Former Tottenham and QPR boss Harry Redknapp was the victim of a robbery after thieves broke into his family home in Dorset using sledgehammers and left with his wife Sandra's jewellery.
Redknapp and Sandra, both 78, were not present in the £5million house when the gang entered by breaking down the front door, according to the Sun. The thieves are said to have made off with jewellery belonging to Sandra, plus "luxury items" after they surveyed the layout of the house on a property website.
The house, located in the Sandbanks resort on the south coast, is currently up for sale, with the robbers possibly accessing key information about it on a Rightmove listing.
It's claimed the criminals - all wearing masks - were caught on CCTV helping themselves to valuables in the property as a source said the robbery was "clearly organised".
'The raiders must have known the house was empty,' a source told the publication. 'They used lump hammers and a sledgehammer to smash the front door open. 'They were caught on CCTV cameras breaking in and trying to ransack the property looking for valuables. It was clearly organised and they must have known the house was empty at the time.'
A spokesman for Redknapp told The Sun: 'Harry doesn't want to make a fuss. There was no one in the house at the time and we don't want to comment on what was taken. It's a matter for the police.'

Redknapp has not managed in elite football since a brief spell with Birmingham City in 2017.
He started his coaching career with Bournemouth before spells with West Ham, Southampton and Tottenham - where he got the club into the Champions League and achieved two top four finishes.
He also managed QPR for three seasons before his managerial career started to wind down, with the veteran boss saying he wanted to spend more time with his family and Sandra.
Redknapp has been married to Sandra since 1968 and the pair had two children together - Mark and Jamie, who went on to become a successful football for Tottenham and Liverpool and is now a popular Sky Sports pundit.

Arsenal transfer news: Mikel Arteta may see five stars sold amid Eberechi Eze chase

Arsenal's busy summer transfer window could continue with a deal for Eberechi Eze but focus is now turning to sales with five players potentially heading for the Emirates exit Arsenal are back in London following their pre-season tour of Asia, with Mikel Arteta's much-changed squad now fine tuning ahead of a friendly against Villarreal at the Emirates on Wednesday evening. ‌ And with a fortnight to go before their Premier League campaign begins with a trip to Manchester United, the Gunners continue to be linked with a deal for Crystal Palace and England star Eberechi Eze. ‌ That, however, may require a number of players to exit the club and reports suggest five different members of the first-team squad could potentially move on. ‌ Here are the transfer tales from in and around the Emirates to keep an eye on. Five sales Mikel Arteta could bid farewell to five of his squad before the close of the transfer window, according to the Daily Mail. Reiss Nelson is the most likely to head off amid admiring glances from Fulham and his departure would see the Gunners' wage bill trimmed by £100,000 per week. Oleksandr Zinchenko, who earns £150,000, is also for sale, while Fabio Vieira is far down the pecking order but has garnered some interest from West Ham and Albert Sambi Lokonga is another allowed to leave. Then there is Leandro Trossard, whom Arsenal want to sign a new contract but is on a shortlist of targets at Borussia Dortmund. ‌ Eze latest Eberechi Eze remains a potential addition before the transfer window closes but there remains a significant hurdle - the asking price. BBC Sport now report that Arsenal have "shown no inclination of triggering the forward's release fee", with the Gunners looking to sell before they make any more new signings. The report adds that Arsenal value Eze at less than £68m and "want to negotiate a deal beneath the agreement." Palace have so far been unwilling to negotiate a lower fee, but it is claimed that may change later in the window. ‌ Gyokeres' respect Viktor Gyokeres has refused to follow his agent in criticising former club Sporting CP for how they dealt with his summer move. The 27-year-old's Premier League switch was dragged out until last week, with clashes over a gentleman's agreement and a hefty fine issued. Gyokeres, having established himself as one of Europe's finest goalscorers with 97 goals in 104 appearances for Sporting, always looked destined to make a big switch this window. He joined the Gunners last weekend for a fee rising to £63.7million, having also been courted by Manchester United, who he chose to snub. "I don't need to throw mud at anyone," began the Swede, who made his first appearance for the Gunners against bitter rivals Tottenham on Thursday in Hong Kong. "I don't need to say what others have done or decided. "I don't do that, even though there are people who seem to need to tell others how to behave. I'm not like that. As a footballer, you always strive to reach the top. I felt ready to take the next step, and I believe many people at the club expected that before the season ended. Man Utd set low asking price to sell Rasmus Hojlund after Benjamin Sesko bid

