Dynamon and Webfleet partner to deliver low-cost insights for fleets

Yahoo11-06-2025

Fleet optimisation software specialist Dynamon has teamed up with Webfleet, Bridgestone's global fleet management platform, to offer decarbonisation reporting aimed at accelerating the transition to electric and low-emission commercial fleets.
According to a press release, the new integration combines Webfleet's real-time telematics data with Dynamon's advanced simulation platform, ZERO, to provide fleet operators with comprehensive, data-driven decarbonisation reports.
The offering enables businesses to make informed decisions on vehicle replacement, EV rollout strategies, charging infrastructure, and low-carbon fuel alternatives, without the expense of external consultancy.
According to the companies, the solution can cut the cost of traditional decarbonisation assessments by up to 80%, making it significantly more accessible for operators under pressure to meet environmental and regulatory targets.
The collaboration is enabled through Webfleet.connect, which facilitates seamless data exchange between platforms. This integration allows users to assess vehicle suitability, plan infrastructure, and conduct detailed total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses—critical components of any fleet decarbonisation strategy.
'Decarbonising a fleet can feel like stepping into the unknown and can be complex, costly and full of uncertainty,' said Dean Mahoney, Business Development Director at Dynamon. 'By combining Webfleet's telematics data with Dynamon's advanced simulation and insight tools, we take the guesswork out of the journey and give fleet operators the confidence to move forward.'
Beverley Wise, Regional Director for the UK and Ireland at Webfleet, added: 'Our collaboration with Dynamon empowers fleets to transform their operational data into practical steps toward decarbonisation. Together, we're removing barriers to electrification by making data-driven decision-making more accessible and affordable.'

Alcaline Transport in tie-up with Webfleet

Alcaline Transport, a Kent-based European haulage operator, has announced a major investment in Webfleet, Bridgestone's fleet management solution, to boost trailer visibility, improve compliance, and enhance operational efficiency across its 200-trailer network. The company, known for its time-critical logistics services for the automotive and aviation sectors, including clients such as Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, and Aston Martin, chose Webfleet for its integrated platform capabilities and real-time vehicle tracking. According to a company press release, the adoption of Webfleet will allow Alcaline to better meet its just-in-time delivery commitments, especially when transporting urgent stock from across Europe to the UK. 'Time really is money when you're manufacturing cars,' said Andrew Jerome, Transport Manager at Alcaline. 'With Webfleet, we can now pinpoint exactly where our trailers are, making us far more agile and responsive to last-minute client demands.' The Webfleet solution includes truck and trailer tracking, tachograph management, vehicle safety checks, and camera integration, with plans to integrate it further into Alcaline's routing and scheduling systems. 'We wanted a fully integrated fleet management solution with a single login and interface,' Jerome added. 'Webfleet met this demand and much more.' Alcaline worked with Fleet Trak, a local fleet technology specialist and Webfleet premium partner, to install the system. Fleet Trak also provided training and ongoing support. 'This is an excellent example of how Webfleet's investment in technology is delivering value to fleet operators through a single, adaptable platform,' said Jonny Wiggins of Fleet Trak. Webfleet's multilingual features are proving vital for Alcaline's diverse driver base, which includes staff from Spain, Italy, Poland, and Romania. 'If a driver is stopped for a spot check in Italy, Webfleet can automatically provide an infringement letter translated into Italian, which can help avoid fines,' explained Jerome. The Webfleet driver app also supports digital vehicle safety checks, with alerts routed directly to the workshop team. Additional integrations include axle weighing to detect overloaded trailers and EPBMS to monitor brake performance, keeping Alcaline compliant with the UK's new DVSA quarterly brake test requirement. Weekly management information (MI) reports generated by Webfleet highlight anomalies such as above-average fuel usage, helping Jerome's team quickly address inefficiencies. 'Webfleet is like another team member running in the background, efficient, automated, and error-free,' Jerome noted. 'It's revolutionised the way we do things and helped us deliver even higher standards of customer service.'
