iPhone 17 Pro Max Battery Size Leaked: Apple's Biggest-Ever Upgrade Coming?
Last Updated: iPhone 17 Pro series launch is a few months from now and the new leak gives us more details about the possible battery packing inside the flagships. iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to get a wide range of upgrades this year and now reports have come out which talks about the iPhone 17 Pro Max battery size which could be Apple's biggest ever. Earlier this month we shared the details about the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max upgrades expected this year, and besides the design and camera improvements, the company is likely to bring some notable upgrades with the battery unit as well. iPhone 17 Pro Max Battery Size Revealed The latest iPhone 17 Pro model launching this year will carry a 5,000mAh battery, as highlighted in a Weibo post by tipster Instant Digital. Last year's iPhone 16 Pro Max carried a 4,670mAh battery and the 17 Pro Max model does get the marginal upgrade, Apple will have finally moved up the ladder. Going by these leaks, it seems Apple is going to ditch its focus on making the iPhone 17 Pro models slim which could have a big impact on the size of the battery packing inside these devices. Now we can't say for certain about these figures, and Apple does its best to keep them a secret but we are hoping the mAh numbers mentioned by the tipster are true. But the more pertinent question would be, will Apple make the upgrade by offering support for faster charging speed also? Most reports have given us hints about that being possible but do we expect the company to bump up the range from 20-30W to over 50-60W in the space of one year, that seems unlikely. Apple will be offering the new Pro-level chipset for the iPhone 17 Pro series. Last year we got the A18 Pro version and now it is time to see the A19 Pro SoC powering the new Pro lineup for the company in 2025. The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models could come with 12GB RAM as the standard this year which should aid its levels and AI support further. Apple iPhone 17 series launch event is just a few months from now, and it is understandable that the hype and excitement is reaching a new level as the days close in.
