Brahim Díaz will ultimately stay at Real Madrid
Brahim Díaz will ultimately stay at Real Madrid While Saudi clubs such as Neom SC, Al-Hilal, and Al Nassr were ready to splash out nearly €40 million to secure Brahim Díaz, the Moroccan international has reportedly made his decision. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 25-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed to all the terms of his new contract with Real Madrid. His extension is virtually finalized. Despite being courted from all sides, the player's only priority was to remain with Real. For the record, Brahim Díaz is coming off a mixed season with Los Merengues: 31 La Liga appearances, including 16 starts, with 4 goals and 2 assists. Despite reports of a reduced role under Xabi Alonso, the former AC Milan player has apparently chosen to fight for his place.

OM: Roberto De Zerbi hails Aubameyang
Roberto De Zerbi and Aubameyang Olympique de Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi was full of praise Saturday night for Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Clearly, Roberto De Zerbi is a happy man since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's return. Coming off the bench last night against Sevilla FC in a friendly, the former Arsenal striker is eagerly awaited by everyone in the Bouches-du-Rhône — especially his coach. At the end of the 1-1 draw at the Vélodrome, Roberto De Zerbi expressed his overall satisfaction with his squad's performance. Speaking to the press, the manager even gave his full backing to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. "Aubameyang really wanted to come back. It hurt us when he left. I wanted to send him on alone tonight so he could feel the love from the fans. He's still in great shape, and that doesn't take anything away from Gouiri, who still has the advantage. We might even see them both together." he said.
