The live family entertainment show will feature iconic Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Moana, Cinderella, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Marigold, and Coco, offering audiences of all ages a memorable on-ice performance.
The event forms part of Bahrain's efforts to diversify its tourism offerings in line with the 2022 – 2026 Tourism Strategy, positioning the kingdom as a key summer destination in the region. It aims to enhance the summer events calendar with high-profile entertainment that appeals to residents, citizens, and GCC families.

Exhibition World Bahrain Launches 'EWB's Imagination Station'
Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) announces the launch of 'EWB's Imagination Station', a creative platform designed to offer engaging, family-oriented experiences through collaborations with a diverse range of local partners. The inaugural edition of EWB's Imagination Station will debut in parallel with the upcoming Bahrain Summer Toy Festival 2025, running from the 1st of July to the 5th of August 2025 at the East Lounge of EWB. This first activation is held in collaboration with Artly, a well-known Bahrain-based creative arts studio, and will feature an interactive lineup of arts and crafts activities tailored for children, teens, adults and families. At the heart of the experience are daily hands-on art stations that inspire creativity and encourage exploration through self-expression and collaborative engagement. Visitors of all ages can participate freely, and at their own pace, with activities suitable for both individual and group enjoyment. Creative highlights for walk-in visitors of this first edition include tote bag painting, the Fluid Bear Bar for acrylic-paint art on bear figures, and canvas painting, where Bahrain's landmarks come to life through guided designs. In addition to the walk-in stations, weekly guided art classes will be offered across various age groups starting with 4-year-olds and up to adults, with rotating workshops in painting, clay, and mixed media ranging from cookie decorating and mask-making to paracord bracelets, sand art, and self-portraits, ensuring something fresh and fun each week. Minister drives green card, water rules
TDT | Manama A high- level committee chaired by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, has approved sweeping updates to Bahrain's product standards, marking a pivotal shift toward environmental accountability through the introduction of green labeling and water-saving regulations. Green focus The sixty-second meeting of the National Committee for Standards and Metrology was held this week, bringing together senior officials including Undersecretary Eman Ahmed Al Doseri and Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic and Foreign Trade Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa. The committee reviewed Bahrain's upcoming 'Green Product Card' initiative, a regulatory tool designed to guide eco-labelling and sustainability compliance. Participants also discussed the implementation status of the Gulf Regulation for Water Conservation Tools, which aligns Bahrain with GCC-wide standards aimed at reducing water consumption through more efficient fixtures and plumbing products. Product standards updated During the session, the committee approved new technical regulations covering a set of targeted products. These updated standards are designed to strengthen consumer safety while ensuring compatibility with international specifications in the areas of measurement, safety, and product quality. The committee also reviewed several submissions related to national development goals, including requests to update or new draft specifications in support of domestic initiatives. Sustainability alignment HE Minister Fakhro praised the contributions of committee members and reaffirmed the importance of aligning Bahrain's technical frameworks with global best practices. He stressed that advancing legislative and regulatory infrastructure is essential for maintaining both consumer safety and environmental stewardship. The achievements of the Bahrain Standards and Metrology Directorate (BSMD) were also highlighted during the meeting, reflecting Bahrain's broader direction toward institutionalizing sustainable production and trade practices. With the technical decisions now approved, the next phase is expected to focus on enforcing the new standards and raising public awareness of the Green Product Card system.

DXB expects over 3.4m guests this summer
Dubai International (DXB) is entering a period of sustained peak operations, with more than 3.4 million guests expected to travel through the airport between 27th June and 9th July 2025, reported WAM. Daily volumes are forecast to average over 265,000 with the busiest day on 5 July for both departures and transfer traffic. Dubai Airports, alongside its stakeholders, has activated an integrated summer readiness plan to ensure guest journeys remain safe and efficient. While the wider regional situation has led to some delays and cancellations across the network, the oneDXB community has been working around the clock to support guests, provide welfare, and maintain service continuity. Supported by a real-time monitoring and predictive system to optimise manpower and resource utilisation. DXB continues to monitor the situation in close coordination with authorities and airline partners, prioritising the safety of all guests and employees on the ground and through to take-off.
