But this weekend's version saw Robbie Williams go head to head with Beyonce at the clubs' home grounds.

kicked off the third night of his Britpop Tour at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium last night.
While just four miles away, Queen B played at Tottenham's £1.2billion stadium for her Cowboy Carter Tour.
And Port Vale fan Robbie could not resist adding some rivalry at his gig on Friday night.
During a singalong to Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer, he told his fans: 'You won't get that at a f***ing Beyonce gig.'

Robbie, who paid homage to his 1995 Glastonbury Festival look in a red stripe tracksuit, said he was 'anxious' in the run-up to his 38-date tour.
He said: 'I turned to my wife [Ayda] in rehearsals and said: 'Babe, I'm anxious about this'.

'She said, 'Rob, you behave like this is normal, you behave like you have to do this for the rest of your life, you behave like stadiums is where you should be'.
'In that moment, it changed my perception.'

But it seemed all the nerves had disappeared when Robbie was joined by Nineties boyband Five to sing their hit Keep On Movin', marking their first stage appearance in 25 years.
And boyband fans were equally delighted when Lulu appeared on stage with Robbie to sing Take That's hit Relight My Fire.
Is Beyonce's NFL Christmas Gameday show free to watch on Netflix or do I need to buy a Texans-Ravens pay-per-view?
However, 35 years since he joined Take That as a baby-faced teen, Robbie said fans are now offering him 'Werther's Originals' instead of ripping off his clothes.
He said: 'I might be in sniper's alley — but I believe I have got a lot longer on this runway to go.
'I look forward to getting even older with you and I look forward to seeing you at many shows to come, whatever size venue that is.'

Robbie was joined at the gig by Ayda, with whom he shares children Teddy, Coco, Charlie and Beau.
He joked: 'I remember why I do this. It is not for the glory, it is not for the money, it is because I have got four kids at home.'
And Robbie could not resist impersonating his frenemy
next
month.
In a rendition of Frank Sinatra's New York, New York, Robbie joked: 'You won't get this at Oasis.'
I'm sure Oasis won't hold back . . .
BEYONCE wasn't the only Knowles on stage in London this week.
Her mum Tina was grilled at the Southbank Centre by fashion queen Stella McCartney for a special 'An Evening With' bash.
Reflecting on home life with her two daughters, Tina said: 'Beyonce never wanted to go to bars. I was like, 'Go party, be wild!'.
'With Solange I did not have to do that . . . '
Stella also had a question from her Beatles legend dad,
But Tina's answer more than made up for it. She replied: 'Wonderful, except when people chat s**t about my kids. Then I want to fight.'
We wouldn't mess with her.
BEYONCE'S backstage area sounds dreamy.
Not only is she sent loads of Jo Malone candles, but I hear that US fast-food chain Wingstop sends her and her team unlimited buffalo wings, dripping in sauce.
Yum. I'd expect nothing less for Queen Bey.

The reality couple broke up in April following a string of heated rows, with Jack moving out of their shared home.
But I can now reveal they were spotted shopping at Swanley Market in Kent.
A source said: 'Chloe and Jack have been on and off for months but have finally put their differences aside to give their relationship another chance.
'They really want to make it work so have been enjoying some low-key dates as they gradually build the trust.
'They have realised they have something special so want to put their time and
energy
into making it work.'
Earlier this week they sparked rumours of a reunion when they shared snaps on their respective Instagrams from the same East London market.

SHAGGY: 'I TRUST NO ONE'

Shaggy admits that he is always suspicious of people

IT'S been 30 years since Shaggy topped the charts with pop hit Mr Boombastic – and the reggae legend is still going strong.
But speaking as he supports Pitbull on his UK tour, the American-Jamaican star admitted that he is always suspicious of people.
He said: 'The biggest lesson I've learned is to trust no one. Everyone has an angle or a motive. Everyone has an agenda. Make sure if you're the brand then you are the agenda.
'You trust people, but there comes a point where you do some inventory and realise people weren't there to help you – they were in it for themselves.
'A lot of it is ego or jealousy. People look at you and think it comes easy but they don't realise the amount of work that has gone into it.
'People feel like they should be in your shoes, they feel like they should be you. But the truth is they can't carry the candle at all.'
Noted, Shaggy.

