Amazon knocks up to 40% off Lovehoney's best-selling toys for Prime Day

Dublin Live5 days ago
Amazon bargain hunters are going wild for some saucy deals as Lovehoney slashes prices on its top-selling adult toys.
One of the brand's most buzzed-about innovations, Pleasure Air Technology, is causing quite a stir with price cuts across a range of gadgets. This tech is famed for delivering a 'sucking' sensation and has been met with stellar feedback.
The Womanizer Starlet is the collection's most wallet-friendly piece, usually €49, but now it's down to just €31.85 with a 35% discount. Although it's the cheapest option with only four intensity levels, customers are over the moon, claiming it's a game-changer.

A particularly ecstatic review reads: "This toy (too slight a term) has changed my life. I am in my 50s, and a friend recommended the Womanizer. It's not just another vibrator - it's a whole different level of experience."
For those willing to splash out a bit more, the Womanizer Pro40 remains a firm favourite among Lovehoney staff. Now reduced to €79.20 from €99, this advanced model boasts six intensity modes, reports the Irish Mirror.
With thousands of positive reviews, it's no shock that users are raving about it, with one saying: "Best orgasms I've had by far without another human involved. It's hard to tell exactly what it's doing and why it feels amazing, which is a bit weird at first, but I got over it quickly."
The Womanizer Next 3D, which provides depth control for the sucking sensation, has also seen a price drop, with a 20% discount reducing it to €167. Despite the Womanizer range's popularity, customers have noted that they require a two-handed operation, leading some adventure seekers to prefer alternatives like the Lovehoney Jessica Rabbit Vibrator, now reduced by 30% to €27.99, or the We-Vibe Tango X Bullet, now priced at €71.20.
Lelo offers similar toys in their collection, such as the Sona 2 and Dot, currently discounted in LookFantastic's latest sale. Boots also boasts a vast selection of toys on their website, catering to both men and women, including the €24.99 Arcwave Ghost Stroker or the €139.99 Tor 2 from Lelo.
However, they're not the only brand offering rings. The We-Vibe Bond Wearable Ring, controllable via app and remote control, has been slashed by 40% on Amazon, bringing its price down from €129 to €77.40.
Lovehoney's toy cleaners and lubricants are also currently discounted on Amazon. The full range of sale items can be found here.

My side hustle is so good it pays my mortgage EVERY month – if you shopped on Amazon Prime Day you need to hear about it

