Mel B ties the knot.. AGAIN! Spice Girl reveals she's celebrated her marriage to husband Rory McPhee with a spiritual ceremony in Morocco

Daily Mail2 days ago
Mel B has celebrated her second wedding in Morocco with her husband Rory McPhee, marking their marriage with a spiritual ceremony in Marrakech.
The couple, who first tied the knot in London last month, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a glimpse of their latest nuptials.
She captioned her post: 'We got married!!! Again! A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fav place at @selmanmarrakech ❤️❤️❤️ we had the time of our lives!!'
Scary Spice, 50, walked down the aisle for a third time last month when she tied the knot with hairdresser Rory McPhee, 37, at St Paul's Cathedral.
Despite the wild antics of her younger days, the wedding was a rather a low-key affair, with guests said to have headed home at 7pm.
After the lavish ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, including a horse and carriage, she took pals and family to a bar at The Shard skyscraper for a bash which many expected to rage well into the early hours.
The wedding party arrived at the reception at 4.30pm, however most of Mel's guests had headed for home by 7pm, with many having already changed into casual clothing following just over two hours of socialising.
Among the celebs on the guest list for the star-studded wedding were Mel B's fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton and comedians Alan Carr, Katherine Ryan and Tom Allen.
And her beloved Yorkshire Terrier pup Cookie served a very important role at the nuptials as the ring bearer.
After the ceremony, guests jumped onto a boozy party bus to take them to the lavish Shangri-La hotel at The Shard.
Emma was the only Spice Girl to make an appearance and while Victoria Beckham and Mel C were quick to offer up their apologies - paying tribute to Mel on social media - Geri Halliwell-Horner has remained tight-lipped on the matter amid reports differences between the pair.
It was thought the Spice Girls could be set for a reunion at the Moroccan celebrations, with Geri given the chance to extend an olive branch to Mel if she attends the North African ceremony.
Morocco hold significance for the girl band after they jetted there for a mini reunion a decade ago to celebrate David Beckham 's 40th birthday.
However ironically Mel B was the only member not in attendance as instead, Eva Longoria filled in for Scary - joking 'I'm the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice'.
Mel B told The Sun of her plans for a second wedding to Rory later this summer and said she'd already splashed out on a gown to wear.
'In one incredible afternoon I found two perfect dresses. One beautiful classic dress by Josephine Scott, a British designer, and one stunning dramatic dress by a US designer, Justin Alexander'.
Despite her absence, Posh, 51, also took to Instagram to pay tribute - sharing a sweet black and white throwback of herself and the bride with bandmates Geri, Mel C and Emma
Guests including Alan Carr and Leigh Francis were quick to offer their congratulations, while fellow bandmate Geri remained silent.
The pair have a tempestuous relationship and at times have struggled to be in the same room without there being animosity.
Geri continued to snub Mel B on Sunday after her lavish wedding weekend - while the likes of Heidi Klum, Paloma Faith and Kerry Katona led the stars sending the Spice Girl congratulatory messages following the ceremony.
However other Spice Girl Victoria was quick to comment under Mel's post saying: 'Congratulations!!!!! We hope you had an amazing day!!!! X kisses xxxxxxxxc.'
Heidi Klum added: 'CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH. WISHING YOU LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE FOREVER.'
Paloma Faith then added: 'Congrats my angel you deserve the world.'
Alice Evans said: 'You deserve this! I'm so happy for you!'. Alexandra Burke posted simply saying: 'Congrats!'
Katie Piper added: 'Congratulations you deserve so much love and happiness
Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field said under the post: 'Congratulations !'.
Mel C also shared a sweet snap of Mel B and her new husband as they celebrated their wedding day on Saturday.
Sporty Spice was notably absent as her Spice Girl bandmate said 'I do' to her fiancé Rory in London in front of a string of very A-list guests.
Mel was unable to attend no doubt due to scheduling conflicts, as she was performing in Sweden, but still wanted to share her excitement and happiness for the pair and took to her Instagram to share a photograph of the newlyweds.
Admitting that she was 'gutted' not to be there, she made reference to the fact they would all see each other and meet up in the not too distant future.
Posting some sweet words online, she gushed in the caption: 'So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee!'
Victoria also missed the ceremony but did share a sweet black and white throwback of herself and the bride with bandmates Geri, Mel and Emma to her Instagram.
Posh, 51, captioned the snap: 'Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn't be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx'
Hours earlier, Victoria had also posted another tribute to the couple on Friday with a photograph of herself and Mel looking glamorous together at a recent event.
She gushed in a caption: 'Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx'
Ahead of the wedding, sources told the Mail that there was no bad blood between Victoria and Mel but was simply a scheduling conflict.
They said: 'Victoria has long standing plans out of the country and she simply can't be there. She adores Mel, they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It's a real shame.
'There is no issue between them, they haven't fallen out. It's just one of those things.'
Geri was taken aback after Mel B revealed that they had had an intimate relationship when the band was starting out while she was being interviewed for Piers Morgan's Life Stories programme.
Geri was said to have been deeply upset by the bombshell revelation in 2019, for which Mel has apparently never apologised.

