It would be silly *not* to buy this TikTok-famous $6 rollerball just to try out the oh-so-delicious scent for yourself.
1. Neutrogena's brand new Collagen Bank Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30, which is so good at its job that it is doing double duty as skin protection *and* skincare in one bottle. In other words, you can slather it on in the morning as a one-step reliable beauty routine and know that you're keeping your skin safe from day to day and helping brighten your complexion in the longterm. Bonus: This is so lightweight that it functions as a perfect base primer for makeup!
www.amazon.com
Note that the AAD recommends using at least SPF 30 and reapplying as needed for skin protection. You can read about sunscreen myths and facts from dermatologists for more information!
Promising review:"I've been using this for a few weeks now, and I'm thrilled with the results! This moisturizer is a gamechanger in my skincare routine. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without any greasy residue. What I love most is how it enhances my skin's natural glow and softness. The collagen boost helps firm and plump my skin, making it look and feel more youthful. It 's a fantastic base for makeup and keeps my skin looking fresh all day." — Gizem Atkan
Get it from Amazon for $19.97.
2. E.l.f.'s Hydrating Core Lip Shine in the "Ecstatic" shade, which reviewers say captures the same magic as " Black Honey," the $25 ~universal shade~ from Clinique that's blowing up on TikTok at a fraction of the price. It doesn't shift colors as magically as the other version, but it's a perfect, non-sticky "go-to" lip to stay hydrated all day long.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
I personally will live, breathe, and die by the magic of $25 "universal" Black Honey version — it lasts FOREVER and also functions as the perfect blush — but it sells out so often that I am also deeply relieved to know it has a cheap alternative in case of lip emergency!
Promising review: "I absolutely love this product. The dark color is perfectly sheer. It also adds the most beautiful color to your lips. I am a Clinique Black Honey lip fan, and this gives me the same look for a fraction of the cost. I love it and have multiple that I keep in various spots. Not sticky either, which is my biggest gripe about lip glosses. My hair doesn't get stuck in this like some glosses, but I get the shine." — Hamps5
Get it from Amazon for $6 (also available in six other shades).
3. It lathers beautifully and has a lovely, light fragrance that isn't overpowering. After just a few uses, I noticed my skin looked more radiant and felt deeply moisturized. The addition of serums in the body wash is a game-changer my skin feels nourished, and I no longer need to apply lotion right after showering. 8. E.l.f's Lash XTNDR Tubing Mascara, a GODSEND for anyone with thin or fragile lashes. This uses lightweight ~tubing~ technology to wrap around lashes and give them a natural-looking, smudge-proof extension so good it almost looks fake. The real boon, though, is how easily the "tubes" slide off in clean, easy swipes at the end of the day when you're washing your face — absolutely no smudging, over-scrubbing, or special eye makeup removal products required.
Check out a TikTok of the E.l.f. tubing mascara in action.
I am not a new human to the tubing mascara game, and in fact readily spent $26 on the famous OG blend from Blinc every time it needed replacing. I didn't even love it for the length half as much as the fact that tubing mascara like this genuinely never smudges, but can I just say — regardless of price, the E.l.f. tubing mascara formula blows all the others I've tried out of the water. It gives me way more length and volume than other brands, slides on so much more easily, stays put ALL day, and never, ever smudges. My favorite part, though, is how gently and easily it comes off with soap and water. In the past, other mascara removals have felt rough on my lashes, but this comes off so fast that I'm like ??? was I even wearing mascara a minute ago?? Anyway, I hesitate even writing this review because I want to gatekeep the hell out of this before it sells out, but the world needed to know. I'm a big fan of the brown shade (which is what I'm wearing above!), but it also comes in black and soft black.
Get it from Amazon for $7 (available in three shades).
9. An airtight Deli ProKeeper so beloved that it's gone viral on FridgeTok (if you know, you KNOW). Not only does this free up space and clutter in the fridge, but it keeps deli meat and cheese so fresh that you'll actually get your darn money's worth by preventing waste.
www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I bought this because I have the outlandish idea that my refrigerator will look just like those on TikTok, but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it keeps my cold cuts fresher for much longer than expected. It's large enough to hold a pound or more of cold cuts or cheese, which is a bonus. The sealing technology is superb and strong. At one point, I almost could not open the container due to the seal being so air tight. Not only does this product look good in my fridge, but it is saving me money, so definitely a win-win from me." — IrishEyes
Get it from Amazon for $21.95 (available in three styles).
10. Deeptalk, a compact three-year prompted gratitude journal loaded with quick, gentle check-in prompts that won't overwhelm you like a lot of other journals. Promising review: "I'm a stay at home mom, and I've found myself in a slump lately not knowing much about me anymore. I REALLY love this book. Since the moment I've opened it, I've loved every thing about it. It has helped me actually sit down at night, and think (with the questions) when it comes to my life, and where I am in life right now. I love answering the questions, and being able to check off my mood for the day. I can't wait to see how much my life/mindset changes during the year. I also love that it's a hard cover book so I don't have to worry about it bending up in my purse." — Hope M.
Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in two colors).
11. A TikTok-beloved "Soft" perfume rollerball that honestly has no right smelling so delectable and layering so well considering it's only five cash dollars. Reviewers are obsessed with the scent's warm sweetness with a hint of citrusy zest, comparing it to waffle cones, lemon pound cake, and warm vanilla scones ... and this $65 bottle of Pink Sugar 👀.
Promising review: "Like so many, I found this scent on TikTok. I was a bit skeptical at first but finally got around to trying it. First off, this scent smells amazing! Almost every time I've worn it, I receive compliments. It has a sweet smell, almost like warm cake or sugar cookies with a hint of lemon. With such an affordable price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone curious about trying it." — Chrissy

