
Crew Clothing steps up in sportswear with comprehensive new line
The more relaxed capsule, in key buttery-soft fabric, is designed to offer ease of movement while remaining breathable with sweat-wicking features. The Bi-Stretch styles include ergonomic seams to follow the body's natural contours, and have UPF50+ protection.
Dedicated running jackets, gilets and shorts, are produced in a lightweight woven fabric and come with reflective detailing.
Finally, the Technical capsule has breathable, sweat-wicking fabric with four-way stretch for performance and recovery.
Prices range from £25 to £65 with the Crew Sport collection available through any of its 41 stores and online from 17 June.
Head of Marketing Naomi Parry said: 'Entering the sportswear space feels like a natural progression for Crew. Born out of a Salcombe windsurfing shop, we launched our very first collection with rugby shirts designed by a GB skier [so] sport is in our DNA.'
Calling the line 'a natural progression', she highlighted the brand's close sporting legacy which, in the last decade has been built through sponsorship partnerships with Henley Royal Regatta, the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the England Red Roses rugby team, 'and Crew Sport is the next step in our journey'.
She added: 'We know our customers live active, varied lifestyles, and we think this new collection will be the ideal addition to their wardrobe.'
Head of Design Jo Miller also said: 'Designed to transcend age, gender and fitness level, our new athleticwear collection blends our timeless heritage with cutting-edge details.
'We've become known for our signature touches over the years, and you'll find that here too. Whether it's the unrestrictive storm flap on our running gilet or the thumb holes on our track top, we've thought through all the little details.'
The launch also comes with a marketing campaign that reflects not only the brand's British legacy but injects some humour too. 'We don't take ourselves too seriously and hope that will come through in some of the copy we are launching with,' noted Parry.
Taglines include 'Your park-run-and-a-pint Crew' and 'Barbells-and-a-brunch Crew'… 'it's mixing that sport and team spirit [and] bringing it all together in that British tongue-in-cheek humour'.
She added: 'In essence, Crew Sport's sporty but doesn't take itself too seriously, is stylish but not too showy, made to make you feel good and fit into your lifestyle… and the added mix of heritage and humour is what will carry it through'.

Fonseca expects Brazilian fans to bring the noise at Wimbledon
British world number 51 Fearnley will face 18-year-old Fonseca on Court One in the first round on Monday. But while Fearnley might expect strong support from fans at the All England Club, rising star Fonseca is confident the passionate backing from his Brazilian followers will drown out the home crowd. Draper ready to fill Murray's shoes as Britain's Wimbledon hope
Murray ended the 77-year wait for a British winner of the Wimbledon men's singles title when he beat Novak Djokovic in the 2013 final. The Scot won Wimbledon again three years later during an iconic career that included three Grand Slam titles, two Olympic gold medals and a spell as world number one. Murray retired following the 2024 Paris Olympics, but British world number four Draper has already emerged as a worthy successor to the 38-year-old. Now Draper knows he has to prove he can handle the expectations of the British sporting public at his home Grand Slam. "Yeah, for sure. I think obviously when Andy retired, they said I was the next in line for that," Draper told reporters at the All England Club on Saturday. "Obviously Andy has done an unbelievable job. He's been incredibly successful and has become adored by the nation. It's obviously big shoes to fill. I'm aware of that. "At the same time I'm confident in myself that hopefully I can inspire people like Andy has done. "I'll keep trying to show my best tennis out there, to hopefully present myself as the player and the person I want to be." Murray has been a useful resource for Draper since the 23-year-old burst onto the scene with a run to the US Open last 16 in 2023. And Draper won't be shy about asking Murray for advice on how to deal with the Wimbledon spotlight. Mentor Murray "Obviously Andy has given me an amazing amount of feedback and advice over the years. I think one of the biggest things is everyone is on their different journey," Draper said. "I know Andy's right there for me if I need him any time. Draper is scheduled to face former Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic in the second round and Alexander Bublik, who beat him in the recent French Open, in the third round. The draw seeds Draper to meet seven-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic in the last eight, world number Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final. "I haven't looked at that at all. I look at my first round. I respect every person in the draw," he said. "Obviously you guys have asked me a lot about the pressure and all that sort of stuff. I'm not thinking about that at all." Draper's victory at Indian Wells in March was his first ATP Masters 1000 title, building on his maiden Grand Slam semi-final appearance at last year's US Open. After a rocky spell when he struggled to adapt to the gruelling demands of the ATP Tour, Draper now feels comfortable on and off the court. "I think maturity, taking responsibility for my actions. When I was younger, it's tough. My friends went to university. I suppose they had an extended period of their childhood or their time to have fun," he said. Chelsea boss Maresca hails Fernandez ahead of Benfica Club World Cup clash
"I am very pleased with Enzo especially because first of all he is a nice and polite boy, and then with us since we started he has been working very well in every aspect on and off the pitch," Maresca told reporters in Charlotte. That is where the sides will face off on Saturday in the last 16 of FIFA's expanded competition. Fernandez was a vital cog in the Chelsea side that finished fourth in the Premier League to qualify for next season's Champions League, and also featured in their run to the UEFA Conference League title. At the Club World Cup he came off the bench at half-time to score the second goal in the 2-0 win over Los Angeles FC in their opening game. The 24-year-old has started both matches since, and laid on two goals in the 3-0 victory against Esperance of Tunisia in Philadelphia which clinched Chelsea's place in the last 16. Fernandez was signed from Benfica in February 2023 for a British transfer record fee at the time of £107 million ($147 million). In 2025 he has scored and assisted a total of 14 goals. "This season he struggled a bit at the beginning to understand the way we want to play but (since) then he is doing fantastic also in terms of numbers, goals and assists," Maresca added. "This is what I want from attacking players -- I have said many times that I prefer to have attacking players with 10-12 goals each than just one striker with 40 goals. "His contribution has been top and I am sure it will be even better next season." Chelsea have won all three previous competitive meetings with Benfica, the last coming in the Europa League final in 2013. But Maresca is wary of the Portuguese side after they beat Bayern Munich to top their group at the competition. "I think Benfica, not only in this competition, have always shown how big a club they are in Europe," said the coach. "In the last game they beat Bayern so they showed what they can do. Every game is tough and complicated, and anything can happen."
