Alix Earle addresses speculation about NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios: 'We're not broken up'
Earle addressed the topic during a recent edition of her "Hot Mess" podcast. The episode delved into what it takes to "survive a long-distance relationship."
Earle suggested the rumors about their alleged breakup primarily revolve around her or Berrios being seen in public without each other. Berrios spent the past two football seasons with the Miami Dolphins. But this offseason, he signed with the Houston Texans. Earle appears to spend the majority of her time in South Florida.
"When we go out without each other, everyone's like, 'You and Braxton are broken up because Alix is out at a party without him,'" she recalled.
Earle then made it clear that she simply trusts Berrios.
"I am allowed to go out without my boyfriend and I think we just trust each other," she continued. "It's not a crazy concept to us. Like imagine if Braxton was like, 'You can't go out tonight.' I would be like, 'Well, this isn't gonna work out for me,'" she noted, hypothetically.
Earle added that no major issues about outings have ever surfaced between her and Berrios, saying the pair "never really have that problem." She also said she refrains from "nagging" Berrios and "asking him a million questions when he is having one of his "boy's nights."
"We just kind of trust each other," the content creator concluded.
Training camps recently opened across the NFL and the preseason opened Thursday night with the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The Texans open the regular season on Sept. 7 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Teddy Bridgewater to sign with Buccaneers following suspension from high school coaching job
Teddy Bridgewater is making another NFL comeback, as Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht confirmed the team's plans to sign him. Bridgewater, 32, is coming out of retirement for the second time to join Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask. Licht confirmed to reporters on Tuesday that Bridgewater was in Tampa for a visit and that while no deal is official, the "intention" is to sign him. "We had some discussions about it, that it'd be a nice addition to the [quarterback] room, good for Baker. Experienced guy, obviously a smart, hell of high school coach – hell of a coach in general. But just a good addition just to have that wealth of experience there." Licht did not say that Bridgewater would step in to serve as the backup over Trask, but did say that the competition is still open. Bridgewater has played 10 seasons in the NFL, predominately with the Minnesota Vikings, who he was selected by in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and the Miami Dolphins. In 2023, he announced his plans to retire, which he officially did in early 2024. He went on to pursue coaching football at his former high school in Miami, where he led the team to a Class 3A state championship last season. Bridgewater came out of retirement in December to join the Detroit Lions in their playoff pursuit. He is 33-32 as a starter and has totaled 15,120 yards, 75 touchdowns, 47 interceptions and has a 90.5 passer rating. Last month, Bridgewater was suspended from coaching his former high school team for providing players with financial benefits. He questioned the suspension, adding in a Facebook post that he "self reported." He also said in the post, "I'm not going anywhere."

Go behind the scenes of "Sweet & Lucky: Echo," Denver Center for Performing Arts' latest immersive experience
Months after wrapping a very successful run of "Monopoly Lifesized," the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is preparing to open its latest immersive theatrical experience. "Sweet & Lucky: Echo" is set to open Aug. 13 in Denver. This experience takes audiences through an immersive journey, following the story of a couple and the memories they created. Set in a warehouse, audiences find themselves surrounded by shelves filled with cardboard boxes. "Immersive theatre places audiences at the center of the story," said Charlie Miller, executive director and curator of the DCPA's off-center program. Off-center was created 15 years ago, founded in part by Miller. "Immersive theatre engages all of your senses," Miller said. CBS News Colorado was taken behind the scenes of the production as the cast, crew, and creative team completed some of their final run-throughs of the production. Zach Morris with Third Rail Projects helped create the production. He said the idea behind the warehouse full of boxes is supposed to help audiences feel they are unpacking stories. "We are playing with the idea of memories coming out of boxes," Morris said. For those who have never been to an immersive theatrical experience, the DCPA is one of the leaders in the country when it comes to such experiences. Sweet & Lucky: Echo will involve audiences sitting and walking through the stage, with the cast interacting with them. "You are not just watching it from a distance, but you are a part of it," Miller said. Miller said it has been fun to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Off-Center, especially with the upcoming production. "Ever since (we started), we have been experimenting with new ways of engaging audiences and centering them in the storytelling," Miller said. "The way audiences get to interact with and experience art has greatly expanded. It is so exciting to bring this experience to our community." Morris said audience members are essential to the concept of immersive theatre. "They're entering a world that is all around them. The action is happening only feet or inches away, and they become a part of the story," Morris said. Morris said, while the show is intended to walk audiences through a story of a couple's love, many will walk away from the experience reflecting on their own life experiences. "We are looking at these ideas of memory, love, and relationships through time," Morris said. "We're thinking about what does love mean? What does loss mean? What does memory mean? While that is manifested here on stage, it also, I think, has echoes for the audience that relate to their own lives." Sweet & Lucky: Echo plays at the DCPA Aug. 13 through Oct. 5. Jaxson Dart is QB3 on Giants' first depth chart
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has work to go to become the starter. Supposedly. The 25th pick in the 2025 draft lands at third on the team's initial depth chart of 2025, behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Rounding out the quarterback room is Tommy DeVito, at fourth string. Per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, the actual practices have had Dart taking reps after Wilson and before Winston. The move could be an effort to show that Dart will earn his spot by overcoming obstacles, eventually moving past Winston before leapfrogging Wilson. Alternatively (or perhaps additionally), the positioning could be aimed at showcasing Winston, who could be the odd man out when it's time to trim the depth chart from four to three. Before releasing Winston, it would make sense to try to trade him. DeVito is destined to be cut and, if he clears waivers, to sign with the practice squad. The bigger question is whether the Giants keep Winston on the 53-man roster, to go along with Wilson and Dart. The biggest question is when will Dart play? In 2004, Kurt Warner was benched despite a 5-4 record because the Giants were ready to flip the switch to Eli Manning.
