Tommy Robinson appears at Southwark Crown Court and denies harassment causing fear of violence against two Mail journalists

Daily Mail03-07-2025
Tommy Robinson today appeared at Southwark Crown Court to face charges of harassment causing fear of violence against two Mail journalists.
He allegedly told one of them 'I'm coming to get you' and posted images of his home.
The activist pleaded not guilty ahead of his trial by jury which was set for October 2026.
Robinson entered the dock shortly after 10.15am for the 14-minute trial preparation hearing. Wearing an open-necked white shirt and blue-checked waistcoat, he confirmed his real name of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and his date of birth.
Robinson, 42, is charged with two offences between August 5 and 7 last year. A clerk read out the details of the charges, including allegations that Robinson phoned one of the journalists on August 5 and said: 'I'm coming to get you.'
He also allegedly sent direct messages on X, formerly Twitter, to the other journalist saying: 'Got your address' and 'I'll be knocking at your door' and 'We need to talk'.
Robinson's actions caused both journalists to 'to fear violence would be used against them', the court heard.
Ben Holt, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said at a previous hearing the charges related to alleged multiple posts by Robinson about the journalists on X and calls, over three days, following a news report in the Mail making various allegations about Robinson on August 4 last year.
Today at Southwark Crown Court, the clerk read out some of the tweets posted last August which she said included Robinson's accusations the journalists had endangered his children.
He is alleged to have posted edited images of a journalist's wife, daughter and the outside of his home saying: 'You will all be questioned on camera about how you think endangering children is ok.'
On August 5, he posted: 'I'll have every bit of information on the journalists who wrote these lies & endangered & caused fear to my children. This is not acceptable behaviour; it's intimidation by a corrupt & morally bankrupt media.'
The charges say he messaged one of the journalists saying: 'Let your bosses know I'm coming to all your houses.'
After the clerk read out the charges, Robinson replied 'not guilty' to both of them.
At the previous hearing, the prosecutor said: 'None of the posts contained direct threats of violence. The prosecution's case is premised on the conduct of this defendant and others that has caused them to fear violence and the defendant knew or ought to have known that was the case.'
Today Judge Tony Baumgartner, the Recorder of Westminster, said Robinson's trial would take place on October 19, 2026. A pre-trial review hearing will take place on October 5, 2026.
The judge said Robinson would remain on conditional bail until his trial. Robinson is on bail with three conditions. He must not contact any prosecution witness directly or indirectly and must not post anything online which would identify them.
The third condition states he is 'not to publish any comment relating to current proceedings that may prejudice either parties to proceedings or proceedings themselves other than those permitted by the Crime and Disorder Act'.
Enhanced security measures were in place for the hearing with members of the public searched and asked to hand in their phones at the door to the courtroom.
Twenty of Mr Robinson's supporters attended court while three security staff stood at the door to the courtroom.

Balaclava-clad gang murdered tourist, 27, after following him home from London nightclub in ‘botched bag robbery'

A GANG wearing balaclavas murdered a tourist after following him home from a London nightclub in a botched bag robbery. The 27-year-old man was visiting from Greece and on a night out with friends before he was followed for eight miles and brutally robbed and knifed to death. 2 Five men have now been found guilty of murder following the botched robbery. Antonis Antoniadis, 27, had gone to a nightclub near Oxford Circus with friends in the early hours of July 7 last year before he was robbed and knifed to death. They left the club at around 8.15am and caught a taxi back to Florence Terrace, New Cross, where they were staying with a friend. What they didn't know was that they were being followed by a gang who had spent several hours in central London in a stolen car. They followed Antonis and his friends for eight miles and more than 30 minutes back to New Cross. As Antonis and his friends were attempting to get into their address, Sofian Alliche, Shian Johnson, Joshua McCorquodale, and Alfie Hipple exited the vehicle. The other, Amin Alliche, who was 17 years old at the time, remained in the driver's seat of the car. The group of four, all wearing balaclavas and armed with large knives, grabbed Antonis' bag before they stabbed him in the chest and right thigh. The wound to Antonis' leg severed his femoral artery causing catastrophic blood loss. He initially survived the attack and fought for his life in hospital for two weeks before passing away on Sunday, July 21 last year. Human remains in remote house identified as man missing for 6 years after two arrested over 'murder' The four men in balaclavas then returned to their car with Antonis' mobile phone. Amin Alliche then drove them across the Thames to Northwest London where they sold the device. After returning to their "home turf" in Camden, they hid the stolen vehicle under a car cover. There was no CCTV of the attack but after a gruelling investigation, the police tracked the gang's movements and recovered the stolen car which ultimately proved they were responsible for killing Antonis. Several of their addresses were searched during the investigation where a number of weapons were seized. A zombie knife, five machetes, two swords, two lock knives and seven other knives were found. Amin Alliche,18, Sofian Alliche, 20, both of Bury Place, Holborn, Shian Johnson, 26, of Argyle Walk, King's Cross, Joshua McCorquodale, 20, of Upper Park Road, Chalk Farm, and Alfie Hipple, 18, of Kentish Town Road, Camden, were all found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery following an eight-week trial at the Old Bailey. They will be sentenced at the same court on Friday, October 3. Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn, Specialist Crime South, said: 'Antonis had been visiting from Greece with friends. Very tragically he never made it home to his family. "This was a particularly challenging and complex case given the lack of CCTV at the scene and the movement of the vehicle, which had been driven by the defendants continuously throughout the night of 6 July and into the following afternoon. 'I would like to thank in particular Antonis' friends, who had witnessed his brutal murder and returned to the UK to give their evidence. "I would also like to thank the witnesses' who came forward and helped us to understand what had happened to Antonis. I am pleased our concerted efforts to find those responsible has enabled us to achieve justice for Antonis' loved ones, family, and friends.'

