Tesco's take on the waterproof makes the supermarket a no-brainer for bargain hunters who still want to stay stylish in the rain
Credit: Tesco
Rain or shine, it's the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe - without the posh price tag.

The longline fit adds extra coverage and style, making it the perfect throw-on for festivals, park days or last-minute dashes to the shop.
It's lightweight, packs down easily, and gives major high-street vibes without the hefty price tag.
With its A-line shape and floaty sleeves, this water-resistant cape doesn't just keep you dry – it looks good doing it.
The popper fastenings make it easy to throw on in a downpour, and it's 100% polyester and machine washable.
It comes in classic black or on-trend khaki – and it's a steal at just £17.
Festival-proof, fashion-forward and budget-friendly – what's not to love?
I'm a size 14 and did the best Tesco summer haul - run before new co-ord sells out
HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO DESIGNERS
John Lewis has a near-identical cape in navy – though it'll set you back £47.
That's £30 more than Tesco's take, making the supermarket steal a no-brainer for bargain hunters who still want to stay stylish in the rain.
Tesco's cape is made from polyester, while John Lewis uses nylon – but when it comes to keeping dry, both do the job.
Polyester offers a lightweight, breathable feel, while nylon is known for being a touch more durable.
But at a massive £30 less, Tesco's version still comes out on top for style and savings.
ONLINE CHANGE
Tesco made a major change to F&F clothing in May.
The UK's biggest supermarket has officially re-launched the clothing brand online for the first time in seven years.
Shoppers were first able to buy the F&F range on a separate site from 2009 before it was moved onto Tesco Direct in 2016.
However, it was ditched in 2018.
Customers could still buy items from the collection through Next until this January, until it stopped stocking the range.
Tesco shoppers can now pick up F&F-branded clothes via Tesco.com and the supermarket's Grocery and Clubcard app.
If you don't have the app you can download it for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The collection includes women's, men's and kids' clothing, as well as footwear and accessories.
Shoppers looking to pick up F&F items online will have to pay a £3.99 home delivery fee on all orders.
How has Tesco's F&F upped its game
By Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend
ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices.
But recently those prices have risen with the brand's popularity.
However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn't drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead.
F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands.
They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame.
F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 - and you can get them while you pick up your dinner.
I for one love F&F denim, it's durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes.
So even if you're not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco.

Struggling single mum surviving on just £125 a MONTH fights tears at £250-a-night hotel on Rich Holiday, Poor Holiday
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A STRUGGLING single mother who lives on just £125 a month after bills are paid, found herself fighting back tears on tonight's episode of Rich Holiday, Poor Holiday. Kelly, a cash-strapped mum-of-one and her bestie Lewie, took part in the Channel 5 experiment and found themselves in Northern Italy, with go-getting grandmas Jackie and Martine, both former pro dancers. Opening up about her hardships as a single mother to an eight-year-old, Kelly, who is from Portsmouth, explained: 'I work as hard as I can. 'Sometimes I'll even work a night shift, just because the night shifts are a bit more money.' But despite putting in the graft, every month after bills and food, Kelly is left with just £125 - so it's no surprise that luxury all-inclusive holidays are out of the question. The brunette confirmed: 'There's so much you want to buy but you can't, so I don't spend on things that aren't necessarily needed.' Kelly and Lewie, who met through friends 11 years ago and have been inseparable ever since, typically go for cheap-as-chips holidays to caravan sites. And to keep costs down, it's self-catering or budget fast food. The mother explained: 'We love Benidorm, or we'll do a nice little caravan break. 