Counterfeit goods worth £370,000 seized
According to South Yorkshire Police, about £370,000 worth of electronic devices, counterfeit vapes, vape liquids and cartridges were discovered after an inspection of a business in Rotherham.
Insp Darren Birley said the counterfeit vapes could have posed a health risk to users and were undercutting legitimate businesses.
He said: "Information provided by members of the public is vital in helping us gather intelligence, carry out inspections and execute warrants."
Rotherham South Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the joint operation in Dinnington with Rotherham Council's Trading Standards Team on 5 March, following information reported by members of the public.
Insp Birley said the ongoing work was focused on ensuring the safety of local communities.
He added: "Working together on the issues that matter the most to local communities is what pushes us to achieve results like these.
"The hard work does not stop, and we will continue to focus on this issue."

Moment police catch dealer with more than £1,700 of drugs
A Doncaster drug dealer has been put behind bars after police officers caught him with more than £1,700 of drugs. South Yorkshire Police officers were carrying out plain-clothed patrols earlier this year when they were directed by the CCTV control room to Paul Ebbage, who was seen making a suspected drug deal in Trafford Way, Doncaster. They conducted a search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. As a result of the search, the officers recovered 108 packages of crack cocaine and 44 packages of heroin, worth a combined total of £980. They also found a knuckle duster. READ MORE: The 'extermination' of Yorkshire village where entire families left and were never heard from again READ MORE: 'The ocean was his happy place' - Heartbroken partner of missing Leeds dad swept out to sea at Thornwick Bay After being arrested and bailed, Ebbage was seen acting suspiciously in Milbanke Street in April by an officer from the Doncaster Central Neighbourhood Policing Team. She was on patrol in the area due to suspected drug activity, and she carried out another search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. This uncovered up to £800 of snappy bags containing heroin and more than £1,000 in cash. Ebbage, of Wharf Road, Wheatley, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply heroin, one count of possession with intent to supply cocaine, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing criminal property. He pleaded guilty to all three offences and was sentenced to three years in prison at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, July 29. PC Matt Carter, the officer in charge of the case, said: "We regularly conduct patrols of the city centre area and will act to tackle any signs of criminality that we witness. "In this instance, Ebbage was subjected to two lawful searches which led to the recovery of a huge quantity of drugs, which has since been destroyed and an application has also been made to recover over £1,000 suspected of being gained through the sale of drugs. "We hope this kind of enforcement action reassures people in Doncaster and shows them that we are working hard to stamp out criminality and anti-social behaviour and make Doncaster a Safer City."
