Jurors view dramatic moment armed police arrest neo-Nazi teenager in gun sting
It was the culmination of a 'highly sophisticated operation' in which Coleman was allegedly snared by an undercover officer from MI5.
Former Tesco worker Coleman had allegedly made an arrangement with the undercover officer for the supply of a Makarov pistol, five magazines and 200 rounds of ammunition.
Coleman, then aged 19, was allegedly told they would be in a Land Rover Discovery parked in the Morrisons car park in Stratford, east London, on the morning of September 29 2023.
Jurors have been shown video footage of the defendant, dressed in a black tracksuit with the hood up as he went to collect the weaponry.
In the video, he is seen leaving cash in the front passenger seat footwell and collecting a holdall from the boot.
But before he has walked 30 yards, he is confronted by counter-terrorism police officers pointing stun guns.
In front of shocked shoppers, Coleman drops to his knees and lies flat on the ground before being handcuffed.
Coleman has accepted having a significant quantity of extreme right-wing material and pleaded guilty to possessing 10 documents which contain information likely to be useful to terrorists.
The defendant, now aged 21, of Great Notley in Essex, has also pleaded guilty to attempting to possess both a firearm and ammunition but has denied he was preparing for a terrorist attack.
The Old Bailey trial continues.

Protesters turn out as woman appears in court over alleged support for Hamas
Pro-Palestine protesters chanted outside the Old Bailey as a 21-year-old woman appeared in court accused of expressing support for Hamas in a speech at a London university. Student Sarah Cotte, from Camden, north London, has denied two charges of expressing 'an opinion or belief in support of a proscribed organisation'. On October 9 2023, it is alleged she gave a speech at Soas University of London 'being reckless' as to whether a person would be encouraged to support a proscribed organisation. Seven days later, she allegedly expressed support for Hamas by giving her opinion in a WhatsApp group chat. On Friday, Cotte appeared at the Old Bailey and sat in the well of the court for a hearing before the trial judge, Richard Marks KC. The judge set a further pre-trial hearing for October 24 and granted Cotte continued conditional bail. The defendant faces a 10-day trial at the Old Bailey from February 23 next year.

Man denies amassing armoury of weapons and trying to whip up pandemic uprising
A man has denied trying to whip up an armed uprising against the UK government during the Covid-19 pandemic and amassing an armoury of weapons, including a dagger, knife, and two crossbows. Paul Martin, 60, appeared in court on Friday charged with encouraging terrorism, possessing articles for the purposes of terrorism, and possessing a stun gun. It is alleged that Martin, of Suffolk Road, Croydon, posted some 16,000 messages in a Telegram group called 'The Resistance UK' under the username 'Perpetual Truth'. Between December 15 2020 and September 29 2021, he allegedly discussed gathering a militia and weapons and attacking members of government and police. At the same time, Martin allegedly possessed a dagger, a knife, two crossbows and arrows which gave rise to a reasonable suspicion that he intended to use them for the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorist acts. He is also charged with possessing a weapon on September 28 2021 that discharged a noxious liquid, gas or other thing, namely a stun gun. The bearded and bespectacled defendant, who wore his long grey hair in a ponytail, confirmed his identity during the Old Bailey hearing before Judge Richard Marks KC. He went on to plead not guilty to all three charges against him. Martin, who is on conditional bail, faces a two-week trial from October 13 at the same court.
