This past weekend, ANGEL'S ENVY introduced its new summer campaign with a pickleball street festival, exclusive merch collab, and a celebrity exhibition match featuring model and brand partner Venita Aspen
HAMILTON, Bermuda, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ANGEL'S ENVY® officially launched its summer-long Daycap campaign with a vibrant celebration in downtown Louisville. The Louisville Downtown Pickleball Street Festival, sponsored by ANGEL'S ENVY, invited fans to unwind with Peach Smash cocktails, community play, live music, and food.
The event marked the debut of ANGEL'S ENVY's latest campaign, centered around the Daycap – a moment to pause, connect and toast an achievement. The brand recently released a new ad series featuring three narrative videos, each showcasing a different take on the Daycap occasion. Whether after a match or a meeting, the Daycap is that earned moment to gather with friends and raise a glass.
The festival, hosted by Louisville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Goodbounce Pickleball Yard, transformed Main Street in front of the ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery into an outdoor pickleball venue in the heart of downtown Louisville. Highlights included a celebrity exhibition match between ANGEL'S ENVY brand partner Venita Aspen (Bravo's Southern Charm) and WAVE Listens Live host Sean Baute, plus competitive tournaments, open play, and a Peach Smash bar serving the brand's signature summer cocktail. Guests also enjoyed exclusive merch, giveaways, photo opportunities, and a Daycap experience inside the ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery, complete with games, cocktails, and more.
"I was so excited to team up with ANGEL'S ENVY," said Venita Aspen. "I've recently been exploring the world of bourbon, and style is at the heart of everything I do - so when I was approached for this project, it was an immediate yes! As a Charleston native who's worked with Short Court, a hometown favorite, this partnership alongside ANGEL'S ENVY felt like a natural fit. Seeing the community come together around pickleball, embrace the Daycap, and celebrate with friends in style — all while enjoying thoughtfully crafted bourbon cocktails like the Peach Smash— was the perfect way to kick off the summer."
As part of the launch, ANGEL'S ENVY introduced a limited-edition pickleball capsule collection in partnership with Short Court, the Charleston-based pickleball apparel and equipment brand known for blending classic tennis aesthetics with a modern twist. The co-branded paddles and hats were designed for both on and off the court and are now available at ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery and online via shortcourtsports.com.
"At Short Court, we've always embraced a 'play, then après' attitude, and we love Angel's Envy for their spirited take on our new favorite summer ritual: the Daycap, best enjoyed with a courtside Peach Smash cocktail," says Short Court co-founder Neil Thomson.
"We're excited to partner with Short Court and our brand partner Venita Aspen to bring the Daycap occasion to life," said Gigi DaDan, General Manager of ANGEL'S ENVY. "Introducing the Daycap to consumers across the country allows us to celebrate that earned moment to relax and enjoy a well-crafted drink - an invitation to cap off the day and kick off the night. Through this partnership, we're celebrating the joy of unwinding with a premium experience that feels well deserved."
ANGEL'S ENVY will continue to bring Daycap moments to life in select cities, including:
ANGEL'S ENVY Peach Smash Daycap Takeovers in Louisville: Consumers can experience Daycap at Goodbounce Pickleball Yard's waterfront venue, as well as at Five Iron Golf, Bar Vetti, and Galaxie in Louisville.
Craft Your Daycap: The ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery will offer a 90-minute Peach Smash cocktail class, bookable through the ANGEL'S ENVY website.

‘Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: ‘Help Wanted'

"The faces may have changed, but my rules? They've stayed the same," Lisa Vanderpump says in a new Bravo clip In the wake of the cross-season drama dubbed Scandoval, 'Vanderpump Rules' overhauled its cast of characters around SUR owner Lisa Vanderpump going into Season 12. Bravo released a brief teaser for the upcoming season on Friday, poking fun at what came before to hint at what's coming next. The 15-second clip shows Lisa Vanderpump putting up a 'Help Wanted' sign on the door of her sexy, unique restaurant before looking at the camera and winking. A text card then states, 'It's time for a shift.' They've stayed the same,' Vanderpump says in the clip. You can watch the teaser for yourself, below. In November 2024, it was announced that Bravo's hit reality show 'Vanderpump Rules' was in for a total overhaul. Following two seasons of Scandoval, the show sought to build a new cast from the ground up around the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star. The reboot will also include a retrospective special looking back at the first 11 seasons of the show. 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,' Vanderpump said in a statement at the time. 'I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of 'Vanderpump Rules.'' 'VPR's' big debacle began in the show's 10th season. At the time, Tom Sandoval allegedly cheated on his longtime girlfriend (and co-star) Ariana Madix — with her then-best friend, Raquel Leviss. Leviss herself, meanwhile, is the ex-fiancée of James Kennedy, who, you guessed it, was yet another cast member. You can see why they needed to reboot. The Scandoval drama continued into the show's 11th season, where Sandoval, Madix and Kennedy all returned. Leviss, on the other hand, did not. The scandal was big enough that it broke containment from the show itself, becoming a popular topic in tabloids and online circles. Since the news of the overhaul, Sandoval has been making appearances on other reality programs, such as 'The Traitors' and 'America's Got Talent,' while Madix is now the host of 'Love Island USA.' A release date for 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 has not been set. The post 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: 'Help Wanted' appeared first on TheWrap.

'Vanderpump Rules 'Teases First Glimpse into New Season After Casting Shakeup: 'Help Wanted'

Bravo first announced 'Vanderpump Rules' was being rebooted for season 12 — with a new cast joining Lisa Vanderpump — in November Vanderpump Rules is getting ready to raise the bar! On July 25, Bravo released a teaser on X for the upcoming 12th season, eight months after they announced they were rebooting the series. In the clip, Lisa Vanderpump is seen hanging up a "Help Wanted" sign at SUR as she says in a voiceover, "The faces may have changed... but my rules, they've stayed the same." The video then transitions to show the phrase, 'It's time for a shift.' While no release date has been confirmed, the clip also teases the new season will be 'coming soon.' 'New shift. Same rules. #PumpRules Season 12 shakes things up soon,' the caption reads. The teaser comes after Bravo confirmed in November that a new cast would be joining SUR and TomTom owner Vanderpump, 64, for season 12. The new cast includes a 'close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors,' the network announced in a press release at the time. However, no names have been announced. 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,' Vanderpump said in the release. 'I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.' Alex Baskin, executive producer of the show's production company 32 Flavors, added: 'What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again. With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can't wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together." Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013 with stars Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Stassi Schroeder, Peter Madrigal, Mike Shay, Laura-Leigh, Frank Herlihy and Ariana Madix. Over the years, cast members have come and gone, with others like Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent and Rachel Leviss joining the series. After the reboot was announced, a source close to the situation told PEOPLE that the legacy cast learned about the decision one day prior to the news going public. 'They're understandably upset that it's all coming to an end, but no one was necessarily surprised,' the insider said at the time. 'It's more relief that they finally have an answer.' Since 'there were so many fractions' among the cast following the season 11 reunion, the source revealed that Bravo felt they needed to move on with a new group. 'There had been a long pause in production, and nothing had really changed among the cast since the reunion,' the source added. 'Everyone was still stuck in their feelings and refusing to bend. The network felt there was no path forward with the group in that capacity.' A second source noted that money did not play a factor in Bravo's decision to start fresh, noting that the network opted for a reboot before discussions of salaries even began with the former cast members. "It was completely driven by creative," the insider explained. "There weren't any negotiations happening between the cast and the network where money was even discussed."