Prince Harry left Andrew with a ‘bloody nose' & branded him ‘coward' in furious punch-up, bombshell book claims

PRINCE Harry gave Andrew a "bloody nose" and branded him a "coward", a bombshell book claimed. The royals allegedly became embroiled in a punch up at a family party over comments the disgraced Duke made about Harry. 4 4 The shocking claims arose in 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', which Andrew reportedly tried to block. He supposedly warned contacts not to cooperate and urged the Foreign Office to discourage diplomats from speaking. Despite legal threats, the exposé has gone to print — leaving Andrew once again at the centre of a storm of sleaze and scandal. An insider alleged the 65-year-old made rude remarks behind Harry's back. The Duke of Sussex reportedly dubbed his uncle a coward and left him with a bloodied nose before the pair were separated. The shocking scenes unfolded at a gathering in 2013, the book claimed. And this was not the only altercation that unravelled between the family members, sources alleged. Andrew also supposedly disapproved of his nephews nuptials with Meghan Markle - and said the union wouldn't last more than a month. The disgraced Duke called Harry "bonkers" and said the marriage would be the worst mistake of his life, according to sources. Meghan was too old for her fiance and trying to take advantage, Andrew allegedly announced. The Sun contacted the Duke of Sussex's team for comment. Andrew was also branded a 'serial sex addict' in the book - with Jeffrey Epstein reportedly claiming the Duke of York was even kinkier than him. According to the Daily Mail, late paedophile financier Epstein is quoted in the book as saying: 'We are both serial sex addicts. 'From the reports I've got back from the women we've shared, he's the most perverted animal in the bedroom. 'He likes to engage in stuff that's even kinky to me – and I'm the king of kink!' The explosive revelations come alongside fresh allegations about Andrew's conduct on royal tours. A Reuters correspondent reported that, during the King of Thailand's diamond jubilee celebrations in 2006, more than 40 women were taken to Andrew's Bangkok hotel room. 'Often, as soon as one left, another would arrive,' the reporter said. Hotel staff were reportedly stunned that 'more than 10 a day' were going to the Duke's suite. The exposé portrays the 65-year-old royal as a man consumed by sex, with claims from an investigative journalist that he has bedded over a thousand women, ranging from porn stars and actresses to palace staff and bartenders. It comes as a top lawyer warned that Andrew may not be in the clear despite the FBI dropping its probe into his ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Spencer Kuvin, who has represented five of Epstein's alleged victims, said the Duke still has reason to worry after six years of avoiding travel abroad for fear of arrest. 'I still don't think Andrew can sleep soundly,' Mr Kuvin said. 'With the quick change of administration or new leadership at the Department of Justice, the investigation could be reopened or continued. 'Andrew needs to visit the US to answer questions from the FBI. Avoiding this merely makes people think he's guilty.' Andrew has always denied claims by Virginia Giuffre that he abused her when she was 17, insisting he never saw or suspected Epstein's crimes. Giuffre died in Australia in April at the age of 41. 4