12. MagicMinerals AirBrush Foundation, which lives up to its name and THEN some — one quick spray of the foundation on the included brush, and it glides so smoothly and subtly over your skin texture that you'll feel like a makeup artist did it for you. Reviewers in their thirties, forties, and up especially swear by this lightweight but effective formula, and love that it's ridiculously easy to use.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Jerome Alexander is a small business that specializes in airbrush cosmetic products.
HELLO — I found this through a recommendation on a Reddit beauty forum for people in their thirties, and I am OBSESSED. I am not very skilled with makeup and was intimidated by the brush factor, but it's nearly foolproof. This foundation straight-up glosses over my pores and redness and makes my skin look so even-toned and natural that it doesn't look like I used much foundation at all. It's a bit price-y compared to brands I used in the past, but I'm still on my first bottle of it, and it's been three full months. I hope this never stops getting made. It is so lightweight and lovely and has made my makeup routine feel like a TREAT.
Promising review: "Bought this because I saw it on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. I love the lightweight feel of it and how easy it is to build." — Smickens
Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in 12 shades).

www.amazon.com
Check out a TikTok of Murdle in action.
The best part?? Once you finish "Murdling," you can use your sleuthing skills on Volume 2, Volume 3, and a whole BUNCH of other themed Murdle books!
Promising review: "The puzzles are a lot of fun but the characters, story lines, and other details take the Murdle experience to another level. I have no idea how the author came up with all of this creativeness! You can Murdle solo or with friends. I look forward to future volumes but this one will keep me busy for awhile!" — Liz Gately
Get it from Amazon for $10.25.
14. A set of delightfully ~~tingly~~ self-heating soothing foot masks made with Epsom salts, lavender, and peppermint perfect for anyone whose recent step count is "too many." Nothing like a lil' self-care on those aching feet to lift your spirits!
Check out a TikTok of the foot masks in action.
I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn't quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that, my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!
Promising review:"Very soothing. My husband and l used these on our European vacation, and they definitely felt good on our feet!" — KS2018

www.amazon.com

And according to Mayo Clinic, you should avoid redness-reducing drops if you're looking for dry eye relief.
Promising review:"I have a big spot of blood vessels in the inner corner of my left eye. I use the expensive lubricant eye drops for moisture — I've used Visine, Clear Eyes, you name it. No eye drop has made my eyes look this great. Only Lumify! I was soo happy when I looked in the mirror and saw some beauty in my eyes instead of darkness and redness." — Angela Leonard

A dimmable flexible clip-on mushroom light so versatile that it'll become your Emotional Support Shroom — this gizmo clips to desks, cribs, bedside tables, and computer monitors to give an ambient, soft glow that's easy on the eyeballs when you're trying to focus. (Also, it's just so darn precious??)
Reviewers especially love this lamp for small spaces, since it doesn't take up valuable surface area!
Promising review: "I love the way the light looks and the multiple colors, but honestly I love the flexibility of the neck. I can manipulate it to fit the function of what I am doing. I have used it as reading light and mood light by the bed. I had no problem reading my book at night. I have used it as a task light to do arts and crafts. More recently, I have used it at work and it now has a permanent spot at my desk. The light was a great value for the money for me." — Terese

This spray fixed not only the irritation but the stye went away as well. Any sort of blemish or acne is taken care of with this simple inexpensive spray. Great for after-sun care or workout redness. Everyone loves Tower 28's expensive SOS spray. The SOS spray contains hypochlorous acid, which is the exact same ingredient in the Briotech spray for much less money. It is easily sprayed on and easily wiped off. No extra residue. Comes with four blades and I say these blades are soft gentle, and yet get the job done. Not sure why no one ever thought of coming up with a hair identifier spray. Great value and smells like baby powder. Great quality." — Karine