A WOMAN has claimed she made £18,000 in 12 months working just ONE hour a week thanks to her Amazon side hustle. Renata Rabuha, from the US, revealed how she uploads 30-60 second videos of the items she has bought from Amazon at home. 3 Renata Rabuha claimed that she pays her mortgage by the Amazon Influencer Program Credit: TikTok / @renatarabuha Hailing it as the 'easy side hustle no one is talking about', she said it's particularly perfect if you've snapped up numerous items on Prime Day. In a clip on her review videos and make your money back. 'Doing this pays my mortgage every single month and I never post the reviews to social media." She explained how Amazon pays her for making product review videos - but not the ones you see under the regular reviews. Renata added: 'This is totally different. 'Amazon has a program that literally anybody can join. 'It's not an invite—you can apply for it. Literally anybody can do it, and there is a two-step approval process. 'But once you're in, it is so simple. Literally anybody can do it. I earn cash by selling 'actual rubbish' on eBay - I flogged a freebie I found on the floor by a bin for £10, it's crazy Whenever somebody clicks on your video and watches it, you do get a commission. 'Last year, I made over $24,000 literally reviewing the stuff that I already had at home.' HOW SHE DOES IT Renata makes cash through the Amazon Influencer Program. This allows content creators to earn commissions by posting video reviews, unboxings and how-to clips. These videos appear directly on Amazon product listings, and if someone watches your video and makes a purchase, you earn a cut. Anyone can apply, and no invite is required, and you get paid per qualifying purchase, not just views. It's different from regular Amazon reviews you see, as the influencers get paid for their videos. To qualify, you typically need an active social media account (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook) and a moderate following, but no huge audience required. 3 She claims she made £18,000 in 12 months working just ONE hour a week thanks to her Amazon side hustle Credit: TikTok / @renatarabuha You need to be producing 'quality, authentic content' on your page. The two-step verification process includes checking that you're a real content creator with an active presence and real engagement. If you pass the first step, you'll be asked to submit 3 sample videos reviewing items. Once approved, you'll get access to your own Amazon storefront and be able to post videos that appear on actual product listings. From there, you can start earning commissions on qualifying purchases from viewers who watch your videos. 3 UK influencers can recommend products to your audience, and then earn a commission Credit: Getty IS IT IN THE UK? The Amazon Influencer Program is available in the UK - but it is slightly different. You first need to apply via and create a storefront. Once this is done, you can create content and recommend products to your audience, and then earn a commission. The website states: 'There are multiple ways you can earn. 'You can monetise your social media content by sharing your storefront URL or through affiliate links. 'We may also surface the content you have posted to your storefront to Amazon shoppers, allowing you to gain more followers and earn from new customers.' To reliably publish shoppable videos and earn commissions, most UK creators join via the US program, using products that are also listed on Do I need to pay tax on my side hustle income? MANY people feeling strapped for cash are boosting their bank balance with a side hustle. The good news is, there are plenty of simple ways to earn some additional income - but you need to know the rules. When you're employed the company you work for takes the tax from your earnings and pays HMRC so you don't have to. But anyone earning extra cash, for example from selling things online or dog walking, may have to do it themselves. Stephen Moor, head of employment at law firm Ashfords, said: "Caution should be taken if you're earning an additional income, as this is likely to be taxable. "The side hustle could be treated as taxable trading income, which can include providing services or selling products." You can make a gross income of up to £1,000 a year tax-free via the trading allowance, but over this and you'll usually need to pay tax. Stephen added: "You need to register for a self-assessment at HMRC to ensure you are paying the correct amount of tax. "The applicable tax bands and the amount of tax you need to pay will depend on your income." If you fail to file a tax return you could end up with a surprise bill from HMRC later on asking you to pay the tax you owe - plus extra fees on top.

What do you get the woman who has everything? A ratty-tatty EIGHT MILLION EURO Birkin bag of course

It's a question that has bamboozled men for centuries. What do you get the woman in your life who has everything? But even the world's richest man, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, seems to have been defeated in getting his new-wife Lauren Sanchez her heart's desire – as he was reportedly outbid on acquiring the original Birkin bag which was sold at auction this week. Designed in 1984 for actress Jane Birkin, the original Hermes Birkin Bag, sold in Paris on Friday for a record €8.6 million, making it officially the most expensive handbag ever sold. The original Birkin bag has sold at auction. Pic:The sale happened during Sotheby's Fashion Icons auction, with the iconic auction house dubbing the arm candy the 'Mona Lisa' of handbags. The coveted luxury item was being eyed by none other than the newly married Lauren Sánchez Bezos, and Kris Jenner, the minted matriarch of the Kardashian dynasty, who herself has a dedicated Hermes closet reputed to be worth half-a-million dollars. Mrs Jenner was believed to be phone bidding for the holy grail of handbags. But, alas, despite being two of the richest women on the planet, Sanchez and Jenner were outbid in the 'battle of the bags'. The bag was sold for millions at auction for €7million — but the winner had to pay a further €1.6million in taxes. Pic:According to the Instagram account @stylenotcom, the bag went to an enthusiastic Japanese collector who emerged winner after a 13-minute battle of the bag. While it sold for €7 million, the buyer had to pay no less than the final price of the black Birkin which totted up to a whopping $10 million, including taxes. What makes Jane Birkin's very own handbag so special is that Hermès built a one-off in black Box calf, branded 'J.B.' under the lock. The bag sold for the insane amount earlier this week. Pic:Jane Birkin was the epitome of Parisian chic, and in her time she was regarded as one of the most stylish women of all time. Birkin's look of 'French girl chic'– white shirts, boyfriend jeans and ballet pumps – is as influential now as it ever was. And as for her original Birkin, it was as stylsih as Jane herself and she used her Birkin in a rather carefree fashion, often festooning her bag with stickers and other funky accessories.