'We don't go out to eat that much, if we do we get a sharing platter and it works out cheaper.' But in tonight's episode, the pair were whisked off to live the high life at a majestic castle with Jackie and Martine, both of whom have travelled to the world's most exclusive destinations. I'm a mum-of-5 on £1.5K Universal Credit per month - people think I'm popping kids out to get 'lots of money' but I still have to use food banks - its embarrassing 'We're taking part in this to see how the other half live,' Kelly shared. Unlike Kelly and Lewie, not only are Jackie and Martine used to splashing the cash on fancy food and high adrenaline activities, but Jackie once spent a night in a £12,000-a-night hotel in Sweden. Once they arrived at the Veneto region of Northern Italy, the four best pals stayed in a former castle, the grand Hotel CastelBrando - a lavish hotel fit for a king, nestled in the Prosecco hills. The money you spend on certain things here is a three/four day holiday for us Kelly And it didn't take long before it all appeared very overwhelming for Kelly, as moments after entertaining the £250 a night suite, she admitted: 'It's just something else…quite emotional, there might be some tears shed.' Clearly blown away by the jaw-dropping room, she gasped: 'I don't think I have any words.' Moments later, Martine observed: 'I could see a bit of a tear in Kelly's eye, it's overwhelming for her to see such splender.' 7 They stayed in a former castle, the grand Hotel CastelBrando Credit: Channel 5 7 Kelly described the suite as "something else" Credit: Channel 5 7 The single mother was shocked to see glasses of Dom Perignon for £430 and soft drinks for almost £14 Credit: Channel 5 And it wasn't just a posh hotel Kelly and Lewie were treated to - on the once-in-a-lifetime trip they also got a tour of Venice, with a £250 gondola ride and time at the spa, to which Kelly said: 'It's a lot different to arcades.' The shock continued for bargain hunters Kelly and Lewie, who were gobsmacked by the 'disgusting' prices, with £13.80 soft drinks and £430 glasses of Dom Perignon. Why caravan holidays are so underrated CARAVAN park holidays are a British staple. And with the cost of living crisis wreaking havoc on Britain's purses, more of us are turning to them for an affordable break. Josie O'Brien, Senior Digital Writer on Fabulous, weighs in on why she thinks caravan holidays are seriously underrated... WHEN I was a child, my mum used to collect the £9.50 holiday vouchers in The Sun. She'd use them to book a couple of nights away at a caravan park during the school holidays. As an adult, I fully appreciate the convenience of a humble caravan holiday. No faffing about with passports, no luggage limits and no bog-standard hotel breakfast of stale toast and grey eggs. I still love caravan holidays as an adult. In a world of doing everything for the 'gram, a caravan park brings you back to basics. There's no obligation to get dressed up, no stress to fit a million picturesque excursions in one week and I don't find myself flustered in tourist hot spots like abroad. I love going to coastal caravan parks and strolling along the beach parade. My highlight is always fresh mussels, ice-creams and classic pubs to grab an afternoon tipple in. And then, of course, there's the cost. Staying in a caravan is definitely way cheaper than my international trips. With no expensive hotel bills and the ability to cook my own meals, I'm spending hundreds less than I would abroad. I've had some of my best and most relaxing holidays in caravans. Maybe I'll buy my own one day. To this, Kelly claimed: 'The money you spend on certain things here is a three/four day holiday for us.' After dining at a £70-per-head restaurant, Kelly and Lewie were told that their holiday had a total cost of £8,118. To this, the single mother said: 'I'll be honest, it's not what I would expect for the money that's been spent.' I work as hard as I can. Sometimes I'll even work a night shift, just because the night shifts are a bit more money Kelly Whilst Lewie chimed in: 'That's five months worth of wages for me for this summer. An obscene amount for a holiday. 'Astonishing. We would rather stick to our budget holidays. Luxury isn't for me.' Despite her shock at the cost, Kelly beamed: 'It turned out to be an amazing week with beautiful places, beautiful people, friends who are friends for life now. 'That just shows you don't need to have money to have fun.' Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club

New Mario game kept me up until 1am – it's a perfect multiplayer title for kids this summer or late nights with pals
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A GREAT measure for a game is when it's so fun, you completely lose track of time. Ticking that box is Nintendo's revamped Super Mario Party Jamboree, which kept not only me but six pals awake until 1am. If you've got kids, this is an absolute dream family title. