Missing backpacker Caroline Wilga, 26, last seen in WA
Caroline Wilga, 26, was reported missing to police and has not been heard from since June 29.
She was last seen at a convenience store on Stirling Tce near the intersection of Goomalling-Toodyay Rd in Toodyay on June 28.
Ms Wilga, 26, has been backpacking in Australia for the past two years.
Police believe Ms Wilga was travelling through the Wheatbelt region of Wialki near Beacon - about 320km northeast of Perth - when she last contacted friends.
A police spokesman said Ms Wilga has been backpacking in Australia for the past two years, living mostly in hostels, and works at mine sites.
She has a slim build, frizzy-curly long dark blonde hair, brown eyes and several tattoos, including a symbol on her left arm.
Police believe missing backpacker Caroline Wilga is travelling in a black and silver 1995 Mitsubishi Station sedan with WA number plates 1HDS330.

Mr Latham labelled Ms Mathews' allegations of coercive control as 'comically false and ridiculous' in a post on X. 'As the old saying goes, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,' the post said. 'The story says that Ms Matthews went to the police and they did not do anything. They certainly haven't contacted me.' 'Where's your tracker In October, the pair discussed tracking devices. 'I reported the attack on me and the other threats you made that night to parliamentary security, as I am obliged to do,'' Mr Latham said. 'I have also had to see a doctor for the shakes I've had since that nightmarish night, and he advised the same thing. 'You obviously don't understand what you did, drunk, covered in mud, a monster screaming.' Mr Latham defended his taxpayer-funded sexting sessions conducted on the floor of NSW Parliament. After the release of hundreds of leaked text messages including sexual messages sent at the same time as he was sitting in Parliament, Mr Latham has insisted it never impacted his work. 'I don't think responding to a consensual partner on a private, intimate matter in any way has reduced my workload, which I would match up against any other member in the place,' he said.

Private ATMs in tobacco shops face being cut off from payment network EFTEX following ABC investigation
One of Australia's major payment processors will stop handling transactions from private ATMs sited in tobacco shops and will demand detailed information about the machine owners. New South Wales-based EFTEX, which processes transactions for more than 5,500 ATMs, this week told clients that media coverage about ATMs in "high-risk environments" like tobacco stores had triggered increased regulatory scrutiny. The move follows an ABC investigation revealing major private ATM suppliers were fuelling the illegal tobacco industry, placing their machines in tobacconists where they provided an instant source of cash for off the books transactions. Some tiny stores selling illegal tobacco even hosted two machines concurrently to cope with the huge demand for cash that fuels a black-market trade. The ABC also revealed that criminals, including a drug dealer, were able to own and operate the private ATMs, which offer money laundering opportunities when merchants were able to load them with their proceeds of crime. EFTEX said — in conjunction with partners Big Four banks Westpac and ANZ — this meant it would stop processing payments from ATMs in tobacconists. It would also cull services to other "high risk" business operations like the adult entertainment industry from September 15. The changes mark a step in the ATM industry, whose backers include prestigious investment bank Macquarie Group, to divorce itself from the illicit sector. EFTEX, which helps process payments for ATM companies, this week told clients about an upcoming crackdown. "As you are aware there has been increased media coverage of independent ATM operators with ATMs located in high-risk environments," it said in correspondence sighted by the ABC. "This is leading to increased regulatory scrutiny. In response EFTEX and its acquiring partners have agreed to cease processing ATM transactions linked to high-risk locations that include but are not limited to tobacconists and adult entertainment venues." EFTEX also warned it would be seeking detailed information about client's business structures including the identity of owners, as part of its anti-money laundering duties. "This will include information on directors, owners' franchises, sub-ATM deployers (businesses deploying private ATMs) and cash providers etc,'' said the correspondence. Financial crime compliance expert Neil Browne said the move was "absolutely a step in the right direction" and should be replicated across the industry. "EFTEX is beginning to understand who its customers are and any underlying risks associated with those customers,'' said Mr Browne. "Other providers should be taking similar steps". The company boasts it handles $30 billion worth of transactions annually. EFTEX was contacted for comment.

‘My vision': Queensland move ends in tragedy for skincare power couple
The power couple behind a multimillion-dollar skincare brand moved from Melbourne to Queensland to escape 'continuous lockdowns' in 2022, but the sea-change would end in tragedy after the husband was stabbed to death in front of their beach home this week. Zdravko Bilic, 57, was stabbed multiple times in the stomach outside the couple's $2.5 million home on the Sunshine Coast on Monday around 7.30pm after what police are calling a 'disturbance' outside the five-bedroom home in Warrana. On Thursday morning, two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, were charged with the man's death. Mr Bilic's wife Gry Tomte, 53, is the founder of HUD, a high-end skin brand, and detailed how the couple moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2022 after Covid-19. Ms Tomte told her social media followers that the lockdowns had taken the 'shine' off Melbourne. She said she and Mr Bilic could not be happier with the decision to pack up and move to the Sunshine Coast in 2022, taking their two huskies with them. 'My vision four years ago was to create the life I'm lucky to live right now,' she wrote. 'Two years ago I would have never in a million years believed that I'd be doing a different job and living in another state 100 meters from miles of beach front.' Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Detective Inspector Chris Toohey said Mr Bilic was home alone at the time. He said Mr Bilic's wife was away on a business trip and raised the alarm when she had not heard from her husband for some time. '[Ms Tomte] was concerned because she hadn't heard from him and as a result spoke to the neighbour who made the emergency call,' he said. Mr Bilic and Ms Tomte purchased the Sunshine Coast house in December 2021 before settling into the home in March the following year. Inspector Toohey said Mr Bilic was a 'valued member of the community' and that his 'terrible' death shocked their neighbours. 'He is a community-minded person that was well-loved in the area,' he told reporters. Warana is considered one of the safest areas of the Sunshine Coast, known for its up-market homes and stretches of beaches. 'We pride ourselves on having, trying to maintain a safer environment for all our residents and of course being a tourist destination – we also like for people coming to visit to feel safe,' Inspector Toohey said. 'So [Mr Bilic's death] is a shock. 'It makes us more vigilant to maintain that level of safety and make sure that we hold the [alleged] offenders to account.' Tomte makes statement On Thursday morning, Ms Tomte made a statement about her husband's death on Instagram. 'I know many of you have read and seen the news,' she said. 'There is no way I can capture the immense grief I feel over losing the most beautiful man. 'My world from 28 years.' Mr Bilic's social media pages are filled with overseas adventures alongside Ms Tomte, including trips of Europe and the United States. A keen soccer fan, Mr Bilic previously worked for a bus company while the pair were living in Melbourne. Mr Bilic was born in Zagreb, Croatia, however, the pair spent a long stint in Canada before making Australia their permanent home.
