A school in south Belfast has been closed due to an ongoing security alert.
The security alert is taking place in the Benmore area of Finaghy, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.
In a statement, Finaghy Primary said it was closed on the advice of police due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Cordons are in place and police have advised the public to avoid the area.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police. Man in his 20s in hospital after Stratford stabbing A man in his 20s is in hospital after a stabbing in Stratford. The incident happened on Stratford High Street just after 7.30pm on July 29. Officers attended the scene after the victim took himself to hospital. His injuries were assessed as non-life threatening. No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue. Man taken to hospital after West Ham Park stabbing A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing at West Ham Park. The incident happened at the park in Upton Lane just after 10.50am on July 29. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as non life threatening. No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue. Man, 21, taken to hospital after shooting in Southwark A 21-year-old man is in hospital after a shooting on a residential road in Southwark. The incident reportedly happened in Chandler Way just after 2.30am on July 30. Officers attended the scene where the man had been shot. He remains in hospital where his injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing. Man, 47, in hospital after Mayfair stabbing A 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing near a luxury hotel in Mayfair. The incident happened in Brook's Mews near Claridge's hotel at 7.55am on July 31. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as non life threatening. No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue. Man, 19, fighting for his life after Kilburn stabbing A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life after a stabbing on Kilburn High Road. The incident happened at the junction of Messina Avenue at 3.10pm on July 31. Emergency services attended and man was found who had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as life-threatening.

Man rushed to hospital after stabbing near Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Mayfair near Claridge's Hotel this morning (Thursday, July 31). Police have reassured the public they are work at a "fast-pace" to catch the person responsible. The 47-year-old man was found with stab wounds on Brook's Mews, not far from Claridge's, at around 7.55am. No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident. His injuries are believed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing. A crime scene remains in place at the scene. 'A man aged 47 was treated by the London Ambulance Service for stab wounds and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. 'An investigation has been launched and a crime scene is currently in place. There have been no arrests at this stage. 'We'd like to reassure the public that officers are carrying out a fast-paced and thorough investigation, and would encourage anyone with information to get in touch.'
