Heyhae sun-cured gel nail strips offering an adorable manicure sure to give you heart eyes...along with heart nails. Just apply like stickers, cut and file to shape, then cure with sunlight.
An expanding file folder you can fill with up to 200 pieces of paper and free up sooo much desk space. As an accordion folder follower, I have to say these things are top-notch for organizing everything from restaurant menus to ticket stubs.
A set of Command spray bottle hangers to stick to the inside of a cabinet door for easy storage, so you can grab the multi-cleaner *the second* you hear food hit the floor.
A Lego cherry blossom kit for decor you can build yourself. The 430-piece set comes with everything you need to build two stems, and at less than $15, it's a steal compared to most Lego kits.
A pair of suede Mary Janes with fuzzy lining for anyone who wishes they could wear their clogs year round but require a liiittle more insulation. Wear them inside or out, with socks or bare feet — the world's your slipper!
A pack of disposable shower hair catchers for people who often forget to clean the drain after a shower and too squeamish to maintain a device like the TubShroom. You can just close your eyes and throw these away when they're too hair-infested.
A pair of aromatherapy gemstone soaps sure to make your guests' bathroom experience seriously rock. Dad jokes aside, these soaps come in amazing fragrances (think: lavender, lemongrass, sandalwood, etc.) and have real crystals inside, like amethyst and tiger eye.
A jewelry cleaning pen you can count on to add new shine to your gems; no costly trip to the jeweler required. As someone who refuses to take off rings before washing dishes, showering, etc., I need this!
A pair of energy-efficient stained glass lightbulbs ready to wash your home in a kaleidoscope of colors. Guests will wonder if you moved into the Sagrada Familia.
A long-lasting temporary tattoo kit for when you're bored of your current ink situation and wanna mix it up — for a little bit, at least.
An automatic toilet cleaning system that shoots a bleach cleanser in your bowl with every flush, keeping things fresh between scrubbing sessions. I don't know why, but the toilet stamps kind of embarrass me — I don't want people to know I'm off-loading my toilet cleaning duties — so this is the perfect solution. 🤓
Juno & Co.'s Clean 10 Cleansing Balm made with a blend of pearl barley and vitamin E to completely obliterate every speck of makeup on your face. Seriously, you'll feel so fresh and baby-faced, you'll wonder if that eyeliner was really as smudge-proof as you previously thought.
A giant 1-pound bag of marshmallows for anyone who picks the boring cereal out of Lucky Charms. I don't blame you if you end up taking romantic selfies with the bag.
A Kerasal fungal nail renewal formula to revitalize your tootsies by thickening nails and reducing discoloration. Feel free to plan to wear open-toed shoes next week — reviewers started noticing a visible difference within days.
An undetectable mouse jiggler for anyone with a micromanager who's a little too invested in your online status. This will make it seem like you're active while you take a much-needed break.
Stain remover possibly created by the gods of white couches, because it can get rid of even the toughest of wine spills.
Dr. Scholl's self-heating soothing foot masks made with Epsom salts, lavender, and peppermint to treat your tired, achey feet before you put them back to work. The length of Target's toy aisle isn't going to walk itself!
An ice tray that fully seals, so you can turn that thing sideways and shove it in between your various mysterious bags of frozen somethings. No need to throw away that container of 3-year-old frozen beans to make room juuuust yet.
A shoe stretcher so you can avoid the horrible breaking-in period and go straight to enjoying your new loafers, no bandages needed.
A pack of anti-slip glasses sleeves, because pushing your glasses back up your nose stops being cute after the millionth time you have to do it.

Jumbo divider sticky notes so you can jot down some summary notes on each section in your notebook. This level of note-taking isn't just for type As — this is for type A+s.
A super dainty sterling silver ring featuring the tiniest little horse. Timothée Chalamet would be so jealous.
A keychain car escape tool that's able to both cut your seat belt and break your car window in emergency situations.
A food tracker to make sure your pet isn't over or underfed. No amount of sad puppy dog eyes can dupe you into feeding Mr. Wiggles twice.

A satin-lined Hairbrella to keep your hair protected from rain, humidity, and anything else that's out to ruin your perfect hairdo.
