The Best Sol De Janeiro Prime Day Deals

Buzz Feed10-07-2025
Okay, I'm sure you're aware that Amazon Prime Day is back and the deals are major. It's honestly a little overwhelming. Before you call your mom to pick you up because you're scared, allow me to point you in the direction of one of the best and rarest deals of the bunch: select Sol de Janeiro products are 20% off or more!
The drool-worthy Bum Bum Cream — you know, the product that started it all — is 20% off for the large size. This super creamy body moisturizer is a quadruple threat: it hydrates, helps provide a firm appearance to the skin, adds a subtle shimmer, and makes you smell like a delectable blend of pistachio, vanilla, and salted caramel.
Psst! Did you know it's actually pronounced like "boom boom"? That's "boom boom" as in "Boom Boom Pow is still a banger 16 years later." Also, its ability to firm the look of skin is due to the inclusion of caffeine! Caffeine has a number of skincare benefits, including brightening and temporarily reducing the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite, if that's something you're looking to do. You can read more about the skincare benefits of caffeine at the Cleveland Clinic.Promising review for Bum Bum Cream: "I am 60, and I could not get rid of the cellulite on my legs. I started using this product six weeks ago and can noticeably see a difference. I apply morning and evening, before bed for optimal results. It goes on smooth and has a creamy, nonsticky feel. The smell is dreamy, and even my husband has commented on the improvement. Make sure you apply in a circular motion for optimal coverage, absorption, and circulation." —Amazon CustomerPrice: $38.40 (originally $48)
The matching Cheirosa 62 hair and body fragrance mist is also 20% off, which I highly recommend for making the scent last all day long. Layer this on top of the cream and you'll be turning heads like Andy Sachs wearing the Chanel boots.
The Cheirosa '62 scent is one of my favorite fragrances of all time — it smells gourmand and gooey and delicious, yet also smells slightly tropical and fresh at the same time. It's basically the summertime fragrance in my opinion, so now is the time to stock up on the larger size.Promising reviews: "This smells amazing! For a body spray, it's so concentrated, and the smell is absolutely divine!!" —Alicia Lomas"This hasss to be the best smelling one! I need the biggest one neowww." —Nede ReybPrice: $30.40 (originally $38; available in six other scents)
Don't forget to pair it with the matching Brazilian Play body wash, which is, yes, 20% off! It smells just like Bum Bum Cream, and reviewers say the formula is super creamy and works up into a rich lather.
Promising review: "Smells like pure summer: vacation, beach, sunshine in a bottle. The scent is... like warm sand and tropical dreams. Leaves my skin soft, creamy, and pampered, like I just stepped out of a luxury spa. I'd bathe in this stuff forever if I could." —AlexPrice: $20.80 (originally $26)
More of a body oil person? The Bum Bum Firmeza Body Oil is 20% off too — it's everything you love about Bum Bum Cream, including the caffeine, in a lightweight oil formula that gives you a serious glow.
Promising review: "The best oil for extremely dry skin. It has a wonderful, rich scent and the bottle lasts quite a while. Very moisturizing and gives your skin a wonderful glow even after it has absorbed fully." —Dana CPrice: $41.60 (originally $52)
And we have to talk about the viral fragrance mist in the scent Cheirosa '68 (mmhmm, 20% off!) — its blend of hibiscus, jasmine, and sun musk might just remind you of Baccarat Rouge 540, but way less expensive. In fact, it's so much more affordable you can spray a few extra spritzes in your hair and not feel guilty about wasting it.
Yes, the matching body cream is 20% off, too!Promising review: "I finally received my new body spray yesterday and was in complete shock at the resemblance to Baccarat Rouge 540. This body spray is so delicious. It is definitely a Baccarat Rouge 540 [alternative]. There were so many reviews that said how much this body spray resembled the very pricey perfume, and they were all correct. I absolutely love Baccarat Rouge 540, but it's so expensive compared to other perfumes like Chanel, so I opt not to purchase it regularly. This body spray is a wonderful substitute for overpriced perfume. Today will be my first day wearing the spray, so hopefully, it has great longevity throughout the day as well. 🤞🏼 Regardless, I would still purchase it again moving forward." —TinaGet it from Amazon for $36.10 (also available in five other scents).
