'The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity' teases poignant tale of high school love in official trailer

The trailer for highly-anticipated romance anime "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" is now here!
In a two-minute clip shared by Netflix Anime on YouTube, viewers are given a glimpse into the blossoming romance between Rintaro Tsumugi and Kaoruko Waguri—two high school students from rival schools.
Yoshinori Nakayama will voice Rintaro Tsumugi, while Honoka Inoue will voice Kaoruko Waguri.
Other cast members are Kikunosuke Toya (Shohei Usami), Koki Uchiyama (Saku Natsusawa), Hiiro Ishibashi (Ayato Yorita), and Aya Yamane (Subaru Hoshina).
As seen in the Netflix Philippines site, the series will premiere on July 13.
"The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" (Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) is the anime adaptation of the popular manga of the same name by Saka Mikami.
The story follows six teenagers (four boys and two girls) who attend an all-boys high school and an all-girls high school, respectively. They form an unlikely friendship despite the prejudice of their schools against each other.

Growing up in Barbados, the singer-actress said in a press release that "The Smurfs" was her childhood favorite. "So many mornings, I woke up long before I was supposed to get ready for school just to get that dose of 'Smurfs'," Rihanna said, who also served as the film's producer and music contributor. Speaking about her character, she said Smurfette is "a powerful leader, independent, strong, beautiful, sassy, witty and very empathetic." "I was super-inspired by all of that," she added. In the upcoming film, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission to the real world to rescue Papa Smurf (John Goodman), who's been kidnapped by evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel. With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe. Directed by Chris Miller and written by Pam Brady, "Smurfs" premieres in the Philippines on July 16. The "Umbrella" hitmaker previously acted in "Ocean's Eight" and "Battleship" among many others. The family of Matutina is remembering the late actress on what would have been her 79th birthday. In a message sent to GMA News Online, Shiela Guerrero, Matutina's daughter, looked back on her mom's profound impact on Philippine entertainment. Guerrero shared a heartfelt message to her mother's fans, urging them to keep her memory alive. "I hope they will always remember Mama, especially today, which would have been her 79th birthday, and her contribution to the Philippine entertainment industry. I also hope they will never forget how she brought them so much joy," she said. To honor Matutina, the family has planned an intimate remembrance. "We will attend mass later at 6 p.m. then dinner with my father and my kids," Guerrero said. "We will also visit Mama at the columbarium." Matutina passed away on February 14.
