Lancia Is Bringing Back the Delta HF Integrale
launched a new Ypsilon hatchback
, and soon, it'll revive the Gamma and Delta nameplates. Thanks to its unprecedented rally success, the Delta Integrale is one of Lancia's best-loved cars, and soon, it too will be back.
Autocar
brought our attention
to
a Tuesday release from Lancia
where the brand confirmed the "HF Integrale" name will return for high-performance versions of the Gamma and Delta. "HF" for those who don't know stands for High Fidelity, and it was a label Lancia used for some of its highest performing cars, like the Stratos, Delta 4x4, and Delta Integrale. Featuring a distinct elephant on the badge, Lancia
introduced the Ypsilon HF and HF Line last year

Lancia is also back in rallying with the Ypsilon Rally4 car and the Ypsilon HF Racing, homologated for the entry Rally6. In a release announcing the Ypsilon HF Racing and outlining the sub-brand's future, Lancia said "HF will become the defining feature of all the high-performance versions within the new Lancia lineup: today on the Ypsilon model and soon to appear in 2026 on the upcoming Gamma and Delta with the 'HF Integrale' label."
The HF Integrale name first appeared on the Delta in 1988 for an evolved version of the Delta HF 4x4 that was competing in Group A rally at the time. The Integrale was a homologation special for the Delta rally car, with four-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder that made the little hatchback extremely potent. It died in 1993 with the limited-production Evo II version. Its legend has only grown since.
Autocar
reports that the next Delta could be twinned with the Opel Mokka crossover. The new Delta will likely ride on Stellantis' CMP platform, which can accommodate both internal-combustion and all-electric power. Lancia hasn't said what will power the next Delta. But we do know that the hottest CMP platform cars, like the Ypsilon HF, Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, and
recently announced Peugeot E-208 GTI
use an electric motor with 280 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque.
Autocar
suspects this is the drivetrain the Delta HF Integrale would get.
Lancia never made a performance version of the original Gamma, a luxury sedan and coupe built from 1976 to 1984.
Autocar
says the new Gamma will be a twin of the DS No8, the new flagship from Stellantis' French luxury brand.
Stellantis' rebirth of Lancia
isn't going well
. Despite the new Ypsilon, its sales were down 72% in May to just 5,627 cars. This comes amidst wider problems at Stellantis, which just appointed Antonio Filosa as CEO to finally replace the much-loathed Carlos Tavares.
The new Delta Integrale has huge shoes to fill, too. While Lancia's history has a great many cars, enthusiasts today love the Delta Integrale above all. So expectations are high.

How to Watch the 2025 F1 Hungarian GP Live on a Free Channel
If you're trying to watch the F1 Hungarian GP live on a free channel, you're at the right place. After Piastri's spectacular victory in Belgium, we're gearing up for another race, this time, on the famous Hungaroring. Fortunately, watching the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix online for free is far from challenging. The trick we'll discuss will help you sidestep expensive subscriptions on premium channels. Read on for more information. Let's start with the promised free channel: SRF. SRF is a Swiss-based channel, with a handy on-demand streaming service (SRF Play). SRF Play lets you access a variety of SRF's channels where you can watch the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix live for free. To be precise, you'll find the live-stream on SRF Info. SRF operates without subscriptions. It doesn't even require an account to access. However, the channel works strictly in Switzerland, and users abroad will be met with a geo-restriction message. One possible drawback is that the commentary is in Swiss, although the broadcast still features high-quality footage. That said, since it's a free channel streaming the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix, it remains an excellent option. Watch the Hungarian GP with NordVPN To access SRF Play abroad, you must know how to unblock foreign channels. The most effective way is to use a VPN, and NordVPN, the most prevalent option, fits the bill perfectly. It offers countless Swiss VPN servers, unrestricted bandwidth, and top-tier speeds for Full HD and Ultra HD streaming. Since NordVPN works on all devices, you can watch the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix on a free channel even on the go. NordVPN can swap your original IP with the Swiss one, allowing prompt access to SRF Play. You just need to subscribe, install the app, and connect to a Swiss server. Remember that NordVPN is free for 30 days. A 30-day money-back guarantee guarantees a full refund if you no longer need the VPN. This means you can watch the 2025 Hungarian GP live and be reimbursed immediately afterward. Most people choose to use a VPN to watch Formula 1 races all year long for free. Even with a VPN subscription, it's far less expensive than premium channels and streaming services, which cost a lot more. Speaking of them, the F1 Hungarian GP live stream is available on many other channels and streaming services. While many offer English coverage, their prices don't justify their lack of versatility. A VPN unblocks a world of content and even lets you stream MotoGP races on free channels. Meanwhile, streaming services have one purpose: broadcasting content. So, here are some examples of paid channels that you can use: Compare this to VPN pricing and you'll notice a stark difference. If you have a subscription to one of these platforms, you already know you can watch the race. However, you can't do it anywhere, as even those services are restricted to their respective regions, requiring a VPN abroad. When does the race start? The entire event kicks off on August 1st and ends on August 3rd. However, the Grand Prix (the main race) is scheduled for August 3rd, starting at 15:00 (CET), 9:00 (EDT), or 6:00 (PDT). If you want to watch only the main race, you can tune in slightly earlier to be sure. Refer to the official Formula 1 website for a full schedule. August is a fantastic month for Formula 1 fans. We've yet to see if Piastri's title will remain and if something will change at the upcoming Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix, but we'll get there when we get there. Try NordVPN for Free for 30 Days

