Settlers erect fence around lands in Masafer Yatta
Zionist settlers erected a fence around large areas of citizens' land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Friday.
Media activist Osama Makhamreh told the Palestinian News Agency that settlers from the Karmiel settlement erected a fence around large areas of citizens' land belonging to the Awad and Daoud families in Khirbet Umm al-Khair.
He added that the settlers set up a mobile room on the eastern side of the village and prevented residents from accessing the area.
Settlers also released their livestock among agricultural crops and olive trees in most areas and villages of Masafer Yatta.
Makhamereh indicated that there is a plan to seize more citizens' land in Masafer Yatta, as these plans aim to force residents to leave their lands for the benefit of settlement expansion.

Quds – SABA: Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Al-Eizariya, southeast of occupied Quds, and Azzun, east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank, on Thursday evening. The Jerusalem Governorate confirmed that Israeli forces stormed Al-Eizariya and raided the mourning tent of martyr Bassam Ibrahim Abu Sunaina, attacking mourners, confiscating car keys, and subjecting them to field interrogations. Abu Sunaina (52), an ex-prisoner exiled to Gaza since 2011, was martyred along with his child earlier Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency 'WAFA.' In Azzun, local sources reported that Israeli forces entered through the town's main northern entrance, deployed in the central district (Post Office Street), and began raiding homes. Among the houses raided were those of Abdullah Radwan and Radwan Radwan, the latter of which was turned into a military post. Recently, Israeli forces have intensified the practice of converting Palestinian homes into military outposts in the West Bank. Residents are forcibly evicted, their property looted or destroyed, and entire neighborhoods declared closed military zones, in clear violation of international law, according to a report from the Palestinian Government Media Center.
