If you've ever mentally debated whether to go for the baby carrier or the pram, or wondered if sleep consultants are actually a thing, then clear your diary.
The Baby Expo 2025 is returning to Dubai.
Taking place on Friday May 16 and Saturday May 17, at Dubai World Trade Centre, The Baby Expo 2025, presented by Blaura, brings together a world of baby and parenting essentials under one (very large) roof.
What to expect
With more than 250 brands from 44 countries setting up shop across 14,000 square metres, expect everything from buggies to bottle sanitisers, formula to fashion.
You'll spot familiar names like Cybex, Fisher-Price, Doona, Tommee Tippee, Lansinoh, Stokke and Baby Brezza alongside new regional launches making their debut.
The expo is also a place for parents to gather, learn and ask all the things Google can't quite answer.
Explore the lineup
With over 100 speakers on the lineup, including sleep whisperer Julie Mallon, potty training expert Amanda Jenner and the team behind The Wise Parent, rest assured you're in good hands.
And that's before we even get to the big conversations hosted on the Expert Education Stage or the new Mother & Baby Relaxation Lounge, where a moment of calm and a quick massage could be yours for the taking.
One of the highlights this year is the NextGen: Industry Leaders Summit on Friday May 16. It's a full-day affair for the business-minded, bringing together decision-makers from the baby and children's retail world to explore what's next in the industry.
King's College Hospital Dubai is back with a series of medical talks on maternal and infant health and Cybex is launching a brand-new Safety Zone.
Expect live demos on car seat safety, advice on travel solutions and more peace of mind for your next road trip.
The best part? Get the little ones to tag along because there's plenty of fun for them, too. Let them explore the interactive play zones and entertainment areas.
Excited for your parenting era? Mark your calendars now.

‘World's largest' time capsule opened in Nebraska 50 years later

SEWARD, Neb. — Treasures from 1975, sealed inside what the World Record Academy once called the 'world's largest time capsule,' went on display Friday, drawing hundreds from across the country to catch a glimpse of relics from the past. Thousands of letters, pet rocks, artwork, a groovy teal suit and even a yellow Chevy Vega had been preserved inside the capsule — a portal to another era — for half a century. 'This is the culmination of 50 years of planning on the part of my father,' Trish Davisson Fisher said. 'My father, Harold Davisson, wanted to wait for his grandchildren to remember life in 1975. He was a big proponent of life. He did everything big,' she told NBC News. Back then, sealing the items was a logistical feat. Fisher said her father created a ventilation system in an attempt to keep moisture out. In 1983, after learning they had lost the world record from the World Record Academy, the family added a pyramid atop the capsule to recapture the title. 'There were packages from, I'm going to say, 3,000 people, letters and packages, letters to themselves, letters to the grandchildren, letters to their heirs,' Davisson said. But inside, some items fared better than others. 'A lot of the other packages that were wrapped in plastic have come out very, very well, but we have a layer of mold-type items on the outside of all the paper and cardboard. But again, I would say about 80% of the people are going to be able to get their items back, and 20% are going to be disappointed,' Davisson said. Stephanie Fisher, who is not related to Trish, traveled from Colorado with her parents to retrieve their artifact, a cassette tape that contains voice messages from members of her family. 'My parents didn't think that they would be here 50 years later to retrieve it with us. So it's pretty special to know that their voices [are] in there that I haven't heard in a long time,' Fisher said, filled with emotion. Chris Galen made the journey from Virginia. 'I made a mental note that in 50 years if I was still alive — because I'd be in my 60s then — I would want to come back here and be part of the opening,' he told NBC News. Despite the thousands of letters that need to be sorted, Galen was able to find one from his mother. 'I hope you had a good education, a happy and successful life, rich in many ways,' he read from the letter. 'I'm hoping as she's looking down on us from somewhere that I can report back to her that a lot of the things she wanted for me and for my brother came true,' Galen said. Clark Kolterman, who was there in 1975, put his wedding invitation in the capsule. 'I can't believe they found it,' he said, surrounded by his children. 'I have to thank Mr. Davisson for his insight. And you know, his idea wasn't perfect, but it worked, and as a result it's been very successful,' Kolternman said. Trish said she believes her father would be very proud of Friday's celebration and that she's learned a lot in the 50 years since the capsule was sealed. 'Life is too short. You're going to hit an age where you want more time and you know you don't have it,' she said. She said she plans on creating a permanent display for the capsule to help future generations remember the year 1975. Galen said the message goes deeper than artifacts. 'It's not about what's inside of it. It's about what's inside of us and who we were back in '75, and who we are today,' he said.

