TORONTO — Porter Airlines is launching a new summer seasonal route between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM), with flights beginning today through September.

The service operates three times weekly, using Porter's Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. This marks the first time the state-of-the-art aircraft is operating in Moncton, bringing passengers the comfort of no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, and free, fast WiFi for everyone.

This new route complements Porter's existing service from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Ottawa to Moncton, further enhancing travel options between Eastern Canada and the airline's expanding network.

For added comfort, travellers can book PorterReserve fares for all-inclusive perks such as two checked bags, extra legroom, and priority services. Alternatively, PorterClassic offers the flexibility to customize the journey with à la carte options.

Tourists filling the streets of the city with big plans for the weekend. 'We came from Sudbury, and this is our first time in Ottawa. We are here at the Parliament and then we will visit Notre Dame Basilica tomorrow,' says Samushika, visiting Ottawa with family. 'Visiting the Parliament and visiting all the big famous places in Ottawa because we're from P.E.I.,' says Claudine Macalindr. 'So, we're just looking to see what else Ottawa has the offer.' The Paris family is visiting from Mexico to support a relative that is participating in the Ironman Canada-Ottawa triathlon. They are using the opportunity to tour the Capital. 'We saw the changing of the guard. We're going to the Parliament today,' said the Paris family. Parliament Hill Tourists visit Parliament Hill on Saturday. 'A fantastic opportunity to come out, visit us, have a really good time and spend at least a part of your long weekend jumping and having fun,' says Darren Hales, tour manager with Big Bounce Canada. It's the world's largest inflatable theme park and world's largest bounce house. It holds a Guinness World Record. With a range of super oversize inflatables and has North America's longest obstacle course. They said since they missed the one in Markham, they decided to use the long weekend to drive to Ottawa to experience it. 'We're looking forward to seeing who can win. The obstacle course is going to be a lot of fun. We're going to take a race through there, see who can make it through the fastest,' says Adam Emery. 'We're going to meet up with my brother after this and go to one of the museums in the in the downtown core,' says Adam.
