ITV Loose Women star makes Pickle Cottage announcement as she says 'it's time'
TV personality and doting mum Stacey Solomon has been buzzing with excitement as she reveals the latest joyful news about life at Pickle Cottage – the abode she shares with her other half, the cheeky chappie Joe Swash. The pair, who've created heaps of happy memories at home, including tying the knot last year, are opening up their home to new adventures.
Known for her savvy business mind, Stacey's become quite the entrepreneurial success with Key Map Entertainments raking in close to a hefty £3m since it was established in 2012. But that's not all; she's also steered another venture into the limelight this February, launching Belle and Rose Ltd, which dips its toes into the world of beauty retail.
The former Loose Women panellist, no stranger to a good old Instagram update, showed off her lush Essex haven recently, where she's been sprinkling her interior magic over four joy-filled years.

Taking to Instagram, Stacey couldn't hide her delight as she penned a heartwarming message alongside a snap of her ready-to-enjoy pool: "It is time, to open Pickle Cottage pool, feel so grateful and lucky to have this in our home. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe Sunday nights might look like this."
Another snippet from Stacey's Insta-life featured a blissful moment with her youngest, Belle, as she made a splash during her second birthday celebrations and marked a significant milestone — the start of nursery, reports the Liverpool Echo.
But it's not just about poolside fun; Stacey's been hard at work creating a zen vibe in her garden. She shared a video clip showing a serene stone bowl setup telling her followers, "Setting up a little chill spot, while the kids have dinner because they want to swim all night so me and Joe will be on lifeguard duty."
The updates kept coming as Stacey posted a heartwarming clip of her son Leighton teaching little Rex to swim, which she dubbed her "favourite video of the day."
During lockdown, Stacey has been flaunting her DIY prowess, keeping fans abuzz with home makeover tales. Two bathrooms in her abode have undergone enchanting transformations into mermaid and dinosaur sanctums.
The Solomon-Swash residence, affectionately termed Pickle Cottage, boasts an impressive 2.5-acre plot.
For Joe's landmark 40th, Stacey outdid herself by crafting a bespoke 'den,' adorned with his TV memorabilia, a pool table and an inspirational quote across a wooden beam: 'We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing'. The cosy and chic aesthetic continues seamlessly into their kitchen, featuring a stunning stone wall.
Adding to the family charm, the Solomon homestead also houses a few furry friends. Just last week, Stacey took to Instagram to update fans on Teddy, the family pooch, following his grooming session at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.
Despite facing mobility issues, Teddy is spirited thanks to ongoing physiotherapy, with Stacey sharing: "Happy Tuesday. While I was working yesterday Teddy went with Leanne from @hopefieldanimalsanctuary and had a hair cut and groom, he's so happy. He's doing so well with his physio and just being the amazing boy even though he can't use his legs anymore."
The ex-X Factor sensation is a proud pet mum to two dogs, Teddy and Peanut, and a flock of five ducks. Teddy is a sprightly Cocker Spaniel, while Peanut is a charming Dachshund.
Recently, the family home has been chirping with joy as they welcomed four new chicks.
The ITV darling is also a doting mum to her brood of five: Zachary, 18, Leighton, 12, Rex, 5, Rose, 3 and Belle 2. Her first son, Zachary, was born when she was just 17, fathered by her childhood love Dean Cox.
Her second son, Leighton, was born to her then-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Meghan's ‘essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments' wine sells out in under hour
Meghan launched her As Ever Napa Valley Rose 2023, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on Tuesday. The beverage, priced at more than £65 for a minimum three-bottle order, had only appeared to be available for US customers to buy, with shipping addresses limited to America. Meghan and the Duke of Sussex left the UK and moved to California five years ago for a new life after stepping down from the working monarchy. A post shared by @aseverofficial The wine went on sale at 4pm UK time, but the site was updated less than hour later to signal stocks were sold out. In a post on Instagram, the duchess' As Ever brand said: 'It's here! Raise a glass to the newest addition to the As ever family. Our beautiful Napa Valley rose is now available'. A short clip showed the wine being poured into a glass, with accompanying sound. The pale pink wine, in a clear bottle with a white gold-rimmed label, was launched on a dedicated where an over-21 birth date must be inputted to enter and where the drink was described as: 'A delicately balanced rose with soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish.' The site adds: 'Reminiscent of the finest Provencal styles, it's crisp, pale in color, and effortlessly elegant – crafted for slow afternoons and golden-hour gatherings. 'This rose captures the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments through its thoughtfully crafted blend.' A post shared by @aseverofficial The wine was not available to buy in orders of less than three bottles. According to the Drink Aware charity, most wines have an ABV of around 11-14%. Meghan added apricot jam to her collection in June after restocking her online store, with items selling out for a second time in a row. A post shared by @aseverofficial The duchess was shown drinking rose during the last episode of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan earlier this year when she offered chef Alice Waters a glass of wine. 'Would you like a glass of rose while we're cooking?' the duchess said, pouring from a bottle which does not appear to be As Ever wine, having a different label. Meghan added as she drank: 'Might be the best sip of wine I've ever had.' Napa Valley wine country is in northern California, around 50 miles from San Francisco.

Inside huge abandoned UK underground station walked over by millions
A creepy underground station that has been left to rot for more than 30 years once played a vital part in protecting Brits from air ride strikes during both World Wars Beneath the bustling streets of central London lies a 'ghost' station that remains eerily frozen in time. Thousands of Brits walk over this underground hub every single day, completely unaware of the abandoned station below them which has been described as a 'deserted time capsule' in the heart of the city. Aldwych (also known as Strand) opened up back in 1907, and was once a terminus of the Piccadilly line, serving trains to and from Holborn station. Consisting of two platforms, interconnecting tunnels, and a ticket hall, this disused station played a key role during both World Wars, providing shelters for Londoners desperate to escape air raids. It was also used to protect some of the nation's most valuable artworks from being destroyed by bombs, including sections of the Elgin Marbles and paintings from the National Gallery. However, the station was never used by passengers as much as intended, resulting in it permanently closing to the public in 1994. Now, it remains a creepy omen of what once was, and has been used as a filming venue for several iconic films and TV shows, including Sherlock, Luther: The Fallen Sun, Mr Selfridge, 28 Weeks Later, and Netflix's Bodies. Distinguished by its famous red-tiled façade, Brits can now go on a tour of the station and spot the decades-old posters that still stick to the walls. The original 1907 lifts and vintage tiles have been left abandoned for decades, which makes for a perfect Instagram snap. "Step back in time and immerse yourself in the beautifully preserved Leslie Green architecture that defined the Edwardian era," states London Transport Museum, a charity dedicated to conserving and sharing London's transport and design heritage. "Retrace the steps of passengers from over a century ago in the turn-of-the-century ticket hall, step into the original 1907 lifts, and admire vintage tiles and signs dotted throughout the station. Discover how the station's role extended beyond providing safety, with stories of the entertainment and community spirit that kept morale high beneath the city streets." Tickets to enter Aldwych are priced at £45 for adults and £42 for concessions and children. The tour is open to guests aged 10 and over, and those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The guided tour lasts for around 75 minutes and does not offer step-free access. There are 160 steps connecting the entrance at street level to the platforms below, meaning wheelchair users cannot be accommodated. "This tour also takes guests to confined areas and spaces with low lighting and that may be dusty, which may make it unsuitable for people with claustrophobia," London Transport Museum added.