Prefer to smell like creamy caramel cookies? You can snag the *limited edition* Cheirosa '71 body cream for 20% off as well! This one has notes of toasted macadamia nut and caramelized vanilla, and the tucumã butter in the formula helps to lock in moisture.
Pair it with the matching on-sale body mist!Promising review: "I'm absolutely obsessed with this product. As soon as I saw it was a special edition, I bought five containers! It leaves my skin incredibly smooth, smells amazing, and has just the right amount of shimmer to give a healthy glow without looking overdone. I can't get enough of these products — highly recommend!" —Adriano L.Price: $34.80 (originally $48)
The Rio Radiance SPF 50 Spray is a whopping 40% off, which basically never happens. This is a rare chance to nab a high-quality sunscreen at its lowest price yet. Reviewers say it sprays evenly and sinks in super quickly — with no visible white cast! Oh, and it also smells like the most luxurious all-inclusive vacation of your dreams.
While you're at it, might as well grab the sunscreen lotion and shimmering body oil while they're 40% off too!Promising review: "I absolutely love the *Sol de Janeiro Sunscreen Spray*! This product has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. The spray application is so easy and convenient, especially when you're on the go or out at the beach. The formula is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly without leaving any white residue—just smooth, hydrated skin. The *fragrance* is a huge plus too! It smells absolutely divine, like a tropical vacation in a bottle—soft, sweet, and inviting, without being overpowering. I get compliments on the scent every time I wear it." —MaggiePrice: $19.20 (originally $32)
The Cheirosa 59 Hair & Body Perfume Mist is also part of the sale at 20% off — a delicious blend of sugared violet, vanilla orchid, and sandalwood that basically smells like frolicking in a field of flowers while catching fireflies. Reviewers say it lasts for a long time, so you won't have to worry about carrying this around for touchups all day.
I've personally been obsessed with this one lately. Honestly, Sol de Janeiro never misses, but Cheirosa '59 is really special — it's a perfect blend of sugary sweet florals with a clean, powdery vanilla. I'm typically not a huge fan of floral scents, but this one is so sweet and light that I find myself reaching for it all the time. However, I do looove vanilla, and the vanilla in this formula is much more refined than other body mists in this price range — it's fresh and airy, not heavy and creamy like a birthday cake. Promising review: "I have tried a few of their perfumes but it never really smelled that great on me. I tried this one and I am 110% in love with this smell! I get so many compliments and people asking what I am wearing! This will be my go to spray!! 💜" —Ashley Price: $30.40+ (originally $38)
Did you know SJD makes hair care, too? Reviewers love the 20%-off Brazilian Milky Leave-In Conditioner, saying it moisturizes and helps detangle without leaving a heavy residue behind.
Promising review: "I have used several leave-in conditioners, and this by far is one of my favorites! The smell is amazing! I only wash my hair twice a week and the fragrance of this leave-in conditioner lasts in between my washes. It also makes my hair very soft and smooth. Typically with leave-in conditioners, my hair remains frizzy. However, this one is different and tames the frizz better than most without weighing my hair down! I will definitely be purchasing this product again!" —ZoeyPrice: $22.40 (originally $28)
Honestly, this list could go on and on — so instead, I suggest you click here to see all of Sol De Janeiro's Prime Day deals and snag them before they're gone.

