Active crime scene after two people seriously hurt in Milton, State Police say
Police say that around 7:35 PM, Troopers were dispatched to the area of 267 Blue Hills Parkway in Milton to reports of a possible stabbing.
Once on the scene, troopers found two victims lying on the ground, suffering from serious injuries.
As soon as the area was secured, State Police requested mutual aid from the Norfolk County Detectives Unit, Child Support Services Division, and a State Police chemist.
A State Police K9 unit was also dispatched on scene, alongside assistance from the Milton Police Department.
The scene remains active and under investigation.

Police continuing to investigate after woman, 23, fatally shot in southwest Calgary parkade
The Calgary Police Service is looking for more information from the public as they continue to investigate a fatal shooting in the southwest neighbourhood of Haysboro. The victim, identified as Madisson Cobb, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene after she was shot in a parking garage at the 8700 block of Horton Road S.W. around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Police believe the shooting was targeted. Police said that Cobb had just finished work and was walking to her vehicle when the incident occurred. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. In a press conference Sunday, Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson of the CPS homicide unit described the incident as a 'very cowardly act,' and said investigators are pursuing all possible leads. 'This is tragic. It's horrible, and it's actually maddening that somebody can't walk to their vehicle safely in the city,' he said. Police have released surveillance footage of a white Toyota RAV4 with stolen British Columbia license plate PP322J that was seen leaving the scene. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle was parked on the fourth level of the parkade, while the shooting happened on a publicly accessible level near the victim's vehicle, which is connected to The Shops at Heritage shopping plaza. The victim is not believed to be a resident in the connected apartment complex. Police were unable to confirm whether there was any prior relationship between Cobb and the suspect, but said they are looking into past interactions. 'We're aware of past history,' Sgt. Gregson said. 'I'm going to leave it at that for now, but we're looking at all avenues that could lead to yesterday's events.' Residents of the apartment complex said they weren't aware a shooting had occurred but had suspected something serious due to the large police presence Saturday night. 'I feel unsafe,' said resident Alex Hui. 'I think the security could be better as well.' Investigators are asking anyone who interacted with Cobb in the days leading up to the shooting, or who has information about the incident, to come forward. Police are also seeking dashcam footage from the area of Horton Road S.W. at Heritage Drive S.W., heading westbound towards 14th Street S.W. between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Off-Duty Customs Officer Shot in Robbery Attempt in Park, N.Y.P.D. Says
An off-duty customs officer was shot in the face and arm during a robbery attempt at a park in Manhattan late Saturday night, police officials said. The officer, 42, was sitting with a friend on rocks at the water's edge along the Hudson River in Upper Manhattan just before midnight when two men rode up on a scooter, Jessica Tisch, the police commissioner, said at a news conference Sunday afternoon. When one of the men approached the officer and revealed a firearm, the officer realized he was being robbed and drew his service weapon, Commissioner Tisch said. The robber fired his weapon first, and the two men exchanged gunfire, she said. The robber was also shot and limped back to the scooter, and he fled the scene with his companion, Commissioner Tisch said, adding that the attack was captured by security cameras. The commissioner said there was no indication that the officer, whom the police have not named, had been targeted for his employment. He is expected to recover from his injuries. The police have detained Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, 21, as a person of interest in relation to the shooting, Commissioner Tisch said. Mr. Mora walked into a hospital in the Bronx shortly after the attempted robbery with gunshot wounds to the groin and the leg, she said, which were consistent with the injuries sustained by the man who shot the officer as captured on video. Mr. Mora underwent surgery and is in custody at Lincoln Hospital, and he is expected to be arrested on Sunday, Commissioner Tisch said. The police are looking for his accomplice in the shooting, who has not been identified. Officials said that Mr. Mora entered the United States illegally in 2023 through Arizona. He was arrested twice previously on domestic violence charges in New York, and officials had issued an arrest warrant after he failed to show up to a court date in one of those cases, Commissioner Tisch said on Sunday. Mr. Mora is also wanted in connection with a robbery in December and a stabbing in January, both of which occurred in the Bronx, as well as a pawnshop robbery in Massachusetts in February in which guns were stolen, the commissioner said. Hegseth abandoned by aides as Pentagon left in turmoil
Pete Hegseth has lost his sixth senior aide in as many months, with the defence secretary's struggle to retain key staff leaving the Pentagon in limbo. Justin Fulcher, who resigned on Saturday, was named as an adviser to Mr Hegseth in April after joining the Trump administration as part of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (Doge). Mr Fulcher said he only planned to work for the government for six months, but his departure is the latest of a string of top Hegseth aides to quit the Pentagon. Mr Fulcher had been involved in a confrontation with Doge staff members assigned to the Pentagon in April, the Washington Post reported, but officials insisted his departure was amicable. Sean Parnell, the chief Pentagon spokesman, said: 'The Department of Defense is grateful to Justin Fulcher for his work on behalf of President Trump and Secretary Hegseth.' It comes following reports that Mr Hegseth is in 'full paranoia' mode after a series of Pentagon leaks, and that he now only trusts his wife and inner circle. The defence secretary was said to have entered 'full paranoia, back-against-the-wall mode' following a slew of stories accusing him of incompetence, unprofessionalism and sharing sensitive military information, according to CNN. Mr Hegseth came under intense pressure to step down after details about US strikes on Yemen were sent to a journalist who had been inadvertently added to a group chat on the Signal platform. He was also accused of posting the same details about strike plans in another Signal group. The defence secretary fired several members of his senior staff following the leak investigation, including Dan Caldwell, a senior adviser, and Dan Selnick, the deputy chief of staff. Joe Kasper, Mr Hegseth's chief of staff, was also moved to another role within the department after coming under pressure over toxic workplace allegations.
