Instead of a conventional caption, the duo embraced their comedic instincts and referred to the birth as a 'product launch.' Accompanied by the upbeat track Big Dawgs by Hanumankind, the announcement exuded both joy and mischief. They humorously added that the "product," officially named
Rushil Panigrahi Rath
, had first been tested on April 7, 2025. The couple teased that the launch seemed indefinitely delayed by "maintenance work," but somehow, the founders managed to get it done—much to everyone's delight. Sulagna concluded the post with a cheeky nod to her husband, writing that it had been a pleasure "doing business" with him.

The final slide, however, was the highlight—Sulagna, sporting a visible baby bump, stood beside Biswa under a title that read 'Product launch coming soon.' The accompanying caption teased that their little one could arrive either in the current or next 'financial year,' staying consistent with their playful business metaphor.

A reminder that what I do matters: Shah Rukh Khan on winning National Film Award

New Delhi, Aug 1 (PTI) Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Friday said he was 'overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility" after being named best actor at the 71st National Film Awards, his first win at the prestigious film honours in a career spanning over three decades. In a video message on Instagram, the 59-year-old actor said the National Film Award serves as a reminder that his work 'matters" and encourages him to 'keep going, working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema". Shah Rukh, who shared the award with '12th Fail" actor Vikrant Massey, was rewarded for his performance in filmmaker Atlee's action drama 'Jawan" (2023). The movie, which minted over Rs 1,100 crore at the worldwide box office, was a high-octane thriller and featured SRK in the dual role of Army officer Vikram Rathore and his jailor son Azad. 'I am overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility. To be honored with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime," he said in the video message. In the video, the actor's right hand was in a sling following an injury he sustained while shooting for his upcoming film 'King". 'A national award is not just about achievement. It's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema. 'In a world full of noise to be heard, truly heard, is a blessing. And I promise to use this recognition, not as a finish line, but as fuel to continue striving, learning and giving back. This award is a reminder for me that acting is not just work but a responsibility, to show the truth on the screen. I am grateful for all the love," Shah Rukh said. The actor extended his thanks to the award jury, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and his recent collaborators — directors Rajkumar Hirani ('Dunki"), Siddharth Anand ('Pathaan") and especially Atlee. 'Thanks to Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in 'Jawan' and trusting me to deliver and be worthy of this award. Atlee sir, this is like you say 'mass'," he said. Shah Rukh also gave a special mention to his team, acknowledging their patience and hard work. 'I want to thank my team and management, which works tirelessly with me. They bear with me, my eccentricities and impatience and give me their full attention and make me look much better than I am… like even now in this video. This award, without their perseverance and love would not be possible at all. Thank you so much for everything you do," he said. Shah Rukh, who made his film debut with 1992's 'Deewana", also expressed gratitude to his family. 'My wife and kids who, over the last few years, give me so much more love and care as if I'm the kid in the house and want only the best for me. They know my obsession with cinema takes me away from them, but they all bear it with a smile and allow me the time. So thank you very much for that," he added. The actor also thanked his fans and said they will see him on screen soon. 'Thank you for all the cheers and all the tears, and really, thank you for pausing your scrolling while watching my award. This award is for you, as each award is and yeah, I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love, but I'm a bit indisposed. But don't worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I'll be back in theaters and soon on the screen. So till then, just with one hand," he said. PTI BK RB RB view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. I'm ready for an enriching new chapter in Telugu cinema: Chandrajith Belliappa

After his debut, Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali, filmmaker Chandrajith Belliappa — part of Rakshit Shetty 's Seven Odds writing team — had his sights set on developing his next script in Kannada. 'I was working on a subject I was deeply passionate about and trying to mount it in Kannada. While I did get offers and interest from the industry, I realised the scale of my story and current market conditions made it tough to execute,' he recalls. The turning point came with the digital release of his debut film. 'Once it started streaming, everything changed. Several teams from the Telugu industry reached out to me. After multiple discussions, I finally said 'yes' to the project I'm working on now.' 'AUDIENCES TODAY ARE OPEN TO STORIES FROM EVERYWHERE' For Chandrajith, this cross-cultural openness is both encouraging and vital. 'It helps filmmakers weather market challenges and allows stories to travel beyond their native borders,' he says. 'I'd love to keep telling stories in Kannada. But I also want to reach a stage where my Kannada films connect with audiences from other languages. Until then, I'll keep exploring, learning, and embracing opportunities,' he says. Alongside his Telugu film, Chandrajith is scripting a Hindi project — though not directing it — and will shift to Hyderabad for a year to focus on his new venture. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Pierce Brosnan's Wife Lost 120 Pounds - This Is Her Now Undo 'IT'S REASSURING THAT KANNADA CONTENT IS BEING EMBRACED WIDELY' On his upcoming Telugu debut, he says, 'Being offered a platform to tell a story in a different language is both heartwarming and challenging. Vaibhavi Merchant on sharing her National Film Award win moment with best friend Rani Mukerji

Vaibhavi Merchant made her debut as a choreographer with the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and received her first National Film Award for it for the song Dholi Taro Dhol Baje in 1999. Now, 26 years later, the choreographer has got her hand on the prestigious award again, this time for the song Dhindora Baje Re from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and she is ecstatic about it. Vaibhavi Merchant and Rani Mukerji(Photo: Instagram) Starting off with a joke, she says, 'I hope it's not my last,' adding, 'I won my first National award when I was 21, and now I'm getting it after years and I'm now 49. The first time when I won it, I did not know the magnanimity of that award because I was too young. I was working nonstop and then you start to miss it. Then I was really hoping that I should be doing something substantial for me to deserve that award again.' Sharing her take on awards, Vaibhavi Merchant says, 'I would always love winning an award which is deserving and not manufactured. For me, this National Award is extremely important. I'm still dealing with the shock that I've actually won this after all these years, and I'm only grateful for this feeling that I'm feeling right now.' The choreographer is also excited about the fact that she has won the same year her best friend Rani Mukerji has won her first National Film Award for Best Actress in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. 'I'm away right now from my best friend Rani, who's also won it this year. But it gives me such great joy to know that she's won her first while I win my second, and I'm just too elated. All these years that we've been there together, we have been aware of each other's work and this is just too special. I can't express it in words,' she says, adding, 'I don't know if I would be so happy to get it on an item song honestly, which is what the norm is. It's a very populist mindset of giving the award to a popular item song than the choreographies. So, this time I'm happy that the craft of the song was given an award and not a popular song.' Ask her about the love that Dhindora Baje Re has got, and Vaibhavi says, 'Dhindora, for me, became something very unique. Right before that song, a lot of people called me even for Dola Re Dola, the Kathak version between two male performers. So many classical Indian male performers came up to me and told me how happy they were with the way we did it. The fact that I made Ranveer Singh and Tota Roy Chowdhury, who are not classical performers, look like that, they were very impressed.' For Vaibhavi, this National Award is a tribute to the classical art form. 'People who have worked in the classical art forms have been doing it for years, I have done Bharatnatyam for 10 years and still continue to be a student of the classical art form. It's so important that you understand the sanctity, the gravitas of those art forms and what we hold– our heritage, our culture. There's so much we can do with what we have, and when that recognition is given on a Karan Johar platform where so many people come in to watch it in the cinema hall and you're able to showcase that art form, it's amazing. This award only means that this art form is being recognized. This art form has been given the tribute it needed to be given and so, this is just too special,' she says.
