Cardiff Half Marathon: 50 spots up for grabs for £10
There are 50 spots available for those willing to raise £250 for the charity.
Entry costs just £10, and participants will receive an exclusive team running vest if they raise £75 by August 8.
Lowri Morgan, extreme endurance athlete, adventurer, and broadcaster, will lead the R4W Charitable Foundation running team.
Ms Morgan, who is also on the charity's board of trustees, said: "The Run 4 Wales Charitable Foundation is extremely passionate about increasing participation and diversity in physical activity in Wales.
"The charity has so far been able to invest £1 million into grassroots sport and community projects within Wales and our team of runners will help us achieve an even greater impact.
"By joining our team at the Cardiff Half Marathon, you'll not only be achieving something incredible yourself, but by fundraising, you'll also be helping children, young people and adults across Wales take their first steps towards a more active and healthier life."

It has also helped establish more than 100 social running groups across Wales and supported 48 parkrun events.

Lions legend laid to rest The funeral of Scotland and British & Irish Lions legend Ian McLauchlan took place on the isle of Islay earlier today. Known throughout the rugby world as 'Mighty Mouse', the former prop passed away in hospital last month at the age of 83. During his playing career, he won 43 caps for Scotland, with 19 of those coming as captain, while he represented Glasgow District at club level. McLachlan was also one of only five players to play in all eight Test matches for the Lions across the 1971 and 1974 tours of New Zealand and South Africa respectively, with his only Test try coming against the All Blacks on the first of those tours. After hanging up his boots, he spent a brief spell in rugby journalism before setting up his own marketing company. He then served as a member of the Scottish Rugby Board from 2010 to 2019 and was president of the Scottish Rugby Union between 2010 and 2012, while he was also a director of European Professional Club Rugby. His funeral was held at the Round Church in Bowmore on Wednesday morning, with friends from across rugby and elsewhere paying their respects. When we got going we did play some good stuff. "Our collision work was good and that helped us keep them out in the second half. "We will always have constant learnings." Morgan, who might have to battle it out with Curry and Tom van der Flier for that seven shirt, himself was his typical humble self following the match, praising the team rather than his own individual display. "It was a good game. It was a very physical game, especially the first half. It was a tough match so it was good to get the win.," he said. "It was a full team performance, we spoke about playing for 80 minutes and that is what we did. We kept on building and we will keep on building over the next couple of weeks.
