On high ticket prices and food and beverage rates at multiplexes, Khan said, "I think multiplexes have been made since 2005-2006. And because of that, their investments are so heavy. The rent they pay in big cities are very high. And the kind of convenience they give in multiplexes. It is very posh and high-level, and thus the cost of those things increases. The cost of tickets increases. The cost of food and drinks also increases. It is like when you go to a 5-star hotel. You will get the same tea at a very low price. In a 5-star hotel, you will get it at a very high price. Because in a 5-star hotel, they are giving you more facilities. They are giving you a 5-star environment."
Aamir Khan has announced that 'Sitaare Zameen Par' will be released on the official YouTube channel of Aamir Khan Talkies from August 1 under a pay-per-view model. The film, which was released in theatres on June 20, is a sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par' and features Khan as a basketball coach training a team of neurodivergent children.
Addressing the affordability issue further, Khan said, "Most of the multiplexes. I won't say every multiplex. But most of the multiplexes have become very posh. Until you don't have a certain level of economic earnings, you won't be able to go there. The model I have made also addresses that. The people who can't afford such a posh environment. They are my audience. I want to reach them. In this way, every person can enjoy the cinema. They can enjoy the cinema of their choice."
The ace star shared that his platform also gives opportunities to creative people, especially those who are new. Another thing is that the creative people. If we release films on this model. Genelia, who made her film debut in 2003 with Tujhe Meri Kasam, did South films from the early days of her career. About the current pan-India trend, she says, 'I don't know why it took so long. I did it very early in my career, and I did it with pride. I just wanted to do good films; it was never about pitching one above the other. Earlier, the perception was that Bollywood dropouts make it big in the South. I've done some of my best work there. I thought my first film would be my last, and then I would take up a 9-5 job. But then I got a lot of work in the South and started falling in love with acting because of South cinema.' Talking about her break from movies, she says, 'During the last 10 years, I did special appearances whenever my friends asked me to. She says, 'I wish we would write more stories about women who are in their 30s, 40s or 50s. There are so many dynamics to that, which is interesting. Love stories aren't just for the young. Why isn't there a love story of a 30-year-old girl or a single mother? Love doesn't happen only when you are in college. I don't think I could play a good mom on screen if I weren't a mom in real life. I think you bring nuances to the screen when you actually live it. Which is why I say that actors should be cast as per the demand of the role and not because of their Instagram following or because they are number one, two or three.'

Johny Lever Says He Was A 'Drunkard', Would Drink Till 4 AM At Chowpatty: 'Had Crossed My Limits'
Johnny Lever recalled that he would drink every day at Mumbai's Chowpatty Beach, and the police—recognizing him—would allow him to do so safely in their car. Johny Lever has spent over forty years in the industry, and has seen his own fair share of ups and downs. At one point, he was one of the most successful comedians, acting in films and performing on stage. In a recent chat with comedians Sapan Verma, Aakash Gupta, and his daughter Jamie Lever, Johny revealed that he used to be heavily into drinking, staying at Mumbai's Chowpatty drinking until 4 am. During an appearance on Sapan Verma's YouTube show, Johny, joined by his daughter Jamie, reminisced about his demanding schedule and how his overwhelming success negatively impacted his health and lifestyle. He explained that he often felt exhausted, juggling film shoots during the day and stage performances at night, combined with heavy drinking. This routine left him feeling completely drained. Despite his exhaustion, Johny consistently delivered his performances, although he felt completely depleted afterwards. He advised moderation, sharing his own experience of excessive drinking until 4 am at Chowpatty, where even the police, recognizing him, allowed him to drink safely in their car. 'I request people—limit mein piyo (drink in moderation). I had crossed my limits, and it's not worth it. I was a drunkard. I would sit at Chowpatty and drink till 4 in the morning. Many times, the police would come, but when they recognised me, they would laugh and say, 'Arre, Johnny bhai,' and let me sit in their car to continue drinking safely," he said. Discussing the impact of success, Johny noted that his constant presence in movies and international shows led to a loss of self. He ultimately decided to quit drinking and has remained sober for the past 24 years. 'Success can mess with your mind. At one point, no movie was made without me. I was also doing international shows and constantly traveling. I lost myself in all of it," he said. In recent years, Johny Lever has become selective with his roles. This year, he has already appeared in three movies: Badass Ravi Kumar, Be Happy, and Housefull 5, with another film, Welcome To The Jungle, set to release, although the official date is yet to be announced.