7 best Lidl perfumes dupes that smell designer but cost just £5

As someone who's a self-proclaimed fragrance snob, I'm pretty hard to impress when it comes to copycat perfume. But, in the past year, all I've been hearing about in the world of beauty dupes is Lidl – most specifically, the supermarket brand's scents. Said to rival the likes of Dior J'Adore, Lancôme La Vie Est Belle and – of course – the Sol de Janeiro mists everyone can't get enough of, Lidl dupes are meant to be IT. So naturally, I had to give them a go. While I may have my own thoughts and feelings in regards to dupes (it's a murky sub-section of beauty that's definitely not clear-cut), I also believe these opinions make me the most qualified to test them. You see, if one of these impresses me, you can really trust it's worth dashing to the shops for. And if not? Well, I'm just being an honest Leo queen. As a huge fragrance fan with over ten years' experience working as a beauty editor, I have smelt a huge variety of perfumes over my time. I also have a level of synesthesia, which means I connect smells to visuals, making the olfactory experience more pronounced for me personally. When testing Lidl's perfumes, I took a look at the notes on paper and which designer scent each has been most commonly compared to on social media, before actually spritzing the fragrances and making my own judgments. As well as initial impressions, I waited for each scent to dry down for a well-rounded, balanced opinion to form, and also assessed how they wore as the day went on for longevity points. Smells like…Lancôme La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum 50ml, £77.60 TikTok is rife with comparisons of Femelle and La Vie Est Belle. There's definitely some overlap (both live in the floral-gourmand family), but Lidl's is noticeably sweeter with more of a fruity undertone. It's a little syrupy, but still manages to maintain its refreshing, somewhat lightweight feel. Ultra-pretty and perfect for those who adore a feminine spritz, Femelle is a safe bet for daytime wear if you're looking for something simple. Notes: Iris, vanilla, sweet praline. What reviewers say: 'Femelle is a long-lasting EDP, not bad for a budget one, which can leave its mark for most of the day and evening with no recurring reapplications. It lasts several hours, and it is a suitable perfume to wear daily in the office or for business lunches.' Smells like… Chloé Eau de Parfum For Her 50ml, £80.75 Listen, as someone who actually counts the OG Chloe perfume as one of their top 10 scents of all time, I'm a little wary of harping on too much about Chalou's similarity; I must respect an icon, you'll understand. Both do hit you with soft peony accords upon initial application, but Lidl's dries down a little more generically with hints of musk and broader florals. It also doesn't deliver on longevity nearly as much as Chloe's bestseller. However, it's still one of the better dupes I've smelt, and one which may come in handy between purchases of the more expensive iteration. Notes: Rose essence, sweet lychee, magnolia. What reviewers say: 'Chalou is a light, fresh, and powdered floral with notes of citrus, aquatic flowers, and mellifluous accords.' Smells like… Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 68 Perfume Mist 90ml, £24 Fans of Sol de Janeiro's beloved body mists went wild for Lidl's duped versions in 2024. Not only do they smell similar, they are also a complete steal, priced at £3.99 for just 250ml. What I find most entertaining about this one, is that it's sort of a 'dupe of a dupe.' Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa 68 is known to be reminiscent of Francis Maison Kurkdjian's Baccarat Rouge 540, and Lidl's version definitely has a similar feel, too. It's very sweet and super potent (clinging onto fabric in particular), so just be sure you love it before spritzing everywhere! Notes: Jasmine, dragon fruit. What reviewers say: 'This smells exactly the same as the pink Sol de Janeiro. It [also] smells quite like Baccarat Rouge.' Smells like…Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum 50ml, £77.60 Rumoured to smell just like Yves Saint Laurent Libre, Rebile is one of Lidl's newer and lesser-known scents. It definitely has similarities with YSL's bestseller, but perhaps is not quite as sophisticated – but for the price, you'd not really expect it to be. There are strong hints of white florals in there, with plenty of sweetness and a touch of fruitiness. This is akin to a floral spring garden, which will either delight you or slightly overpower you – depending on your taste. What reviewers say: 'I love this perfume so much that I have bought 2 