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 11 Super Mario Party Jamboree is a favourite at home Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun 11 It's a brilliant Mario-themed party game Credit: Nintendo 11 The game has been upgraded for the new Nintendo Switch 2 Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun The game actually came out in October 2024, but it's just been upgraded for the new Nintendo Switch 2. WHAT IS SUPER MARIO PARTY JAMBOREE? This new version has some extra modes and mini-games, but it's largely the same game. Super Mario Party Jamboree (Nintendo Switch 2), £66.99 And it really is a good game. If you're new to the Mario Party franchise, it's basically a giant collection of mini-games with very low barriers to entry. You can just pick it up and play. It's fine to play solo, although it's way better if you've got someone else with you. We had friends visit recently, and it kept us up late into the night. It's moreish, like spicy crisps. Or most other Mario games. If you've ever played Jackbox Games, Mario Party serves a similar purpose. It's packed with loads of Mario-themed mini-games. Some of them demand speedy reactions, while others will challenge your memory. And some even involve physical movement – like flapping your arms in the air while holding the Joy-Con controllers to fly. If you're alone then you'll play against the computer. The Sun tries new Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart before it's out But with friends, you can take on each other – or even team up – in a bid to win. SUPER MARIO PARTY JAMBOREE GAMEPLAY The good thing is that all of the games are very simple. There are dozens on offer, and you'll easily pick any of them up in seconds. And they're all bright, colourful challenges where you'll play as (and alongside) iconic Mario characters. 11 You'll explore Mario's world and enjoy loads of mini-games Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun 11 Playing with friends makes it even more fun – especially if you have the camera accessory Credit: Nintendo One fun game saw me collecting coins on shifting sands. Spiky bars rolled right at me, so I had to quickly sidestep or leap in the air to dodge them. Another had me yanking bread out of an oven – but only once it had baked to perfection. Too soon? No coins! You can enjoy a sort of 'Grand Prix' of mini-game series, so you'll earn points after a few rounds – and then see who came out on top. If you've got four people playing at once, it's very high energy. This is great for a child's party, or an adult's party for that matter. 11 It's bright and colourful, and extremely easy to pick up Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game has some clever upgrades. They're mostly tucked into a new section of the game called Jamboree TV. One of the main differences here is a set of games built for mouse-style controls. That's made possible by the Switch 2's upgraded Joy-Cons, which can be placed on a surface to work just like a computer mouse. Picture Credit: 11 It's fun for players of all ages – even if you've never really played video games before Credit: Nintendo But it's worth noting that mouse control games require a single Joy-Con per person and a surface. Oh, and you can't use the Pro Controller for those games either, as it doesn't have mouse functionality. If you have the Nintendo camera accessory (keep in mind, this is £50!), you can play three games that make use of it. It's a bit like the old Xbox Kinect camera system. One involves following physical commands, which is fun if you like moving around. Probably the best is Goombalancing Act, where you try not to drop Goombas balancing on top of your head. 11 There are dozens of mini-games to play Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun So what's bad? Well, there are a few downsides. It took me quite a while to actually get playing. I'd say there's a good five minutes of unskippable content before you can start. It's not the end of the world, but I'd rather have just been able to get going right away. As well as that, the game has a £66.99 price tag attached. So you'll want to make sure you're going to get enough use out of it. IS SUPER MARIO PARTY JAMBOREE WORTH BUYING? It's always tempting to just stick on Mario Kart. And the new Mario Kart World is very good. 11 Some of the games make use of the Joy-Con mouse feature Credit: Nintendo In fact, it's probably enough reason to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 alone. But Super Mario Party Jamboree is a great alternative with loads of variety, and sparks a bit more chat than a regular Mario Kart game. You're also far less likely to see major skill differences on this versus Mario Kart. Rather than one person always winning, you might be good at one mini-game and rubbish at the next. 11 You'll recognise loads of classic Mario characters Credit: Sean Keach / The Sun There's loads of variety so you won't get bored. And it's simple enough for basically anyone to play – even people who aren't used to holding game controllers. This really is as close as it gets to "fun for the whole family". It's not exactly cheap at £67, but if you snap it up now, you'll probably get loads of play-time in over summer. And then again at Christmas. The Sun says: One of the best "family" games out there – but it's perfect for a night with friends too. A mini-game treasure trove that will hook Mario fans, and convert everyone else. 4.5/5 Super Mario Party Jamboree (Nintendo Switch 2), £66.99 11 Nintendo fans will get hours of fun from Super Mario Party Jamboree Credit: Nintendo All prices in this article were correct at the time of writing, but may have since changed. Always do your own research before making any purchase.