Republican Marian Price issues legal proceedings against Disney+ over Say Nothing series

Veteran republican Marian Price is taking legal action against the streaming company Disney+ for defamation over the Troubles series Say Nothing. Broadcast last year, the drama depicted Price, as being involved in the murder of Jean McConville – a claim her solicitors previously said was 'not based on a single iota of evidence'. The widowed mother-of-10 was abducted from her Belfast home, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA in 1972. Her body was eventually found at Shelling Hill beach in Co Louth in 2003. Following the airing of Say Nothing, Price was approached for comment by the Sunday Life but refused to answer any questions. Now solicitors acting on her behalf have said that formal legal proceedings have been issued against Walt Disney and Minim Productions Limited following what they branded 'egregious and defamatory allegations levelled at our client in the 'Say Nothing' series'. Both entities have failed to take steps to rectify their actions, causing 'continuing and untold damage and harm to our client', a statement from Phoenix Law added. Solicitor Victoria Haddock said: 'Our client should not be placed in the position of having to take formal legal action to vindicate her reputation. 'Despite multiple opportunities to address the defamatory content of the 'Say Nothing' series, Disney and Minim Productions have failed to take any step to do so. 'There is no justification for making abhorrent accusations under the guise of entertainment and we will be seeking to hold all responsible parties to account.' Disney+ has been contacted for comment. Marian Price was convicted along with her sister Dolours Price for their part in the IRA car bomb attack on London's Old Bailey courts in 1973 in which one man died and more than 200 people were injured. In 2014 Marian Price was given a suspended sentence for aiding dissident republicans. She admitted providing a mobile phone used to admit responsibility for the Real IRA murders of two soldiers, Sapper Patrick Azimkar (21) and Sapper Mark Quinsey (23). The charge was connected to the attack on Massereene Army barracks in 2009.

Gerwyn Price reveals US Darts Masters 'pinch me' moment in New York

The Iceman and his family get stunning sight in New York Stunned Gerwyn Price reckons it's a pinch-me moment for him and his family to be up on Times Square billboards as he gets ready for the US Darts Masters. The Welsh star is amongst the PDC elite gunning for glory in New York as the World Series heads for the United States. ‌ Price savours being part of the darts action and says it's a special feeling to be with family as he appears at such a famous setting as Madison Square Gardens alongside the likes of Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen. ‌ He explained: 'I'm enjoying New York and ready to go. It's an iconic and a unique venue and for someone like myself from a little small village in Markham, an ex-rugby player who never really knew about darts 20 years ago, to be playing in one of these magnificent venues, it's a pinch me moment and it's nice to be involved in every time that they've been here as well. 'Me, my wife, my daughter and her boyfriend walking around and you see your face flash up, to be in Times Square and see that is definitely a pinch me moment. "Hopefully there's many more years to come where I'll be here in New York City and in every other part of the World Series events as well." Speaking to Online Darts, he added: "I'm not one who wants to go and watch, go sightseeing all the time, for me, once you've seen it once, that's enough, but my wife absolutely loves it out here, don't get me wrong, I love it out here, but, Vegas is a little bit better.' Price wants the crown in the States as he gears up for a strong end to the campaign and the hunt for another World title. He added: 'The back end of the year, usually when the Premier League's over, I find my best stuff. I think I need to start playing in more Pro Tours because that's probably what gets me sharp. ‌ 'I was a little bit gutted last year. It was a tournament I threw away. I'm back here again which is nice. It's great to have the invite and hopefully lift the trophy. 'I've won in every country just not in America. I'm playing well enough and enjoying my darts. I'm enjoying travelling so fingers crossed it all comes together. 'It's difficult throughout the Premier League trying to balance everything. I think going from the Premier League to ProTour events and Europeans. But I have been a lot more positive this year which has definitely helped. 'I just need to find my best form when the Premier League is behind us, so fingers crossed that is what will happen the rest of this week and the year. It is tough being in the Premier League. It has not been great to me the last couple of years. 'I've been a bit too down on myself when I have been travelling but this year, I am a lot more positive. Not just for myself but off the fans and everything which is good.'