bottles and [am] planning to get more because I'm wearing it all the time and my bottles won't last long. It lasts all day and I wear it no matter what [the] occasion is. It has some similarities with YSL Libre, but it is different in its own way.' Smells like… DIOR J'adore Eau De Parfum 50ml, £88.40 In terms of dupes, this was the one I was perhaps most impressed by in terms of its resemblance to a well-known designer scent. When you initially sniff 'Lovely,' you'll actually be hard-pressed to point out differences between this and J'adore (unless you're incredibly nose-sensitive or a perfumery expert!). For this reason, it's worth picking up if you like the OG – just be warned, you have to reapply it every couple of hours to keep the smell going. Notes: Jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose. What reviewers say: 'Lovely meets as a (very pleasing) modern, fresh, cool, somewhat sporty fragrance.' Smells like… Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist 90ml, £24 Clearly made to smell like the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist, Lidl's take on this warm, summery spritz is similar, but not an exact dupe IMO. It nails the smooth, creamy salted caramel accords, but you struggle to detect any pistachio or vanilla due to how overpowering the caramel is. At £3.99, it is certainly more affordable than SDJ's body mists however, meaning you can spray liberally without worry. Perfect to chuck in your gym bag. Notes: Pistachio, salted caramel. What reviewers say: 'For the price, it's a really good spray. It's got a good smell to it and it lasts a long time.' Smells like… Chanel Coco Mademoiselle au De Parfum Spray 50ml, £92 An old classic, Madame Glamour is best known for its apparent likeness to Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. It was one of Lidl's first foray's into perfume dupes, and is still best known today. It features sweet florals and fruity accords, giving it an end result that's somewhat similar to Chanel's, but for me personally, that's where the comparisons end; there's a clear difference in quality and longevity here. To my nose, it feels a little musty and old-fashioned, but I'm generally more of a fan of fresh, lightweight scents, so this isn't geared towards my taste in the first place. Notes: Patchouli, orange, bergamot. What reviewers say: 'One day I was walking around an antiques market and I heard this older lady saying 'oh, someone is using Coco Mademoiselle,' and then she asked me directly if it was me (I just nodded because I was to[o] stunned to speak to be honest)... This was in France and the lady was also French. So if anyone is wondering if this is a good dupe, here's your answer.'

35 Inexpensive Alternatives To Name Brand Products

A Sol de Janeiro fragrance mist in scent Cheirosa '68 that gives Baccarat Rouge 540 luxury but, like, as a much cheaper, light body spray. If you've tried anything from Sol de Janeiro, you know their scents are literally top freakin' tier, and this Brazilian jasmine, hibiscus, and sun musk little bottle of gold doesn't disappoint. A spandex-blend slip maxi dress reviewers are comparing to the popular Skims dress. This dress will hug you tight and have those curves looking smokin' hot. You can't go wrong with a basic maxi bodycon dress. A pack of 240 pimple patches because a pimple is NOT ruining our day, babe! These patches use hydrocolloid material to help absorb all the gunk and tea tree oil and salicylic acid to speed up the pimple-healing process without picking or popping. Reviewers are comparing these babies to the ever-so-popular Starface patches. Abracadabra, psh, what pimple? A spaghetti strap top with a built-in bra that reviewers are comparing to its long-lost twin sister over at Alo Yoga. Long story short — messy divorce, Amazon, and Alo Yoga decided they'd each take one kid and never speak of the other. Kinda like that one Disney movie. Promising reviews: "I have had my eye on the Alo Yoga top for $51 and found this one on Amazon for a fraction of that!! Fits me perfectly. There are no pads, but I prefer that. It does come with cup inserts, but the material is thick enough that nothing shows. #founditonamazon." —Jessica"This top is a swap for the Alo Yoga top. They look exactly alike! The fabric is very soft and stretchy. These padding inserts are seamless and comfortable." —Amazon CustomerGet it from Amazon for $29.99 (available in sizes S–XL and 12 colors). An E.l.f. lip balm that'll have you like *wait, are we sure that this isn't Laneige in disguise?