A pack of Miracle-Gro water-storing crystals that'll prevent both under- *and* over-watering, which I believe are the top two killers of plants. When you water your houseplants, the crystals retain the moisture and release it as the soil dries.
Nostalgic bath pearls for anyone who misses taking a truly fun bath. Throw a couple into your tub, put on "Candy" by Mandy Moore, and recapture some '90s magic.
A Sauberkugel, or a cleaning ball that picks up crumbs, lint, and debris as it rolls around your bag.
A set of 10 peel-off jelly masks so you can feel like a frosted dessert during your next self-care session. The electrolyte-infused hydro masks come in styles like lavender, hyaluronic acid, tea tree, and chamomile and work to hydrate, soothe, and balance your pH level.
Soot sprite dryer balls that'll look sooo cute bouncing around in your dryer. Besides being adorable, they could reduce drying time, prevent wrinkles, and soften clothes, all without coating your stuff in a waxy residue like dryer sheets do.
Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel in case you've always wanted to not only drink the energizing tea, but also wear it. This cult-fave can help quickly minimize eye puffiness and swelling using its combination of caffeine and hyaluronic acid. Finally, your eyes can look and feel as refreshed as you do after a bottle of White Label.
The Wand, if you insist on drinking two-buck Chuck despite the dire consequences. This mini handheld filter could possibly reduce your wine-induced headaches by removing histamines and sulfites in alcohol, aka the stuff that can potentially cause a nasty hangover. It'll be like you sprang for a really fancy bottle of natural wine! Bonus: It claims to revive oxidized wine, so you don't have to toss an open bottle.
Glisten garbage disposal cleaner that's not only easy to use, but also very entertaining. Run some hot water, pop one of the packets in your disposer, let it foam, then wait for the foam to fully disappear, and bam! You can admire your lemony fresh drain that was basically cleaned for you.
Budget-friendly waterproof eyebrow wax to give your brows a little love. Just swipe on the clear, organic formula to shape, then add your favorite eyebrow gel or pencil on top for color if needed.
Waterslide decal paper that will make you feel like some sort of design magician. Stick your art or photos on nails, toys, candles, planters, or whatever else you'd like.
A roll of marble contact paper to give your home an instant dash of glamor. Reviewers like to use it on previously drab kitchen tables, bathroom counters, and Ikea furniture.
A Howard Products Feed-N-Wax wood polish and conditioner giving your furniture an impossibly lustrous shine previously never seen in your home. The carnauba wax and beeswax enhance and protect your wood from drying out, so you can keep your great-grandmother's rocking chair in tip-top shape with just a few swipes.

Guests will love having a lil' friend welcome them with a cozy glow each night, especially now that the days are starting to get a little shorter again. :( A giant pretzel for anyone looking for something more interesting than a pool noodle to sit on while lounging in the water. It works for cantaloupe and honeydew as well, meaning you'll definitely be the one to volunteer to bring the fruit at the next outdoor hang. Your wrist with thank you for this thing! A "disposable" camera that offers the same spur-of-the-moment fun, but without the waste. The camera is made with recycled materials, has an automatic flash, and shoots on 33-mm film. Just take your pics, mail the camera back for reuse, and wait for your photos to develop! A pack of bug bite patches to help kids — and let's face it, adults — stop scratching themselves raw. These patches contain hydrocolloid, aloe, and witch hazel to soothe itchiness and put a barrier between the bite and scratching nails. The orange, banana, and strawberry toys are non-sticky and have the *perfect* amount of give, securing themselves a place in the stress ball hall of fame. People will be chasing you down to know your hair secrets. A freezable wineglass for those ultra-hot days when the wine heats up faster than you can drink it. The built-in cooling gel keeps drinks so cold, you'll be happy for the insulating band to protect your hand. A set of special stickers that tell you when it's time to reapply sunscreen. Cover it (and your skin, of course) with sunscreen, and the sticker will turn clear. When it turns purple, you know it's time for another generous coating of sun protection. Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter made with shea butter, coconut oil, and avocado oil to hydrate after overdoing it in the sun. Reviewers say it smells great (like coconut) and helps prevent peeling or dryness. A laptop tent because sun glare is the number one reason why we're not all working from beach. The reflective fabric creates a little dark room for your computer to prevent overheating and sun glare. Now you can actually see the email you're writing and not accidentally type, "Best regrads." Julep Eyeshadow 101 — a creme-to-powder waterproof pencil over 42,000 people love because it's easy to apply and has vitamins C and E for a little skincare boost. The fast-to-apply formula comes in a ton of neutral *and* playful summer hues, like lavender and papaya. Grab the mint shade and live your best Aquamarine life. A mosquito repeller that works in 15 minutes to scare away buzzing pests in a 10- to 15-foot radius. It releases an odorless repellent into the air that's people- and pet-friendly. It's lightweight and so effortlessly chic, you could easily wear it off the sand as well! An Aerflo System that lets you carbonate water *ON THE GO!* That means you can take a fizzy drink with you, and when you run out, you can refill at a water fountain and fizz it up for round two. Each refillable capsule makes four bottles' worth, so you can stay hydrated in this heat. A hair-lightening spray to brighten up hair by TWO shades or more! Spritz a little of this citrus and chamomile spray onto damp hair, then activate it with heat-styling tools. I recommend blow-drying and hitting it with a curling iron or straightener for the best results. Over 7,000 5-star raters love it because it's less harsh than bleach and even works on dark hair. A bottle of Coppertone shimmering sunscreen offering just a subtle sprinkle of glitter, meaning people might briefly mistake you for a vampire. Plus, the SPF 50 will ensure you just sparkle like a Twilight vampire instead of burn like a True Blood one. Or Kopari Sun Shield Body Glow with SPF 30 if you're looking for some extra protection on your summer adventures. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, smells coconut-y, and leaves you with a radiant glow that will make even the sun jealous. Liquid I.V. electrolyte drink mix in a variety of exciting, summer-ready flavors ranging from watermelon to pina colada. Besides being delicious, the electrolyte powder is formulated to help hydrate faster than plain water. It also just tastes good so you might be more likely to drink more in general. L'Oréal Paris BB Cream, a green-tinted formula that combats redness through the power of color theory. It doesn't stop there — it also works to even complexion, hydrate with vitamin E, and set the perfect stage for you to apply your makeup on. Your pink-cheeked friends will wonder how you're breezily surviving 95+-degree weather. Or an ultra-affordable E.l.f. color corrector that comes in a ton of shades to help counteract different types of discoloration, like redness and dark spots. Mix and match to create the perfect foundation for the rest of your compliment-magnet makeup routine. A set of limited edition Band-Aids with cute, summery floral designs because who said a papercut can't be a fashion statement? Ogx Argan Oil of Morocco Curl-Defining Cream for curls so bouncy you'll be jumping for joy (and to show them off). The argan oil-boosted formula moisturizes and tames frizz (nice try, summer humidity!) while adding a level of volume and shine you'd normally expect from a much higher price point. Whether you tell people how you achieved this level of hair perfection is up to you. A candle boasting a summery scent reminiscent of cucumber, cut grass — and tennis balls! Your guests are gonna come in and be like, "why does your home smell like tennis?!" A L'Oreal glow-enhancing lotion that'll have you feeling like the Baby Sun from Teletubbies. Mix this glycerin-infused illuminator with your favorite moisturizer or foundation, wear it as a makeup base, or use it as a highlighter for that coveted lit-from-within look. If you aren't sick of compliments yet, you're about to be! A UPF 50 beach tent to create a lil' den-like area for the sun-fearing beachgoers among us. It has room for up to 10 people (depending on what size you get), folds up nicely for easy traveling, and promises not to easily blow away in the wind like some umbrellas I know. 😒 A coconut lip scrub that uses jojoba and avocado oil to help soften lips and leave them smelling like a tropical getaway. Name a scent more summery than coconut. I'll wait! A pack of fruit-shaped ice packs, which may look like fidget toys, but are actually perfect for keeping food cold, numbing bumps and scrapes, soothing toothaches, etc. Prepare to have parents calling you when their kids tell them about your kid's amazing packed lunch sitch. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub that gently exfoliates, leaving skin feeling fresh, smooth, and smelling delicious. If you're trying to decide what scent to try first, may I suggest the summer-ready Desert Haze? Reviewers love this smoky, floral "loud" scent (jasmine, raspberry, musk, etc.) so much that it sold out repeatedly. Once you try it, you'll forget all about the more expensive brands.

