Kangana Ranaut meets AiR-Atman in Ravi during her Shivoman Shiva temple visit; Calls their conversation "deeply meaningful"

Time of India13-06-2025
Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Kangana Ranaut recently embraced a quieter and more introspective journey as she paid a visit to the 30-year-old Shivoham Shiva and Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Bengaluru.
Home to a majestic 65-foot Shiva statue and a tranquil meditation sanctuary, the temple stands as an epitome of serenity. Kangana's recent visit to these two iconic spiritual places reflects on her deep-rooted faith and devotion.
O
ne of the major highlights of her visit was her heart-to-heart conversation with AiR-Atman in Ravi, the Happiness Ambassador, spiritual leader, and founder of Shivoham Shiva Temple.
Reflecting on her experience, Kangana Ranaut shared, 'This temple is not just a place of worship, but a powerful centre of spiritual energy. I was truly in awe of its divine beauty and serenity. The vibrations here are incredibly uplifting—it's the kind of place that calls you to sit, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. My conversation with AiR was deeply meaningful, and his vision of inner awakening resonates with me.

Whenever I'm in Bengaluru, I would love to return here to meditate and immerse myself in this sacred atmosphere.'
The spiritual leader also gave a warm welcome to Kangana and praised her genuine quest for inner peace. 'It was an honour to welcome Kangana Ranaut to the Shivoham Shiva Temple. Her openness to spiritual exploration and her quest for deeper understanding truly reflect what this temple stands for,' mentioned AiR-Atman in Ravi.
He continued, 'Our conversation was a beautiful exchange of thoughts on life, consciousness, and the pursuit of inner peace. It's heartening to see public figures embrace and encourage spiritual growth—a path that ultimately leads us to our true self, the Atman. Realising that 'I am not the body; I am the Divine Soul' is the beginning of true bliss. This realisation is the ultimate goal of life.''
In a world that's constantly moving, Kangana's spiritual stopover appears like a much-needed pause.

Shriya Pilgaonkar: I don't want to be boxed into righteous roles

Shriya Pilgaonkar Shriya Pilgaonkar has steadily built a reputation in the OTT space for portraying grounded, layered characters. But with that visibility has come a growing perception — one she's now keen to challenge. In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the actress, who was recently seen as cop Devika Rathore in Chhal Kapat - The Deception, says, 'The general perception is that I'm associated with roles that are righteous. Once I realised that, I knew I had to break it. My focus now is to be reimagined. For that, I want to work with makers who see me differently.' She shares that in an upcoming project, despite it being a guest appearance, she is playing a part very different from anything she has done so far. She says, 'People are going to say, 'Oh, how come you thought of her for it?' It's a part that's on the opposite end of the spectrum from what I've done. Something no one would have imagined me in.' On the need to break moulds and surprise audiences, she adds, 'That's what keeps me going — the attempt to get people to see me in new ways. You often get offered similar roles because you're not looked at beyond a particular genre. While I don't feel entirely typecast, I do notice shades of it in the work that comes my way.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like One of the Most Successful Investors of All Time, Warren Buffett, Recommends: 5 Books for Turning... She says, 'I'm in a phase where I believe it's important to stay in your power and not constantly chase validation. That can be a slippery path. I don't know where it will go, but I'm attempting to create something for myself with like-minded people.' Shriya has appeared in films across multiple languages, including Ekulti Ek, Fan, House Arrest, Haathi Mere Saathi, and Dry Day. Wimbledon: Novak Djokovic on a roll! Record-chasing Serb scripts his 99th win to advance

Church Road's seven-time champion, going for a historic 25th major title, started by silencing the Centre Court crowd, who were firmly behind the home hope, wildcard entrant Daniel Evans, to claim an emphatic 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 win, his 99th Wimbledon match victory. After wrapping up the win in one hour and 47-minutes, Djokovic did a few 'pump-it-up' moves just like after his first-round match. Incidentally, Pump It Up (or Pumpaj) is the official slogan of the student-led protests in Serbia that started in November when a concrete canopy collapsed killing fifteen people at a railway station in Novi Sad. The Serbian superstar has backed the students in the past, notably at Melbourne Park in January. 'It's something between me and my children,' he said of his post-match celebration, wearing a broad smile. It's quite an old song. Good rhythm. We're pumping. We love pumping. We pump after every win.' The sixth-seed's near two-hours on the court was a celebration of his tennis. Djokovic, who had 14 unforced errors and 46 winners in the match, didn't put a foot wrong, saving the two break points he faced in the match, both in the 30-minute third set. The 38-year-old is through to the Wimbledon third round for the 19th time, more than any player in the Open Era. 'If I play like today, I have a very good chance against anybody on the Centre Court of Wimbledon,' he said. 'Game-wise, I'm playing as well as I can, hopefully I can keep it up.' After the win Djokovic ran into Gael Monfils, who at 38 years and 315 days is the oldest player in the draw, the Serbian is the second oldest. 'Gael smiled at me and said, good day in the office,' Djokovic said. 'At this age, we need those types of days,' Djokovic said. Djokovic, looking for a first major title since the 2023 US Open, struggled with a stomach bug in his first round match and needed medical attention on the court. Next up for the sixth seed, playing for a 100th Wimbledon main draw win, is compatriot the world no. 49 Miomir Kecmanovic. In another second-round match, eighth seed Iga Swiatek rallied to score a 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 win over American Caty McNally. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. With Stop Killing Games reaching over a million signatures, what does it mean for the future of game and IP preservation