* These hydrating, nourishing balms are packed with ingredients your lips will ~love~ like shea butter and hyaluronic acid, and they'll give you an ever-so-sheer tint. Plus, you could get all five for, like, the same price as ONE of the name-brand ones. Or an E.l.f. Glow Reviver melting lip balm, which not only comes in the most stunning shades, but it'll slick your pout DOWN with some deliciously buttery moisture without the sticky feeling. Reviewers compare it to Summer Fridays, and that shine?! To die for. 😍 Promising review: "Diva, stop letting these influencers sway you into spending your hard-earned (and scarce) beans on $20–$30 subpar lip balms — you're paying for the brand, and the quality is questionable. E.l.f. KNOCKED THEM BOTH OUTTA THE PARK WITH THIS! SO BUTTERY, SO YUMMY, SOOOOOOO MUCH PRODUCT!!!!! I wasn't expecting the tube to be so generous in size, by far the biggest amount I've seen from the market. The flavors are divine, the color payoff is even better than Summer Fridays…and it's only $9, you cannot go wrong. I just can't fathom any balm being priced above $12, E.l.f. always hits and barely misses. 🩷💋" —SONIAGet it from Amazon for $9 (available in six colors). A 40-ounce Simple Modern tumbler with a handle if you look at the price of the Stanley cup and refuse to pay that much. This little insulated baby has your name written all over it. New fave cup? I think yes. Say hello to your new emotional support water bottle. A 6-quart Dutch oven — a heavy-duty cast iron with enamel coating that'll evenly distribute heat and lock in moisture so you can chef up some Gordon Ramsey-level cuisine. Le Creuset and Staub are SHAKING cuz this inexpensive baby can do everything they can do, but for so much cheaper. And we like cheap around here. A simple tennis bracelet, which will have everyone thinking you spent some serious coin on a Swarovski one. It's jaw-droppingly gorgeous, and the price?! Wooo 😮‍💨 luxury for the low is always a win. A cult-fave supportive seamless compressive bodysuit because the Skims one seems great and all, but that price does not. If you want the vibe but don't wanna drop the $70, grab this and just say, "yeah, it's the name-brand one." I won't tell, I swear. If you get two of these, you'll still spend less than you would on ONE from Skims. We love to see it! A mini belt bag with an adjustable strap that's super stylish and will hold your things while you go hiking, to concerts, travel, ya know. Also, a reviewer-beloved Lululemon belt bag swap! We live for a less expensive alternative! Slingback heels because, ooooh, look how gorgeous! These are drool-worthy, and if you think they look a bit familiar, it's definitely cuz they could pass as the Chanel pair. Now, you can get the look without having to spend an entire paycheck. A pair of stylish gold-plated teardrop earrings that'll make everyone think you dropped a bag 💰 on Bottega Veneta. I know, I know, they look like they weigh A TON *but* reviewers actually say they're super lightweight and don't affect sensitive ears! Oversize square sunnies with glare-reducing polarized lenses and UV 400 protection so you can give Bottega Veneta vibes while avoiding designer prices. Elevate your ~lewk~ without elevating your credit card balance too much. A set of six breathable seamless thongs because these laugh in the face of Victoria's Secret's five for $30 and Skims' three for $39 deals. They won't show under your clothes and, surprisingly, reviewers say they're comfy! Comfortable thongs sound like a myth, but these babies prove that they're so real. A set of Amazon Basics silicone baking mats you'll be able to reuse again and again. They're literally exactly like the popular Silpat mats except you'll get two of these babies for the price of one of the fancy ones. Say goodbye to the days of having your homemade cookies stick to the pan and say hello to brighter baking days with these affordable kitchen lifesavers. A bottle of Dossier Ambery Vanilla perfume inspired by the ever-so-popular but super expensive Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium perfume. With enchanting notes of mandarin, pear, pink pepper, jasmine, orange blossom, cedarwood, patchouli, vanilla, and more, this heavenly scent will have everyone asking what fragrance you're wearing. A transfer-, smudge-, sweat-, and water-resistant L'Oreal Paris Infallible setting spray mist that lasts up to 36 hours and has TikTok in a full chokehold. Literally, my jaw is on the floor. Reviewers are loving this affordable alternative to the One/Size setting spray mainly because this is basically witchcraft in a bottle. Put it on, and your makeup isn't going ANYWHERE. A pair of cozy memory foam platform sandals, aka the Steve Madden Slinky sandals' identical twin. These Y2K-esque cuties will def be your favorite