Lego's August Releases Are Going Merry

Lego usually has quiet months and big months in terms of releases, but by far and away the two most important times of the year for Lego—and most threatening for your wallet as a Lego fan—are the start of it in January and the height of summer in August. The latter is finally here, and Lego has a lot of options for if you want to beat the heat by staying inside and building bricks. A lot of options. With dozens upon dozens upon dozens of new sets arriving today, it's hard to really break down particular highlights, with almost every major Lego line getting at least a couple of releases, alongside stalwarts like Marvel and Star Wars getting massive new waves. There are even a few entirely new lines making their debut amid the mania too, like the highly anticipated arrival of Lego One Piece, inspired by the Netflix adaptation. Check out all those, and more, in our roundup of the most interesting sets arriving this month! Lego has a few Technic sets out this month, but the standout in our genre-nerd eyes has to be this amazing rover set, inspired by the fabled Lego Space line. The kit comes with a primary moon rover, as well as smaller builds for a mining rover and MAPP rover, and some moon rocks they can collect into a sample container. ($100, available here). The multibuild creator sets are always an opportunity to sneak in some nods to other Lego lines, and August's offerings include a pretty fun new Lego Castle set for any medieval fantasy fans (introducing a new faction) and a cutie-spooky Monster Fighters homage in the Haunted Mansion. But then, consider this! There is also Beautiful Horse. Its beauty is, perhaps, in the eye of the beholder. Inspired by the first season of the Netflix live-action adaptation of the seminal anime and manga, Lego is going all out for the debut of One Piece as a line, right in time for the excitement around season two. From small sets to massive adult-focused kits like the Baratie, there's something for every fan of the show here—but of course the highlight has to be the Going Merry, which comes with the complete (up to this point in the series) Straw Hat crew in one place. Speaking of Netflix shows gearing up for season two! Just in time for the first volume of Wednesday's return to hit the streamer next week, Lego has concocted a buildable black dahlia flower, complete with minidolls of Wednesday and Professor Thornhill. ($28, available here). It's a big Spider-Man wave for Lego Marvel in August, but there are some more Avenging sets around, like sets inspired by Iron Man 2 and Endgame. That doesn't stop the webslinger from taking the prize, though, in the form of a subway train set inspired by the classic one Lego released for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. The Mario line has been on a bit of a karting kick lately, and August is no exception. But not every set is about that kart life: we get a couple of fun Toad buildable sets, including one inspired by Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The first Decepticon to join the Lego Transformers line, Soundwave can transform between robot and cassette player mode and comes with buildable (and similarly transforming) Ravage and Laserbeak minions that can sit in his tape deck. He even plays sounds from a special brick built into his torso unit! ($190, available here) Away from the glow of the movie release, things are back to normal for Lego Minecraft, which offers a special piece of gaming advice this month: maybe don't build your house out of TNT. It's a very big and very expensive month for Star Wars fans with an eclectic mix of sets on offer—from a tease of the next Lego Star Wars animated adventure to a new UCS AT-ST and even some buildable characters in the form of K-2SO and Wicket. This cute gaming model replicates a classic arcade machine, which in itself hides a little gamer cave for the included minifigure to hang out in. ($40, available here). There are still a few more villagers and locales Nintendo and Lego can add to your islands this month, including Blathers' museum! Metal Sonic strikes in the handful of Sonic sets we get this month, which splits Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails across two different villainous battles. Cultural reappraisals aside, one thing that's always been beloved about Batman Forever is its slick Batmobile, which Lego is wonderfully recreating in this new display model—complete with a minifigure Batman inspired by the film's Sonar Batsuit. ($100, available here). Want more io9 news?