New report reveals incredible Tesla sales trends despite recent challenges — here are the details
Tesla's Model Y and Model 3 aren't just topping the electric vehicle charts — they're rewriting them. According to a new report from Cox Automotive, the two mainstream Tesla models together made up a staggering 43% of all EVs sold in the U.S. during Q2 2025. That's 86,120 Model Ys and 48,803 Model 3s — more than the next eight EVs combined. And it happened during a quarter when the EV market overall dipped 6.3% year-over-year. Switch Auto Insurance and Save Today! Affordable Auto Insurance, Customized for You The Insurance Savings You Expect Great Rates and Award-Winning Service Tesla's continued dominance comes in spite of a rocky first half of the year. The company paused deliveries to update the Model Y, navigated controversy surrounding its CEO, and faced protests at retail sites. But these challenges did not significantly lower consumer demand. On the contrary, Tesla's lineup continued to prove what many already suspected: the brand still leads the pack when it comes to accessibility, desirability, and performance in the EV space. Legacy automakers are starting to close the gap, though. General Motors more than doubled its EV sales in the first half of 2025, landing Chevrolet in the No. 2 spot behind Tesla. But Tesla still commands a 44.7% share of the EV market, despite a dip in quarterly revenue — and that kind of lead sends a clear signal. So, why does this matter for everyday drivers? Strong EV sales — especially from brands that continue to cut costs and innovate — can help push the entire auto industry toward a cleaner future. Tesla's market strength helps normalize EV ownership, builds out charging infrastructure, and drives competition, which typically means more affordable options for buyers. And when you power those EVs with solar energy, the benefits get even bigger. Fueling your car with clean energy at home is significantly cheaper than public charging stations — and EnergySage can help you compare vetted solar installers and save up to $10,000 on a solar panel setup. Cox Automotive expects another surge in EV sales for Q3 as shoppers rush to qualify for federal tax credits before they expire on September 30. Despite a dip in year-over-year sales, the first half of 2025 still saw a record-breaking 607,089 electric vehicles sold — a clear indication that EVs are becoming a more mainstream option for drivers across the country. As legacy automakers ramp up production and options multiply, the EV market should become more accessible. Do you think a majority of Americans will have EVs in 20 years? Motor finance lenders still on the hook after Supreme Court ruling
A lukewarm win in the landmark motor finance case has allowed City banks to skirt a nightmare scenario, whilst still remaining open to a regulatory redress scheme. The Supreme Court found that the customers' claims against the lenders couldn't succeed based on fairness, known as equity, or tort, which refers to any wrongful actions worthy of compensation. The Court upheld the appeals of Close Brothers but said the commission in the case of Johnson, whose case was with South African lender First Rand, was 'unfair'. Despite the partial win, which will avoid the worst case scenario as feared by both the Treasury and Financial Conduct Authority, Johnson's entitlement to compensation suggests the motor finance saga is far from over. 'This a massive win, don't be distracted by Hopcraft and Wrench – that was always going to be a tall bar to hit with regards to bribery' one lawyer told 'The Johnson element, the unfair relationship, the breach of Consumer Credit rules has always been what's at the heart of this case'. But Caroline Edwards, partner and dispute resolution specialist at Travers Smith, said the ruling was a 'major overturning' of October's Court of Appeal judgment that stated it was unlawful for banks to pay a commission to a car dealer without the customer's informed consent 'But there was a sting in the tail,' Edwards added, saying Johnson's case was set to 'introduce yet more uncertainty into the market'. Regulators in driving seat The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said following the ruling it would confirm before markets open on Monday August 4 whether it would consult on a redress scheme. Peter Rothwell, head of banking at KPMG UK, said the ruling provides a 'clear path forward and the FCA has legal clarity to proceed with a more targeted redress scheme'. The National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), which represents car and commercial retailers across the UK, welcomed the verdict calling for 'the regulator to act fairly to ensure UK consumers receive a satisfactory result'. The City watchdog had previously said a redress scheme must ensure the integrity of the motor finance market, so it works well for future consumers. The Court's verdict is set to curb fears of total compensation reaching £30bn and reduce the scope for a very-large scale compensation scheme. The ruling would also skirt the worst fear of Chancellor Rachel Reeves who was reported to be exploring ways to overrule the Supreme Court should an adverse ruling have been handed down. Richard Coates, partner and head of automotive at Freeths, winner of City AM's law firm of the year, said: 'The judgment opens the gateway for consumers to bring claims under the Consumer Credit Act, where particularly large commissions have been paid and the relationship is therefore unfair'. Lloyds Banking Group – which owns leading vehicle finance provider Black Horse – leads the pack for highest provisions set aside at £1.2bn. Meanwhile, Santander is on the hook for £295m, Close Brothers £165m and Barclays £90m. Lord Justice Reed, President of the Supreme Court, said ahead of the ruling being announced that the FCA had advised the verdict be announced after markets were closed or the weekend to avoid 'disorder'. Reed said: 'The markets will need time to digest and consider its implications'.