shoes to reach for all summer long. An expensive-looking faux-leather belt to throw on and rock with your jeans. It's the little things that make the outfit, and this little thing will make a big difference for a small price. An elevated laptop tote bag which could seriously pass as the Béis Work Tote by Shay Mitchell. I mean, the resemblance is uncanny. Plus, it's roomy as heck so you can carry around your computer all day in style. A Briotech spray with hypochlorous acid in it, just like the well-known and loved Tower 28 SOS spray. If you wanna soothe inflammation, tone down redness, and strengthen your skin's barrier without having to drop a bag, this magical little facial mist is right up your alley. A cubic zirconia cuff which looks a lot like the Cartier Love bracelet and will make everyone do a double-take, cuz they'll think you're growin' money trees since the name brand one is over $17,000. 😱 Is your jaw on the floor, cuz mine is. A Nyx brow pencil that has Anastasia shakin' in her boots because this bad boy rivals the ABH Brow Wiz. This super skinny pencil will allow you to create hair-like strokes to sculpt and fill in any areas that are sparse. One side has a little spoolie anddddd it's like $15 less than the ABH one. A flirty corset lace-up sundress with a slit and a cute lace-up back. The devil on my shoulder keeps whispering *add it to the cart* and I'm like .2 seconds from giving in. Plus, it looks extremely similar to the $200 House of CB one, and we LOVE an affordable lookalike. It's giving ~demure~. A pair of double buckle slides that, wait, are we really sure that these aren't Birkenstocks in disguise? I mean, they have to be cousins or something, right? They come in *so* many colors and the straps can be adjusted for a perfectly custom fit. Or a pair of Cushionaire cork-bottom sandals made by the same makers of the TikTok–famous cloud slides! Reviewers say they're super similar to Birkenstocks, like, so similar, they could pull a Hallie and Annie Parent Trap trick. A high-stretch, sweat-wicking flared bodycon jumpsuit that'll be a closet staple every season. You'll love it because, boom, it's a whole outfit without thinking of what pants or shirt to wear. Throw it on by itself or add a jacket and serve away in this Aritzia Butter look-alike. A Baroque mirror which will give you that expensive, fancy, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie look without the expensive, fancy price. This beauty costs hundreds less and will add that touch of traditional glam you've wanted. A scoop neck top that'll deliver you that *buttery soft* Skims feel without that high as heck Skims price. Plus this one comes in SO many colors, it'll be hard to choose just one. Maison Louis Marie perfume oil, a *clean* fragrance with notes of sandalwood, amber wood, and vetiver that has TikTok *obsessed* cuz it smells verrry similar to the popular, expensive as heck Le Labo Santal 33 fragrance. So good, even Bad Bunny uses it! Check it out on TikTok!Promising review: "This scent is beautiful, just what I was wanting. I've worn Santal 33 for a long time, and this scent is very similar but sweeter because of the subtle nutmeg and vanilla." —Christy it from Amazon for $17 (available in nine scents). Or a "Soft" perfume rollerball which has TikTok in love. It's a warm, sweet scent with a hint of citrusy zest that reviewers are comparing to waffle cones, lemon pound cake, warm vanilla scones, and even this $65 bottle of Pink Sugar! So basically, you'll smell good enough to eat, and everyone will want to sniff ya. It layers extremely well, it's super affordable, and it smells like freakin' heaven. CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream so you can save money and get a quality moisturizer that'll help renew and hydrate your skin while you sleep. This ~dreamy~ lil' hyaluronic acid- and niacinamide-packed baby is being compared to the quite pricey Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer. And best of all, it's only 18 freakin' dollars. Heeled mule sandals with braided straps that are easy to put on and can be worn with practically anything. They're bound to become a go-to shoe this summer, and people may even believe they're the popular, *expensive* Dolce Vita ones. A sunrise alarm clock so you can wake up like a Disney princess, like you've always wanted. Reviewers say this is a lovely little ~affordable~ alternative to the over $150 Hatch one. Thirty minutes before your alarm goes off, it'll gradually brighten from red, to orange, to bright white *and* you can use it at night to help you peacefully drift off with a soft glow, natural sounds, and an auto shut-off function. This is def GOATed.
