‘America's best restaurant' is coming to London for an exclusive pop-up
Ranked at number 12 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list – the highest placement for any north American eatery in the ranking – Atomix will be teaming up with Marylebone's Kol (which currently sits at 49 in the list) for two seatings of an eight-course menu on August 19. It will cost £250 per person.
Manhattan's two Michelin star Atomix is run by Ellia and Junghyun Park, and it's Seoul-born chef Junghyun who will be joining Kol's Santiago Lastra in the kitchen for the special menu. Atomix was praised as the 'ultimate gastronomic manifestation of the K-wave phenomenon' and 'Korean dining at its very finest' with 'dishes grounded in heritage, but distinct and innovative,' by the World's 50 Best organisers.
Earlier this year it was revealed that manager Ellia and Junghyun Park will be opening their first London restaurant in Mayfair in 2026. Named 'Kiji', the Korean BBQ restaurant will reportedly 'take diners on an unmatched culinary journey'.
Atomix – which is the follow up to Ellia and Junghyun Park's first Manhattan restaurant Atoboy – serves a 10 course tasting menu and offers 'new Korean cuisine'.
The restaurant says: 'Ato, stemming from the ancient Korean word for 'gift', is the innovative cuisine that husband and wife team – chef Junghyun and manager Ellia Park – hope to deliver to the world using New York City as their stage.
'Atomix, a follow-up to their well-loved firstborn Atoboy, is a place where guests can really dive deep into chef Park's cuisine through a tasting menu that is inspired by Korean traditions and technique.'

The doll hype has since reached a global scale, with footage showing an hours-long, snaking queue in Berlin. One video captures crowds desperate to get their hands on the viral furry figurines waiting in what initially looks to be a never-ending line. The queue extends all the way around a block, and just when you think it's over, it snakes down another street before stretching around another building. Some people are even seen sitting down or lounging up against the metal barriers, presumably because they had been waiting for a long period of time to get their hands on the dolls. The caption on the video jokes: "This ain't a concert... It's Labubu in Berlin." A brand new Pop Mart has just opened in the German city, attracting Labubu fans to the store. The Chinese toy company's popularity has soared, with the retailer even surpassing Russian energy giant Gazprom in market value. The fluffy Labubu figurines have large, toothy smiles and claw-like feet. Created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung, the vinyl figures are sold in £17.50 "blind boxes". And this appears to be part of the appeal, as fans have no idea which version they are getting - therefore making them a collectable. I found Labubus at my local Centra and now I have a huge collection CELEB APPEAL Former England footy captain David Beckham revealed that his daughter Harper, 13, had bought him one, showing off a snap of a rare 'secret' edition character. Kim Kardashian posted a shot of her collection, while former Love Island star Olivia went further by having a Labubu-themed birthday party. Rihanna was also pictured sporting one on a Louis Vuitton handbag in LA. The brand made its debut in 2015, but skyrocketed in global popularity after hitting Pop Mart shelves in 2019. The first three months of 2025 were wildly successful for the brand, with Brits searching high and low to nab one of the quirky figurines. Kanye West and Bianca Censori go viral yet again after Grammys afterparty video resurfaces
Kanye West and have gone viral again for their rollicking antics at a late-night afterparty. It happened in February during a Grammys event at which Bianca performed a karaoke version Adele's Rolling In The Deep. In the resurfaced video Kanye can be seen running his hands over Bianca's body as their tongues meet. SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO The video went viral this week as Bianca jetted into Seoul, wearing perhaps her most surprising look to date - a completely covered up-outfit. In a departure from her usual flesh-flashing attire, Bianca, 30, showed hardly a shred of skin as she touched down into the South Korean capital alongside her spouse, 48. She wore black leggings, furry leg warmers, and a taupe messenger cap. Kanye dressed similarly in all-black, opting for a zip-down sweatshirt, leather pants, and suede footwear. The couple's outing comes about a week after Censori appeared in scantily-clad photos, which were photographed by her rapper husband and shared to Instagram.

Wrestling and axe-throwing at Holywell's Party in the Park
Party in the Park took place yesterday (Saturday, July 26) between 11am and 4pm at both Fron Park and the adjacent Holywell Leisure Centre. The event drew huge crowds despite the drizzly weather at times, and was once again organised by Holywell Town Council, following the success of its debut event 12 months ago. Among those in attendance were the mayor and mayoress of Holywell, Matt Sprake and Fi Vaughan respectively. Meanwhile, outside, there were three wrestling shows (with meet and greets) from Basix Pro Wrestling for people to enjoy, as well as BMX bike and skateboarding coaching, and archery and axe-throwing sessions. People could also try their hand at a climbing wall and karaoke, while there was also an inflatable assault course and basketball, bushcraft, crown green bowling, community stalls, face painting, and glitter tattoos. Children were entitled to free lunch packs, while there were also ice cream, burger and coffee vans. North Wales Police were in attendance, with youngsters able to try on officers' uniform and sit inside a police car. Stalls were set up by the likes of St John Ambulance, Holywell-based Bethel Baptist Chapel, and Red Dragon Ventures, who gave people the chance to practise cardiopulmonary resuscitation training with a dummy, create nature-based artwork, build teddy dens, and toast marshmallows. Holywell mayor, Cllr Matt Sprake, tries his hand at axe-throwing at Party in the Park (Image: Submitted) Cllr Sprake said: "It was fantastic to see the community out in force for this weekend's Party in the Park, and a huge thanks goes to all the support staff, volunteers, fellow councillors, and the various vendors, from the food stalls to BMX bikers, from the climbing wall to those teaching bushcraft skills who helped make it such a brilliant day out for all ages. "It was certainly a change of pace from wielding the metaphorical axe in council meetings to having a go at actual axe throwing — though I'm not sure the mayor's consort was entirely convinced everyone was safe within range! "However it was the wrestlers who body-slammed their way to centre stage and stole the show, and a special thank you goes to Basix Wrestling for putting on an unforgettable performance for the children."
