poto immediately earned attention — and sparkling reviews — for their fun take on seafood-focused fine dining. From those early days when a constantly changing, nine-course market menu sat alongside a more traditional dinner menu and a 'California Coastline' tasting menu to now, when only one prix fixe menu is available per night, Cimarusti and Poto have led their quiet, steady team to three Michelin stars, helped the building undergo an oceanic renovation that captured the attention of locals, and maintained a reputation that's kept the restaurant open for 20 years. The chef spoke to Eater about what he's learned at the helm. When I first started, I had a feeling like I knew what we were doing. Today, I think I have a much more holistic view of what running a successful restaurant means. When I was younger and less informed, in my mind, people were just coming for the food. And obviously I knew that service was important, but what I've learned over time is how incredibly important a team is. My partner of 20 years, Donato, is one of the best in the business, period. And we worked together to figure out what worked, and what didn't. Back then, the menu we started with was just way too ambitious. We had an a la carte menu, and then we had two tasting menus. One tasting menu was called the California coastline, and it really just focused on all things California. And then the other menu was a bit more all-encompassing of seafood. The Providence dinner menu on June 28, 2005 — just 11 days after the restaurant officially opened. 'When I first moved to Los Angeles from New York, I just didn't have the breadth of experience in eating: I hadn't had as many experiences in Japanese restaurants,' Cimarusti says. 'I started to incorporate some Japanese elements into my cooking, and these influences are still so important to the menu today.' We realized, we can't do all of this at once, it's just way too much. So then we started to methodically pare down the menu, and it just evolved over time. We went from being two tasting menus to an la carte to just two tasting menus, and we ultimately arrived at where we are now: We just serve one menu and a vegetarian option. It's been a journey. Nowadays, it's much more a collaborative effort that encompasses a pretty good-sized group of people that are all part of the creative process. I think that makes the menu all that much better. Providence Providence When we took the space from chef Joachim Splichal of Patina, it was really quite nice. It was large and roomy. But I wanted to create a space that looked new and different. We hired a local architect and a design firm, and they worked within the existing four walls. Fast forward to 2023, we worked with Bells + Whistles to redesign the space with the sea theme, and that's what you're seeing today. Providence Providence Back then in 2005, you still had executives at Paramount Studios, which is right up the street, coming in for lunch and dinner and that kind of thing. We're in Hollywood — this is where it was all happening. [Following a series of challenges, including COVID-19, the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, and the devastation of the 2025 California wildfires, the entertainment industry in the Hollywood area has slowed over time.] We're in the heart of LA, and we love that. You've got to get in the car and drive here. We've never spared a dime, knowing where we're located, and the expectation that folks have come to have of our restaurant. The ability to serve and do all technically perfect cooking, and provide a high level of hospitality, is obviously super important. Great wine service is super important. We had elements of all of that, and that's why we really thrived. Providence always focused first and foremost on the guest experience. In many ways, that means cost be damned. It's just our way. Interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.
