OREM, Utah () — Seventeen-year-old Noah Scribner , and on Thursday, the community came to remember him.
Scribner's friends mourned his loss at a candlelight vigil in Orem.
'You get that phone call that your buddy crashed, and your first hope is that he made it to the hospital at the bare minimum and say hi, and hearing that he didn't make it is heartbreaking and devastating,' Ethan Smith said.

Alan Dershowitz also said the convicted sex trafficker should be granted immunity to speak about her relationship with Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein's former lawyer thinks Ghislaine Maxwell should have her 20-year prison sentence commuted—and be given immunity to testify before Congress about the late financier. 'Ghislaine Maxwell is basically serving the sentence that Epstein would have gotten,' lawyer Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax's Sunday Agenda on Sunday. 'She should never be in jail for 20 years. What should happen is, she should be free,' Dershowitz continued. 'She should have her sentence commuted. She should then be called in front of Congress. Have Congress give her total immunity, and then she can tell everything she knows.'

Six injured in Dallas chain reaction crash and the suspected driver is in critical condition, police say

Six people are injured and the suspected driver is in critical condition after a crash Saturday night in Dallas, police said. Just before 11 p.m., police were called to an area near north Tyler Street and west Davis Street. The initial investigation has revealed that the suspected driver crashed into a vhicle that was stopped at a stoplight. Dallas police said that caused a chain reaction crash into two other vehicles at the stoplight. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were called to the scene and took seven victims to the hospital. Six victims were listed in stable condition, and the suspected driver was listed in critical condition, according to the Dallas Police Department. Police have not yet said what led up to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

Republicans and Democrats Call for More Information on Epstein Case

Days after the Justice Department asked a federal judge to unseal grand jury testimony related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, Republicans and Democrats suggested on Sunday that the move was insufficient and called for the release of more information. 'I think it's a good start,' Representative Tim Burchett, Republican of Tennessee, said in an interview on CNN. But he still wanted to see as many files as possible released, he added later. President Trump has been contending with fierce criticism from some of his supporters over his administration's handling of materials related to the sex trafficking investigations of Mr. Epstein and his connections to rich and powerful figures on the left and right. Mr. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while in federal prison awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. Mr. Trump and many of his allies vowed to release a trove of files in the case, including a so-called 'client list' that many involved in the case insist never existed. But the release of some documents earlier this year offered no new revelations. And the Justice Department said this month that it had closed the case and would not release more documents, concluding that there was no client list. One of Mr. Epstein's former lawyers, Alan Dershowitz, said in an interview on 'Fox News Sunday' that the grand jury testimony was unlikely to contain the information that has most interested Mr. Trump's supporters. Mr. Trump has encouraged his base to move on. But the backlash seemed to be on his mind on Sunday morning, when he accused 'Radical Left Democrats' of exposing the 'Jeffrey Epstein Hoax.'