26. A pair of ~dreamlux~ leggings made with an oh-so-buttery soft material reviewers compare to Lululemon's Align ... but WAY cheaper. If you're looking for a reliably squatproof, comfy, compressive legging, look no further than these.
I bought these on Prime Day, which is the only day I will buy leggings because I hate wearing leggings with a burning passion. My "I'm not like other girls" bit is that for some reason I am always comfier in jeans than leggings. BUT NOT THESE!!! They slide on. The fabric is so lightweight and breathable that it feels like a whisper. The band is so deceptively comfortable that sometimes I'm like, "Am I still wearing them??" I use them to run outdoors because that is the only circumstance I'll wear leggings, and I'm happy to report after several washes, they are durable and compressive enough to withstand workouts. They would be excellent for lounging if I weren't wired in this odd anti-legging way. I have already bought two more pairs and made my friends buy them, too.
Promising review:"Super comfy. I usually don't write reviews, I tried this first before buying Lulu, and these are the most comfortable leggings for every day and even for workouts. Highly recommended!" — Criselle Johnson

Mountain Hiker, 26, Develops 'Weird Cough'—Then Comes Shock Diagnosis
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A keen mountain climber thought he was just feeling under the weather when he developed a strange cough last year. But when he started to cough up blood, that's what changed his life forever. In the summer of 2024, Bohdan Suprun became increasingly fatigued, but as he was just 26 years old and felt fine otherwise, he didn't think much of it. He'd started hiking in the mountains in Switzerland, noting that his "lungs were performing well" throughout those challenges. But by late August, Suprun, now 27, told Newsweek that he developed a "weird cough that wouldn't go away" and a low-grade fever. The longer that continued, Suprun started to notice chest pains and severe night sweats that caused him to wake up completely drenched. "I thought it was weird since I didn't have any other typical flu-like symptoms. There was no running nose and not even a sore throat," Suprun said. Bohdan Suprun before his diagnosis, pictured snowboarding and hiking. Bohdan Suprun before his diagnosis, pictured snowboarding and hiking. @praesidens / TikTok Soon enough, he started to cough up blood, which felt "serious and disturbing." Something was clearly wrong, and it wasn't just a simple cough. He scheduled a doctor's appointment and went for a blood test to find out what could be causing his mystery illness. The results showed shockingly high levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), a protein made by the liver. His CRP level wasn't just slightly higher than normal, but "multiple times above the threshold." High CRP can be a sign of inflammation, possibly due to a serious infection or chronic disease. As a result, doctors believed that Suprun could have pneumonia, so they prescribed him antibiotics to fight it off. "Initially, the doctor prescribed antibiotics for one week, but the symptoms were getting worse, so I scheduled another appointment," Suprun said. "I thought it was strange because I regularly went up the mountain nearby. So randomly getting pneumonia was just weird." Deep down, Suprun knew it wasn't just an infection, and he returned to the doctors to push for answers. He was still coughing up blood and he lost around 22 pounds in just a matter of weeks, so he had an X-ray to get a better look at his chest. In that moment, Suprun recalls how his doctor's face changed instantly, before he uttered the words: "We have very bad news for you." Bohdan Suprun after being diagnosed with cancer in 2024. Bohdan Suprun after being diagnosed with cancer in 2024. @praesidens / TikTok The X-ray showed a mass on his lung, so Suprun was given two possible scenarios: lung cancer, or tuberculosis. "The probability of those outcomes was very low because I don't smoke and I'm still young. So, they scheduled a CT with contrast for that same day, and the contrast revealed the lung tumor and multiple affected lymph nodes in the lungs," Suprun continued. "The tumor board suggested it was something infectious rather than cancerous, so they kept treating me with antibiotics for another month or so. I told them a few times that it didn't help, and the symptoms didn't improve." He just felt worse and worse as the days passed by. Once it was clear that the antibiotics weren't working, he was taken for another CT scan. To their horror, doctors saw that the tumor had grown aggressively. By then, it was 7x6 centimeters in size, and a biopsy was the only way to find out the real diagnosis. In the end, it wasn't pneumonia or tuberculosis—it was in fact Hodgkin's lymphoma. The stage 4 cancer had spread outside Suprun's lymphatic system and formed a tumor in his lung. He said: "I felt both shocked and relieved. Shocked because of the fact of the diagnosis, and relieved because I finally knew what it was after two months." Bohdan Suprun after undergoing chemotherapy to treat his cancer in 2024. Bohdan Suprun after undergoing chemotherapy to treat his cancer in 2024. @praesidens / TikTok Treatment needed to begin straight away, and Suprun has since undergone six grueling cycles of chemotherapy over a span of three months. Thankfully, the treatment appears to have worked, and recent scans have shown no trace of cancer. Although Suprun is still experiencing some lasting symptoms. He told Newsweek: "I still have some pain in the area where the tumor was located, but it's not too severe. My energy levels are not that high yet, and the worst is the polyneuropathy. The tips of my fingers are numb, and my toes are