SCOOTER'S RACH SPLIT

Music exec Scooter Braun has split from his girlfriend

IT looks like Taylor Swift's nemesis has been dealt another blow.
I can reveal that music executive Scooter Braun has split from his girlfriend, Canadian actress Rachelle Goulding.
A source revealed: 'Scooter and Rachelle have quietly split after they were first linked last year.
'He has recently been spotted on celebrity dating app Raya after their romance fizzled out.'
The couple were first linked in July 2024 after they were said to have enjoyed dates in California – including at the Stagecoach country music festival.
Taylor's feud with Scooter started in 2019 when her former label, Big Machine, sold the masters of her first six albums to him without telling her.
He later sold them on to Shamrock Holdings.
But last month Taylor announced that she finally controls all her music after finally buying them all back.
The Lover hitmaker confirmed she has bought the rights back to all six albums for a fee thought to be in the hundreds of millions.
The former Saturdays singer, who is back hosting on Radio 1 after maternity leave, shares daughters Annabella, two, and Liliana, five months, with the England cricket legend.
She said: 'Stuart has moved from playing cricket into commentating. He still goes away for long stints.
'But we basically juggle it between the two of us. We are a bit of a tag team.
'He works most weekends and I work Monday to Thursday so it is a bit 'one in, one out', but we are making it work.'
SHE'S no longer filming Love Island USA's Aftersun spin-off show, but I hear
The Irish beauty is set to head to Scotland to film the US Traitors, hosted by Scot actor Alan Cumming.
It's not the first time a Love Islander from the UK has taken part in the American version of Traitors, after Ekin-Su Culculoglu was cast last year.
A source said: 'Maura has been inundated with telly offers and she is very tempted by this big-money deal to film Traitors.
'She's a massive fan of the show and thinks it would be an amazing opportunity to introduce herself to US audiences and opportunities.'

‘True leader' and ‘real captain' – Premier League legend who bounced back from alcoholism is coming to Dublin
As cultural highlights go, there wasn't a crush of media moguls looking to buy the rights to the movie. It didn't seem like the sort of occasion that might ignite a season or a career. By then, Bergkamp was two-and-a-half years in North London but hadn't a medal to show for it. Flashes of his genius were intense, but the glare just hid the fact that they were less frequent than Arsenal needed. Tony Adams boarded the team bus, saw Bergkamp sitting alone, plonked himself down and said something that had been wandering his mind: 'You've been here two-and-a-half years, Dennis. Isn't it about time you won something? It would be a shame not to, with your ability.' Get your tickets for Indo Sport Football Live with Tony Adams and Joe Molloy on Wednesday, August 6 in Vicar Street here Bergkamp has a reputation as an even cooler social customer than he was on the pitch. He had always respected Adams though. That dated back to a friendly at Highbury with Inter Milan, not long after Bergkamp signed from the Nerazzurri. Inter captain Nicola Berti spent the game calling Bergkamp 'Beavis', after the titular character from the MTV show. Adams, as was his wont, made it clear to Berti that his afternoon wouldn't end well if he kept it up. Three months later, Arsenal had done the double. Bergkamp was crowned player of the year. His highlights reel that year are what you might describe online as footballing porn. That famous hat-trick versus Leicester and that sublime strike to beat Holland in the World Cup, the most explicit material in the Bergkamp seasonal canon. 'He was the main man,' Patrick Vieira, the man who would inherit the Arsenal captaincy, once said of Adams, 'just the way that he was standing there in the dressing room, or when he was leading the team walking through the tunnel, he was a true leader. 'He's a true leader. That's what I call a real captain, he would take all the responsibility, he's really vocal and on the field of course he's got this kind of leadership, he's driving the players, but I loved Tony and how he was in the dressing room.' ADVERTISEMENT Learn more It's an easy image to conjure of Adams, who was made captain of Arsenal at the age of 21 and held it for 14 years. It is also totally juxtaposed against the person who spent four months in HMP Chelmsford in 1990 for drink-driving. The same player who, after England were beaten in the semi-final of Euro '96 by Germany on penalties, went on a 44-day bender. Forty-four days? Even allowing for the cultural adjustment of the past 20 years, that is some stint. It started within an hour of Gareth Southgate missing his penalty on June 26 and ended on August 16. That was when he gave up alcohol. A month later, Arsène Wenger was appointed Arsenal manager. Adams commitment to sobriety was such that he once drank 27 cappuccinos at an Arsenal Christmas party having pledged to match his teammates' drink count. What is it that they say about people with extreme tendencies? Despite enjoying a wonderful renaissance under Wenger, the two fell out years later when, after some ill-fated attempts at translating all that big captain energy into management, he was turned down for a coaching role at Arsenal. Effectively, he couldn't get a job at a club that has a statue of him outside their stadium. Eaten bread, etc. Don't miss Tony Adams speaking to Joe Molloy at Indo Sport Football Live on Wednesday, August 6 in Vicar Street in association with Sky Sports. Damien Delaney and Gary Breen will also be on hand to preview the new Premier League season. get your tickets here.