Manchester United are willing to sell Rasmus Hojlund for £30 million this summer, according to reports. United are in talks with RB Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko but are facing strong competition from Newcastle for the 22-year-old. Newcastle's offer worth €80 million (£69.8m), including €75m (£65.5m) up front, has been rejected by RB Leipzig, while United are yet to make a bid. Hojlund, meanwhile, struggled to make an impact for United last season, scoring just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances, while the 22-year-old also faced criticism over his link-up play in attack. United signed Hojlund for an initial £64 million fee from Atalanta two years ago and according to BBC Sport, the club would allow the Denmark international to leave Old Trafford this summer if their £30m asking price is met. Speaking this week, Hojlund made it clear that he wants to fight for his place at United. 'The most important [thing] for me is to keep working hard and stay focused and then we'll see what happens,' Hojlund said. 'My plan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot. 'Competition is fine with me, it sharpens me. I'm more than ready.' More Trending Meanwhile, Amorim has refused to rule out the prospect of United selling Hojlund before the end of the summer window. 'I'm really happy with Rasmus but I don't know what is going to happen until the end of the market,' Amorim said. 'The important thing is that Rasmus is scoring goals. He's connecting really well with the team. He's improving. 'I don't know what is going to happen until the market is closed. We suffered a lot because of the lack of goals last season.' Man Utd transfer news: Benjamin Sesko twist as new signing set for debut

Manchester United are set to wrap up their tour of the United States against Everton on Sunday night with Bryan Mbeumo in line for his debut as striker saga rumbles on Manchester United are engaged in a tug of war with Newcastle United over their attempts to sign striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig - with the Toon submitting a bid to sign the Slovenia international amid fears that they will lose Alexander Isak to Liverpool. ‌ But United remain in the race with Newcatle's opening submission some way short of Leipzig's asking price. An offer exceeding £70m is set to be required for Sesko to depart the Bundesliga side. ‌ Ruben Amorim's team wrap up their tour of the United States on Sunday night against Everton with fresh speculation surrounding Bruno Fernandes ' interest from Saudi Arabia. But United will see Bryan Mbeumo play for the first time since his arrival from Brentford against David Moyes ' side. ‌ Here are the transfer tales worth keeping an eye on as the new season appears on the horizon. Sesko absence Benjamin Sesko was not in RB Leipzig's matchday squad for their friendly against Serie A side Atalanta on Saturday afternoon with the much coveted striker now at the centre of a tug of war between Manchester United and Newcastle. Xavi Simons, who has been linked with a switch to Chelsea, is also absent because of what the Bundesliga club described as a minor neck injury. They did not explain the reason for Sesko's omission. That follows news of Newcastle firming up their interest in the striker amid a separate saga over the future of their current top scorer Alexander Isak. The Toon have now lodged a bid of less than £70m for Sesko. Against that backdrop, Manchester United are braced for protracted negotiations with Bundesliga club Leipzig, who are determined to stand firm on their £70m valuation. ‌ Bruno interest Bruno Fernandes has fresh interest from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr the latest club to express an interest in the Manchester United captain. The Portuguese midfielder was previously linked with a move to the Middle East earlier this summer. Al-Hilal had tabled a lucrative offer to Fernandes that would have seen him bank around €70m (£61.1m) per year. The Saudi side were also willing to offer United €120m (£104.7m) for their star midfielder. ‌ But, as per Portuguese outlet A Bola, Al-Nassr are now interested in a move for Fernandes. Manager Jorge Jesus is leading the club's interest having worked with the midfielder at former club Sporting Lisbon. Mbeumo bow Bryan Mbeumo will make his long-awaited Manchester United debut on Sunday on the final game of their US tour. Mbeumo, who joined United from Brentford in a deal worth up to £71million, sat out victories over West Ham and Bournemouth because he was behind the rest of the squad in terms of his pre-season fitness level. ‌ But the Cameroon winger, who plundered 20 Premier League goals for Brentford last season, will feature for Ruben Amorim's side as they sign off from the US tour against Everton in Atlanta's Mercedes Benz stadium. United boss Amorim said: 'He's going to play. I'm really excited to see him playing and what he can give to our team. But I was also really excited to see the team playing the last game.