Home and Away star ties the knot with professional netballer in star-studded ceremony: 'You can hear the love in the room'

Home and Away star Lukas Radovich, 30, has wed his long-time boyfriend, professional netballer Liam Forcadilla. The happy couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Sydney on Friday, in front of a guest list that included Summer Bay favourites Emily Weir and Shane Withington. Also in attendance at the swanky do at The Grounds of Alexandria were former Home and Away stars Courtney Miller and Sophie Dillman. And on Tuesday, the pair shared a romantic video featuring their first dance as a wedded couple. The pair can be seen showered with silver confetti while holding each other close and kissing as they slow dance to Taylor Swift 's hit tune Lover. 'You can hear the love in the room,' the couple captioned the joint share on Instagram. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Liam Forcadilla (@liamforcadilla) The pair, who hard-launched their relationship in 2023 after dating for three years, sported elegant suits for their nuptials. Lukas opted for a smart double-breasted jacket and a cream tuxedo shirt, which he topped off with a white carnation and classic black bow tie. Liam, meanwhile, selected a white jacket, which he paired with a matching studded shirt and a black bow tie. Both gents completed their outfits with black trousers and matching dress shoes. Also in attendance was Australian actress Ebony Nave. 'Lukas and Liam got married and everyone cried!' she shared on her Instagram. Lukas first discussed his sexuality back in 2023. The actor, who is openly gay, played the character of Ryder on Home and Away from 2017 to 2022, confessed in an interview that he had never discussed his private life while appearing in the Channel Seven soap. The actor told The Daily Telegraph he never tried to hide his sexuality from the public, but was simply 'coming to terms' with it. 'I definitely think when I was in my young twenties, I was still discovering myself and that now I feel comfortable enough to be able to talk about it,' he said. 'The last five years have been quite a big journey for me; one, because of the show, but also too coming into my own sense of self, just being comfortable I guess.' Lukas came out to his friends and family before he began his role. 'I am quite a shy person by nature, quite introverted, so it takes a while for me to warm up to talking about things. And then after that it just wasn't an issue,' he added.

I just realised Australians are some of the only people in the world who use the word 'eisteddfod'

If you grew up in Australia and ever spent weekends in a scratchy leotard and hair slicked back into a bun so tight it could cut off circulation, there's one word you probably used without ever questioning it: eisteddfod. To Australians, it's used to describe a dance or band/music competition and is mentioned almost daily throughout the school week. It stems from Welsh culture and roughly translates to 'sitting together'. While most Aussies assume it's a universal term, those who utter the word in front of almost anyone overseas or expats are often met with instant confusion. Why? The answer lies in a history lesson that stretches back to 19th century Wales. An eisteddfod in its original form is a centuries‑old festival of poetry, music and performance, with roots that date back to at least the 12th century. In Wales, these events are still about celebrating the Welsh language, culture, and music - with competitions in singing, harp playing, and poetry recitation. When Welsh immigrants arrived in Australia in the 1800s, particularly in areas linked to mining and wool industries, they brought the tradition with them. At first, the Australian versions followed the Welsh format: singing competitions, a bit of poetry, and perhaps some instrumental music. But somewhere along the way, something changed. Someone slipped a dance routine into the programme, and before long, the word eisteddfod had been redefined here. What was once a cultural celebration became, in Australia, a catch‑all term for performing arts competitions - and eventually, almost exclusively for dance contests. 'They aren't just for dance,' one Reddit user explained. 'I've been in them for singing and drama also - they are competitions for the performing arts, which is why they are called an eisteddfod.' 'The eisteddfod in Wales is usually a singing competition, with maybe a bit of poetry. That started early in Australia. Dance eisteddfods were named after that,' another wrote. In linguistic terms, it's what's known as a 'semantic shift' - a change in meaning that can happen when a word migrates across cultures. The Welsh diaspora kept the name, but as the decades passed, the content of the competitions in Australia evolved. Now, for generations of Aussie kids - and their long‑suffering parents - eisteddfod is synonymous with weekend marathons of costume changes, side‑stage pep talks, and the sound of tap shoes clattering down a high‑school hall. It's an institution that's spawned an entire subculture of sequin‑studded competitiveness. Meanwhile, in Wales, the word still means what it always has - a festival celebrating language and music - which explains why international friends might appear baffled by the sentence 'we've got three eisteddfods this term'. So while the rest of the world may have never heard of the word, in Australia it's part of the fabric of growing up - as familiar as school assemblies, meat pies at the tuckshop, and the smell of hairspray in the change room.