Retro tv is good for the soul
How many of us can instantly recognise a character or a theme tune from a tv show we used to watch as kids and feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Depending on what era of television you grew up with, your memories of childhood tv will be different from others, and what you find comforting will also differ from friends and colleagues, depending on their own individual memories of when they first watched the shows. But television as a type of therapeutic comfort is becoming more and more of a thing, with the increasing stress of just day to day living, its nice to switch on, and just switch off. Pic: Getty Images There have been many studies done on the effects of television on our wellbeing, and Will Meyerhofer, a New York-based psychotherapist and author, says watching our favourite old shows can be a useful tool for dealing with anxiety and mild depression. These old shows are like the food we grew up with, like 'The Brady Bunch' or 'The Little House on the Prairie' for all of us 70s kids, or for younger people, those who grew up in the 80's and 90's shows like 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' and 'Friends' are like a warm blanket on a cold day. The Brady Bunch – Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paramount/Kobal/REX/Shutterstock (5873048d) Think back to when you were 11 or 12 years old, what were the shows you watched then, the one show you looked forward to every week, because try telling todays 11 or 12 year old's that you had to wait a whole week for the next episode of 'Dallas' and they would think you were stone mad. What do you mean you couldn't just stream it? Like a bowl of hot soup on a winters day, a nostalgic tv show from our youth can serve as a lovely reminder of the days when we didn't have much to worry about really, in comparison to our adult lives. FRIENDS – (Photo by Reisig & Taylor/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images) A recent Facebook post on 'The Mighty' health community got hundreds of responses to the question: 'What TV show from your childhood would you want to marathon-watch on a bad day?' The answers ranged from 'The Waltons' to 'Barney Miller.' (I had to look that one up) It's very simple when we think about it, television from yesteryear can make us feel safe and secure in a world that feels increasingly chaotic. Back to Dr. Meyerhofer for a moment, he explains that 'In therapy terms, it's an instant, and for the most part healthy regression in the service of the ego,' adding that he unwinds with old episodes of 'Star Trek The Next Generation.' Beverly Hills, 90210. Pic: mikel roberts/Sygma via Getty Images Another expert in nostalgia research is Krystine Batcho, who is a licensed psychologist and a professor at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. She says watching our favorite old TV shows satisfies our 'nostalgic need' and packs real emotional benefits. According to Professor Batcho, 'When people are stressed, or anxious, or feeling out of control, nostalgia helps calm them down'. Re-watching 'Friends' or 'Beverly Hills 90210' can literally 'bring back memories and feelings of the friends you had back then and the fun times you had together,' she said. Home and Away – Photo: Seven Network. And, if we're with new friends, either in person or on social media, chatting about our fondness for these old programmes can make us feel connected, and some parents have even started bonding with their kids by watching retro tv shows together. For a moment, step back into the old days when we had just one or maybe two channels, when we had to wait for our favourite show to start, we had no way to record it, just memorise it, and wait a full week to 'see what happens' in the next episode. And it didn't do us any harm at all.

Trump demands Beyonce be prosecuted over fake payment claims
U.S. President Donald Trump has called for Beyonce to be prosecuted over false claims that she was paid to endorse Kamala Harris in 2024. In posts on his social media, Trump claimed that Beyonce was paid $11 million (9.4 million) for endorsing Harris at a campaign event in Houston in October 2024. Trump also took aim at talk show host Oprah Winfrey and civil rights activist Al Sharpton, claiming that the Harris campaign broke the law by paying for celebrity endorsements and demanding all those involved be prosecuted. 'Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them,' Trump wrote on Truth Social. 'All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted!' However, there is no evidence to support the claim that Beyonce herself received any payment related to the Harris campaign. There is also no U.S. law barring a campaign from paying for endorsements, provided that expenditures are publicly disclosed. According to federal campaign spending records, the Harris campaign did pay $165,000 (141,000) to Parkwood Entertainment, Beyonce's production company, for a campaign event production expense. A Harris campaign spokesperson told Deadline in 2024 that while they were required by law to cover costs connected to celebrity appearances, they did not pay the celebrities for their endorsements. Despite thorough investigation by media sources and fact-checkers, no evidence has ever been produced to support the claim of an eight-figure endorsement payment. In a February interview with right-wing TV personality Mark Levin, Trump vaguely described his source on the number, saying, 'Somebody just showed me something. They gave her $11 million… [for] an endorsement, I guess, because she didn't sing.' Claims that Beyonce was paid $10 million for her speech at the Houston rally circulated on social media shortly after the event, which were also disproven by fact-checkers. Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mother, took to Instagram in November to call the allegation a 'lie.' 'When In Fact: Beyonce did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harriss (sic) Rally in Houston,' Knowles wrote. Beyonce's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, told fact-checking website PolitiFact in November that the endorsement payment claim 'is beyond ridiculous.' In May, Trump threatened to launch an investigation into celebrity appearances at Harris's campaign events, naming Beyonce and Oprah as well as Bruce Springsteen and Bono as 'unpatriotic 'entertainers'' on social media. None of the celebrities who endorsed Trump during his presidential run including Kid Rock, Jason Aldean and the recently deceased Hulk Hogan have faced calls for investigation.
