Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli quits after 2 years

Bruno Tonioli, who was formerly a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, has stepped away from the role on BGT due to other filming commitments.
Rapper KSI, who featured as a guest judge on this year's series, is in talks to become Bruno's permanent replacement, according to The Sun.
A show insider told The Sun: 'Bruno has officially quit Britain's Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.
"He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden but Bruno just can't juggle his schedule with filming. There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face.'
Bruno's ongoing commitments include US dance competition Dancing With The Stars.
Earlier this week, rumours had circulated about Bruno quitting the show as a source said: "The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions."
"But it would be virtually impossible for him to miss two weeks, because in the final edit, that equates to half the episodes in the new three-month run of BGT, which will air from February of 2026."
The 69-year-old joined the judging panel in 2023 alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, following David Walliams' departure.
Who is KSI?
Newcomer KSI, born Olajide 'JJ' Olatunji, is an internet personality, musician and boxer.

The Repair Shop's Jay Blades charged with two counts of rape

Former star of The Repair Shop, Jay Blades, has been accused of two counts of rape. Police confirmed the allegations against the star who fronted the BBC show for seven years before stepping back in 2024. It was also confirmed that the host, 55, is set to appear in court next week. 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. 'He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025,' a spokesperson for the West Mercia Police told The Sun. It was announced that Blades was taking a step back from the show in May 2024, soon after he split from his wife. Blades' wife, Lisa Marie Zbozen, shared on social media that their marriage was over after 18 months. In her message, she said that she felt 'incredibly sad about the whole thing', adding: 'I don't think I've ever cried so much'. It was then reported that while The Repair Shop was continuing to film, Blades was 'having a break' from the production. 'Jay has taken a step back and is having a break from filming The Repair Shop,' a source told The Sun. 'His uncle's death in March and the breakdown of his marriage means he has decided to take some time out.' In October, Blades was charged with engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, with allegations coming from his estranged wife, Zbozen. Blades pleaded not guilty to the charges. The charge against Blades alleges his behaviour had a serious effect' on his partner. Judge James Burbidge KC rejected an application for part of the proceedings to be heard in private, before adjourning the case with a possible trial date of May 6 next year. More Trending The future of BBC TV programme The Repair Shop, which he has been a part of ever since it launched in 2017, has been called into question. An insider reportedly told The Sun: 'The Beeb won't feature any new shows in which he appears until it is clear how legal proceedings conclude.' The broadcaster previously confirmed to Metro that he is not currently filming the programme, and the BBC is currently not going to be scheduling any programmes in which he is featured- but content that already features Blades will remain on BBC iPlayer. Ozzy Osbourne 'tried to trademark Prince of Darkness nickname days before he died'

Ozzy Osbourne died at the age of 76 last month shortly after his farewell gig with his band Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham Ozzy Osbourne reportedly tried to trademark his 'Prince of Darkness' nickname just days before he died at the age of 76. The Black Sabbath frontman passed away shortly after his farewell gig with the band in his hometown of Birmingham last month. ‌ In perhaps what was an attempt to provide for his family, including wife Sharon, 72, after he was gone, the heavy metal legend - who spawned huge hits like Paranoid and War Pigs - is said to have applied for the trademark to sell clothes, games and accessories. ‌ It's believed the late frontman filed requests in both the UK and the US. An application thought to have been sent to the United States Patent and Trademark Office asks for "entertainment services, namely providing non-downloadable pre-recorded music via a website." ‌ Permission has yet to be granted in America, though it's thought Ozzy has already had the 'Prince of Darkness' trademark approved in the UK, according to The Sun. Though Ozzy is gone devastating fans around the world, he could appear on stage again in the future, as Black Sabbath trademarked their name in virtual reality - which means they could return as holograms. ‌ It follows in the footsteps of bands like ABBA, who have already used avatars for their London show, Voyage, which has been running since 2022 and features younger versions of themselves. Black Sabbath filed similar documents 20 years ago and the band could do the same at some point should they want to. Papers trademark use of 'production and presentation of animation and other special effects'. A number of other artists have taken similar action. Ozzy was laid to rest in Buckinghamshire at a private service attended by his close family and friends on Thursday. Among music royalty attending the funeral were Elton John, Metallica's James Hetfield, Marilyn Manson, punk singer Yungblud, Rob Zombie, and Ozzy's guitarist Zakk Wylde. ‌ In keeping with the rockstar's wishes, he was buried in the grounds of his sprawling family home where he shared many happy memories with wife Sharon, and where he spent his final weeks. Thousands also lined the streets of Birmingham, where he made one final trip through his home city as his hearse travelled from the Aston Villa football ground through the city centre. Though a cause of death hasn't been given, the singer had suffered ill health in recent years and been been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019. A statement from his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time." ‌ Paying tribute to her famous dad, middle daughter Kelly, took to social media to thanks fans for their support. She said: "I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough... but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. "The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain. "Grief is a strange thing - it sneaks up on you in waves - I will not be ok for a while - but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind. Thank you for being there. I love you all so much."
