'Excitement and pride' amongst Hibs players ahead of crucial matches
Hibs currently top the ScottishPower Women's Premier League with three matches to go – the first of which comes against second-place Glasgow City at Meadowbank on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to the media ahead of the huge fixture, Scott states there is no place he and his team would rather be as the season comes down to an enthralling finish.
'It's a busy time, tough time, lots of challenges ahead. But, given the choice, we would want to be here, if we could choose. I'm delighted and looking forward to it.
'I've said it a few times now and it's probably getting boring for you guys,' Scott added. 'But there's just something about the group of players just now.
'We've been on a fantastic run, which Hearts ended a number of weeks ago, but we've picked ourselves back up and we've went again. It just tells you something about the group.
'I think there's as good teams in the league, I think there's as good players, but we've got an in our something about us and it's one of those uncoachables, you're not always sure where it's coming from.
'The group have done well, they've gelled together this season, they seem to be on the same page a lot of the time and that's served us well.'
Asked on injury news, Scott gave a further update on goalkeeper Erin Clachers. The loanee has returned to Glasgow City for treatment after being injured versus Celtic last month.
'Erin has got a little ruptured tendon around the hip area. She's had surgery this week.
'But I think Noa Schumacher, who came in this year, has done really, really well in her first full-time role.
'We've got good cover. Rowena Armitage will be called back from loan to give us the cover on the bench as well.'
As an incredible, progressive campaign nears its conclusion, there is a buzz around staff and supporters as to what the next week may bring.
On this, Scott spoke honestly of his side's inevitable excitement ahead of the final three fixtures versus City, Celtic and Rangers.
'There's no secrets. I think there's a lot of excitement and a lot of pride in where we are. And then there's a little bit of nervous energy.
'You see the players getting a little bit excitable. There's a bit of nerves there, the competitive nature of it. So, all of those things, which is understandable at this point.
'But we're in our last full week of training and there's a real edge to it, which is really, really good to see. I don't think we've seen that competitive edge in a Hibs squad probably for a few years now, so it's good to see.'

Rodgers feels there's lessons to learn from Celtic's defeat to Ajax
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers felt his side could take some positives as well as some lessons after they fell to a 5-1 defeat by Ajax in their penultimate pre-season friendly in Como. The Hoops were looking to build on impressive wins over Sporting Lisbon and Newcastle and were the better team in the first half. Yang Hyun-jun slotted home a quickfire equaliser for Celtic after Steven Berghuis had curled the opener. The South Korean winger latched on to Reo Hatate's through ball after Kieran Tierney's wonderful long pass had opened up the Ajax defence. The Dutch side took control immediately after the interval. Davy Klaassen scored on the rebound and Berghuis got his second after a misplaced pass from Benjamin Nygren deep in his own half. Spectacular long-range strikes from Aaron Bouwman and Rayane Bounida made it a difficult finale for the Scottish champions. Rodgers told Celtic TV: 'I didn't think it was quite a 5-1 game. For the first 60 minutes of the game, we were very good, and the third goal we gave away. 'But we had lots of really good moments, scored one and should have had more. The goal we scored was very, very good. 'Then I just felt in the last 30 minutes of the game, we gave the ball away far too easily and we lost out on too many duels. 'You can see with the players, they're obviously working very hard. They're getting a wee bit leggy in some of the games because we're pushing them into training. So, sometimes you get that. 'Then obviously, the two goals right at the end are disappointing because they're shots from outside the box, which we should do better with. You've got to get to the ball. 'But overall really, lots of positives from us, but also always a reminder of still the work we have to do.' The defeat means there will be no swift reunion with winger Nicolas Kuhn, who watched from the stand following his recent move to Como. Ajax will now take on the hosts in the final of the Como Cup while Celtic will face Asian Champions League winners Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Rodgers: Exit-linked star still has 'important' Celtic future
The South Korean winger has been on the fringes of the Parkhead first team since his arrival in 2023, in and out of the side but more often than not appearing as a substitute. He has been strongly linked with an exit this summer, with Norwich City reportedly keen on taking him to the English Championship. However, Rodgers appears very reluctant to sanction that and says the 23-year-old has a key role to play for him. Read more: The club are working on trying to make additions in the wide areas, but for the moment Yang has been starting games. The manager said: "It's always a challenge, I think, at a club like Celtic, whenever players have maybe been for a couple of seasons and they're not quite established. "Because then they want to go and play more. But certainly at this stage, where we're at within the squad, it's not something I can even entertain. You see he's starting the games. And I see him as an important player for us in our squad. And once we can get the quality around him, then he'll be a good player for us. "It's hard to say. At this moment in time, he's a starting winger for us. So we're not in a position to be moving him on. At this moment in time, it's not even in our thinking really.