(Image via Getty Images) The Stop Killing Games movement has finally surpassed one million signatures. It's a pivotal moment within the fight for video game preservation. Born out of player frustration over the vanishing titles, the movement was spearheaded by Ross Scott, challenging publishers' ability to render games unplayable, shutting down the servers. It's a practice that surpassed outrage among worldwide gamers. With this consumer-led push challenging publishers, crossing the threshold, the European Commission must address this issue, potentially paving the way for new laws that can protect digital ownership. Here is all you need to know about what it would mean for the gaming future. Stop Killing Games' one million signatures can be a turning point for digital ownership and IP Preservation The Stop Killing Games initiative is not just about keeping the old games alive, but it is also about redefining what it means to own the game. The petition forces the European regulators to confront the gaming preservation crisis head-on. As of now, many titles, especially the online-only titles, become inaccessible as the servers go offline. Big update on Stop Killing Games! The Crew shutdown by Ubisoft last year was a wake-up call, proving that even the single-player experiences could vanish overnight, erasing consumer investments and cultural artifacts. Now with a million-signature threshold, it's guaranteed to have a formal EU review, which would potentially reshape the digital ownership laws. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like La rutina de abs que necesitas [Descubre] VIDA FIT Leer más Undo Stop Killing Games And The Future Of Video Game Preservation The Stop Killing Games petition argues that consumers have the right to retain all access to games they have purchased. If this becomes successful, legislative action can mandate publishers to provide offline switches or private server options before a game shuts down. Quite crucially, it will reframe games as the lasting products and not some disposable services—label the game as a license or product at purchase. For now, publishers have control over the game IP. It allows them to shut the services just as they wish to, without buyers having any legal recourse, but with new laws, it will limit publishers' control. Companies would be required to preserve the playable versions and more. As noted by professionals, the initiative taps into deeper anxieties as players do not just lose entertainment, but they also lose personal history. The campaign, though, can pressure studios to design games with longevity and not obsolescence in their minds. Setting legal precedents can ensure that future games remain playable long after the official support ends. Why does Stop Killing Games' 1 million signatures matter? To reach one million signatures isn't a small feat. It legally requires the European Commission to consider this petition. For now, the organizers have still not stopped. Concerns over some invalid signatures because of spoofing or errors have pushed the Stop Killing Games campaign to aim for 1.4 million, just as a safety net. The petition now centers around overdrive mode till the deadline of July 31, 2025, urging all European gamers to fortify the count. The movement has already gained traction, that's beyond the EU. In the United Kingdom, a parallel petition has already surpassed one hundred thousand signatures. It forced some parliamentary discussions. Even Australia, Germany, and France didn't stay behind. They have launched their investigations into consumer rights violations related to the shutdown of games. Stop Killing Games' momentum has brought unstoppable ripple effects Stop Killing Games Was Doomed. Now It Can't Be Stopped The entire momentum suggests that public pressure is working. Ubisoft, a company that stands at the center of this entire controversy, has already started testing offline models for The Crew 2 and Motorfest. Indie studios like Blizzard (Spellbreak) and Valon (Knockout City) released peer-to-peer/private server tools after the shutdown. It's a sign that the publishers are taking notice, despite the fact that it's not a legal mandate yet, but it has already made the industry's attitudes shift. California's new law even requires a license, not product labels, for all the online-dependent games. It shows regulatory winds changing, too. Even Steam now has explicitly stated that purchases are licenses and not owned copies. The true victory of the movement is that now, if a game is sold without an expiration date, it must not vanish. Preservation has become the default expectation and not just a plea. What's next? With the petition's deadline approaching it's end date, July 31, 2025, this campaign is in the final push. If it is able to secure enough valid signatures, the EU can introduce binding legislation. It can force publishers to rethink how they design and sunset any game. For the gamers, this isn't any longer about nostalgia, but now it is about legacy, fairness, and also game's ownership. No one knows if the petition will lead to a change, but it has already sparked global conversations which would indefinitely not fade away any sooner. If you wish to be a part of it, sign the petition if you are eligible, and spread the word, as once a game's gone, it might be gone truly forever.
