Who Is ‘Destination X' Contestant Biggy Bailey? Everything We Know About the Content Creator So Far
In Touch reveals everything to know so far about the competitor.
Biggy is a successful content creator and a sports bettor. He is described as a 'walking sports encyclopedia' who 'excels at calculating risk and crunching numbers,' according to NBC. Additionally, he was able to learn 'the skill of persuasion and convincing others to follow his lead' from his prior experience as a sales manager.
Despite being on a reality competition show that revolves around travel and calls for competitors to have an extensive knowledge of European geography and culture, Biggy had only traveled throughout the United States and Mexico prior to his stint on the series.
What he didn't know from experience, he made up for with studying — and it paid off! In the series premiere episode, he showed off his skills in the suitcase challenge, when he got six European country-related clues correct in a row. He would have won the challenge if fellow contestants Ally Bross and Mack Fitzgerald hadn't teamed up to snag the win by a hair with seven tags.
He also avoided being the first player sent home by correctly guessing they were in Rome in the map room.
He is from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Biggy has racked up a sizable social media following over the years. On his TikTok, where he is known as 'biggycookthebook,' he has a whopping 1.2 million followers.
He also has over 21,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
Aside from his work on social media, he additionally hosts a podcast called 'Cook the Book.' In the Spotify summary for the show, he describes the podcast as 'Biggy touching on the topics that matter (not really).'
Destination X takes competitors on the journey of a lifetime as they make their way through Europe in a blacked-out bus where they 'eat, sleep and travel together' while strategizing and navigating the ever-changing dynamics with other contestants in the group.
Throughout the course of the season, each player must take on a number of high-pressure challenges and interpret sneaky clues – and also weed out the occasional red herrings – given by host Jeffrey Dean Morgan in order to find out exactly where in the world they are.
'They will need to rely on their knowledge of pop culture, history, geography and observational skills to win clues to their current location and earn an all-important advantage,' the NBC press release read. 'The players each share an unmistakable sense of wanderlust, but with constantly shifting alliances and unexpected adversaries, they're forced to discover who they can trust, whose strengths will take them the farthest and who to send to the Map Room.'
According to his bio, Biggy plans to use his 'loveable' and 'outgoing' personality to 'strategically connect with his competitors and do whatever it takes to win the game.'
The first episode of Destination X premieres on May 27, 2025. Fans can continue to follow Biggy's journey on the show on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC or catch it streaming the next day on Peacock.

All I can say is that I wish I didn't wait so long! I have blonde, very thin, fine hair, and always struggle with products weighing down my hair/making it look dirty; this doesn't do that at all. No passport, no problem: 5 US towns that feel like Europe
While an international jet set trip may not be feasible, travelers need not abandon their dreams of a European summer. This summer, idyllic destinations such as Gran Canaria in Spain and the Campania region in Italy trended among travelers, according to Expedia's Summer Travel Outlook. Those who are yearning to sip on an Aperol spritz in Positano but can't make the journey can find a similar experience right here in the U.S. Across the nation, there are several charming destinations offering the same iconic European ambience and natural beauty without the price tag – or effort – of crossing oceans. Here's another bonus: no passport needed. Here are five domestic gems to sub in for a dreamy European getaway, according to boat-renting platform Boatsetter. Round-trip vs one-way: Which airfare trick really saves you money? | Cruising Altitude Spain for St. Augustine, Fla. Dating back to the 1500s as the oldest city in the continental U.S., St. Augustine exudes a charm similar to the sunny coast of Spain. "Growing up in Florida, I didn't realize just how much St. Augustine mirrored the charm of coastal Spain – the architecture, the history, the colors," said Caitlin Choate, Boatsetter's chief marketing officer. Travelers can wander the picturesque town, relax at one of the white sand beaches Florida is famous for, or even explore a Spanish fortress dating from the city's colonial era. Italian Riviera for Catalina Island, Calif. Catalina Island seems like miles away from the U.S., even though it's just an hour off the coast of Southern California. The island's picturesque mountainous backdrop dotted with cliffside homes overlooking crystal-clear waters, plus a quaint main street and beach club, lends to the feeling of an Italian escape. "Catalina Island has an Italian Riviera vibe, and it's an easy day trip from Los Angeles or Long Beach," said Choate. "Rent a boat with a captain and snorkel the coves around the island before stopping in Avalon for ice cream." Switzerland for Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Making it out to the Alps isn't feasible for everyone, but Coeur d'Alene in Idaho provides travelers with a similarly stunning lakeside resort town. "Coeur d'Alene is like an alpine lake you'd find in Switzerland but with the laid-back energy of the Pacific Northwest," said Choate. Think glassy water with mountains for the backdrop. Quite an undiscovered hidden gem." Travelers can relax at the beach, take a boat out on the lake, or hike the miles of pristine nature trails. The Mediterranean for Santa Barbara, Calif. Located less than two hours from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara is known as the American Riviera for its chic and sunshine-drenched atmosphere, according to Travel + Leisure. "Santa Barbara has this effortless blend of California cool and European charm – white-stucco buildings, breezy marinas," said Choate. Travelers can enjoy the beaches tucked under cliffs, sip wine at one of the several wineries or explore the shops and restaurants along the pier. Greece for Tarpon Springs, Fla. With heavy influence from the largest population of Greek-Americans in the U.S., Tarpon Springs is perfect for travelers wishing for a Greek getaway. Set along Florida's Gulf Coast, Tarpon Springs' downtown mirrors a Greek village with splashes of white and blue architecture, delicious Greek cuisine and charming docks where sponge divers park their boats.

Never fear, reaction videos are still allowed under YouTube's new 'inauthentic content' policy
YouTube has clarified its rules about repetitious content and your favorite reaction video channel won't be impacted. Earlier this month, the platform said it would be changing its rules for monetization in an effort to address AI-generated materials, but didn't include many specifics, which led many to sound the alarm that reaction videos might get swept up in the new rules. The company has now provided a few tweaks and more clear delineations in its guidelines about channel monetization policies. For starters, the rule is being renamed to the inauthentic content policy. "This type of content has always been ineligible for monetization under our existing policies, where creators are rewarded for original and authentic content," a note appended to the support page states. "There is no change to our reused content policy which reviews content like commentary, clips, compilations and reaction videos." YouTube provided a few examples of material that it would deem to be mass-produced or overly repetitive, and thus ineligible to be monetized. Inauthentic content includes video "that exclusively features readings of other materials you did not originally create, like text from websites or news feeds" or "image slideshows or scrolling text with minimal or no narrative, commentary, or educational value." The company also shared examples of reused content. YouTube said those beloved reaction channels, as well as videos that contain clips for analysis, review or commentary, are unaffected by the new rules. The no-nos for reused content rules might include "Content uploaded many times by other creators" or "Content downloaded or copied from another online source without any substantive modifications."
