Safely tucked away in his Air Force One jump seat, Trump took to social media to dish out some praise and perhaps strengthen some stocks when trading resumes after the weekend.
Great Fox
Buoyed by the backing of his big, beautiful bill or beautiful, big bill or big bill beautiful, Trump roared that he was on the Presidential plane, traveling back to Washington from the Great State of Iowa.
He said he was on board with many of our 'wonderful and talented Cabinet Secretaries, including Kristi Noem, Doug Burgum, Brooke Rollins, Lee Zeldin, Matt Whitaker of NATO fame, and others in the Administration like Steve Miller, James Blair, SUPERSTAR Karoline Leavitt, and the legendary, first female Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles.'
He added that they were all watching a 'GREAT guy on Television — His name is Trace Gallagher, of FoxNews, a totally professional newsman who, at the same time, is highly entertaining, and very interesting. He interviewed me once in California. Keep up the GREAT work, Trace!'
Good news then for Fox News (FOX), whose share price is up 14% to date this year since big fan Trump returned to the White House.
Trump then revealed to those dastardly Brits that his knowledge of the game of cricket is limited when he tweeted, again referring to the passing of the bill, 'WOW! 218-2. Has a number like that ever happened before?'
Trump Triumph
Also being praised was that long-time firebrand of the American Right Newt Gingrich. He has recently published a book called 'TRUMP'S TRIUMPH, America's Greatest Comeback'. The ever bashful Trump was quick to compliment the subject matter.
'The wonderful Newt Gingrich has just written a book that is the talk of D.C. It's called, 'TRUMP'S TRIUMPH, America's Greatest Comeback.' Word is that it's Fantastic, but I haven't read it yet – I've been a little too busy. When I do I'll let you know what I think, but Newt always does it right!!! BUY A COPY NOW.'
Such a command is set to boost Amazon (AMZN) sales and other retailers such as Walmart (WMT) and Barnes & Noble (BNED).

Donald Trump Signs Disaster Declaration for Deadly Texas Floods
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. President Donald Trump announced that he signed a "Major Disaster Declaration" for the deadly floods in Texas Hill Country in a post on Truth Social Sunday. The declaration comes as rescue and recovery operations enter a third day following the devastating floods. "I just signed a Major Disaster Declaration for Kerr County, Texas, to ensure that our Brave First Responders immediately have the resources they need," Trump said in the post. 59 people are confirmed dead in the floods as of Sunday morning, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick told Fox News. "We expect that to go higher sadly," Patrick said. Of those recovered, 12 adults and 5 children are pending identification, according to a post on Facebook from the Kerr County Sheriff's Office. There are still more than 20 children believed to be missing from Camp Mystic, an all-girls Christian camp that lies along the Guadalupe River. "These families are enduring an unimaginable tragedy, with many lives lost, and many still missing. The Trump Administration continues to work closely with State and Local Leaders," President Trump continued in the post. "Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was on the ground yesterday with Governor Greg Abbott, who is working hard to help the people of his Great State. Our incredible U.S. Coast Guard, together with State First Responders, have saved more than 850 lives. GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES, AND GOD BLESS TEXAS!" Trump concluded. This is a breaking news story. Updates to come.

House Democrat says climate change ‘obviously a part of' Texas flooding
Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) said Sunday that climate change was 'obviously a part of' the recent deadly flooding in Texas. 'I think climate change is obviously a part of it. These floods are happening more often in more parts of the country, and really all over the world, and so we have to face that reality and be better prepared for it and combat it,' Castro told CNN's Dana Bash on 'State of the Union.' The death toll from the recent flooding caused by thunderstorms in the Lone Star State reached at least 43 individuals, authorities reported Saturday. President Trump had previously stated that his administration was working with Texas state and local officials in response to the fatal flash flooding. 'Our Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, will be there shortly. Melania and I are praying for all of the families impacted by this horrible tragedy,' Trump said a Saturday post on Truth Social. 'Our Brave First Responders are on site doing what they do best. GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES, AND GOD BLESS TEXAS!' Noem herself said in a Saturday post on X that 'our hearts are with those impacted by the Central Texas floods.' 'I thank Gov. Abbott, state officials, and the U.S. Coast Guard for their swift, heroic response. President Trump is committed to deploying all federal resources to unify families, rescue the missing, and return recovered loved ones promptly,' she added. Vice President Vance also said in his own X post that the country's 'heart breaks for the victims in Texas and their families.' 'Just an incomprehensible tragedy. I hope everyone affected knows they're in the prayers of my family, and of millions of Americans,' Vance said Saturday.
