
Deputy health minister visits National Faculty
The Deputy Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Nasher Al-Qaoud, accompanied by the Undersecretary for the Planning Sector, Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Sana'ani, reviewed the progress of work at the National University College of Health Sciences.
The Deputy Minister and the Undersecretary, along with the Director of Human Development at the Ministry, Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Khatib, listened to an explanation from the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah Muslim, about the progress of work at the college, the infrastructure, equipment, institutional capabilities, and legal legislation that have been achieved, as well as the educational regulations and guides that regulate workflow, academic programs, scientific curricula, and teaching staff.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Health expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the college's leadership and the academic and administrative staff in developing the educational process.
He emphasized that these efforts are part of the Ministry of Health and Environment's policy, in line with the directions of the National Vision and the Government of Change and Construction.
Furthermore, a meeting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Health, attended by the Undersecretary for the Planning Sector and including the Dean of the College, his deputies, and relevant authorities, discussed the draft general plan for registration and admission for the year 2025, which includes the National University College of Health Sciences and the branches of the Higher Institute for Health Sciences in the governorates.
Deputy Minister Dr. Al-Qaoud emphasized the importance of the plan's integration of health programs in accordance with the Ministry's policies and meeting needs at the governorate and district levels.
He also emphasized the commitment to supporting the college and overcoming all difficulties and challenges to achieve its goals, enhancing its role in providing higher health education that meets the needs of society.

Zionist aggression toll tops 56,412 martyrs
Gaza - Saba: The death toll from the Israeli victims in the Gaza Strip has risen to 56,412 martyrs and 133,054 injuries as of Saturday, since October 7, 2023. The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip - received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) - stated that 81 martyrs and 422 injuries were received by Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours. Israeli enemy genocide death toll rises to 55,706
Gaza – Saba: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose on Thursday to 55,706 martyrs and 130,101 injuries since October 7, 2023. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip stated in its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip that 69 martyrs (including 2 rescued martyrs) and 221 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. It stated that the death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025, has reached 5,401 martyrs and 18,060 injuries. The Ministry stated that the number of aid victims arriving at hospitals since Thursday morning, and thus far, is 12 martyrs and more than 172 injuries.