also numb." As he faces his road to recovery, Suprun has been sharing his experience on TikTok (@praesidens) to educate and inspire others. There were so many times that he felt uncertain about what was going on with his body, and times when he felt alone on this journey. Now he hopes to prevent others from feeling that way too. He's been amazed by the online response, with one post detailing "the cough that changed everything" going viral with over 388,400 views and 23,600 likes at the time of writing. Being diagnosed with cancer at 26 was an intensely difficult challenge, but he's so relieved to have pushed through and to raise awareness. Looking back now, it amazes him to think of what he went through when the symptoms started. He often reflects and wishes it was just a case of the flu after all. Suprun said: "I am happy to survive this, but there are so many other people affected by cancer. So many of life's problems are not problems anymore when you are getting chemo in a hospital bed and fighting for your life. I posted on TikTok after I received the news about being in remission, and the response was very positive." Is there a health issue that's worrying you? Parents Welcome Baby Boy, 3 Months Later Realize Something Is Wrong
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A woman has revisited the moment she began to suspect something wasn't right with her newborn son and the emotional journey that followed as she sought to find answers. Carli Cowie from Moray in Scotland, took to her TikTok account, Carlirose33, to share pictures of Noah from when he was born on November 3, 2018 and in the blissful days that followed. "The best day of my life," Cowie wrote alongside the images. "I couldn't stop staring at him. I couldn't believe this beautiful baby was ours. Our hearts were so full of love." By the time Noah's six-week check-up rolled around, everything seemed to be on track. "He was hitting milestones," Cowie said. But by 12 weeks, Cowie and her husband had started to notice "something wasn't right." Cowie told Newsweek: "He wasn't making eye contact with us, wasn't following toys and his eyes were wobbling." Carli first noticed an issue with Noah's eyes when he was just 12 weeks old. Carli first noticed an issue with Noah's eyes when he was just 12 weeks old. TikTok/carlirose33 They made an appointment for Noah to see their doctor, who then referred them on to an ophthalmologist. At this point, there were concerns Noah could have retinoblastoma, a rare type of cancer affecting the retina. Read more Woman remembers one thing dad "regretted"—30 years later she makes it right Woman remembers one thing dad "regretted"—30 years later she makes it right In order to find out if this was the case, doctors needed to dilate his pupils to check. All this time, Cowie and her husband were left facing an anxious wait for answers. "We were so worried and didn't know what the outcome was going to be," she said. She estimates it took three months from that initial doctor's appointment, for them to get an understanding of Noah's condition. Doctors suspected Noah had been born with optic nerve hypoplasia, meaning his optic nerves were under-developed. The "wobbling" movement his eyes made was also thought to be a result of nystagmus, an involuntary eye movement condition that further reduces or limits vision. A delayed MRI scan eventually confirmed the heartbreaking diagnosis: Noah was blind. His parents were left in shock at the news. "We were devastated and in disbelief that this was happening to our baby," Cowie said. "We initially thought it wouldn't be something as serious as what it was, we thought he'd maybe need glasses or something along those lines." Though Cowie was rocked by the news, she managed to stay strong, with the support of her husband and family, knowing it was important to maintain a happy household for Noah's sake. "I didn't want Noah to pick up if we were upset so I always tried to be in high spirits for him," she said. "Although he was blind I kept reminding myself that he was healthy and we were grateful for that." Noah underwent regular check-ups in the years that followed with doctors careful to monitor that his weight and height was within the normal range. "If the tests weren't in normal range he would have been put on growth hormone injections until he was 18," Cowie said. Thankfully, for Noah, that wasn't needed and by the time he turned 4, he was fully discharged and ready to his way as a blind child out in the world. He's not alone in that respect. In the U.S., the CDC estimates nearly 3 percent of children under the age of 18 have blindness or vision impairment. Noah Cowie is 6 and thriving now. Noah Cowie is 6 and thriving now. TikTok/carlirose33 It's a life that comes with its own unique challenges for his mom and dad. "One of the biggest I would say is his safety and making sure there is nothing in his way or lying out for him to trip over or bump into," Cowie said. But it is one that Noah, now 6, is thriving in, with a little help from mom, dad and his two-year-old sister Ocean. "He's doing really well. Noah is always keen to try new things and we are amazed with how well he gets on," Callie said. "He's a clever boy and enjoys learning. He's at the early stages of learning braille and learning to use his cane with support." Callie's TikTok video, chronicling their journey with Noah went viral, amassing over 640,000 views since being posted earlier this month. She's incredibly proud of her son and hopes this video and others like it help any families who may be going through similar situations with a young child. Noah's story isn't one of heartbreak, it's one of hope. "I wanted to show everyone how amazing he is," Callie said. "Being blind hasn't stopped him from doing anything."
