The Oasis reunion tour will come to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium in August and while they take in the music that hasn't been heard live for 15 years, there's no doubt that many revellers will have a pint of lager in hand.
The Murrayfield gigs will be the first time that Oasis will grace the Edinburgh stage since 2009, just before the Gallagher brothers had their infamous falling out that led to over a decade long break from the band - so it's no wonder Scottish fans will want to celebrate, reports The Daily Record.
Data from Alliance Online suggests that each attendee will drink around 2.5 pints on average during the band's 19 shows across the UK and Ireland, equating to over 3.9million pints of beer in total.
Using survey data and venue capacities, their study explores the scale of beer consumption at each Oasis gig venue and places the figures into perspective by comparing them to the volume of everyday items.
The Murrayfield gigs are taking place on August 8, 9, and 12, with a total capacity of 201,432. During these three gigs alone, fans are expected to drink enough beer to fill 1,589 baths, or 79,454 bucket hats.
This is also the equivalent of 63,563 goldfish bowls or 5,201 car fuel tanks.
Over the 19 dates of the Oasis reunion tour, roughly 1,543,889 fans are expected to fill five of the UK and Ireland's biggest stadiums, and they're estimated to sink an incredible 3,859,723 pints of beer in the process.
In fact, over two million litres of beer are expected to be consumed at Oasis' reunion tour, which is enough to fill 609,000 bucket hats.
The total volume of beer expected to be sunk on the tour equates to roughly 20 standard swimming pools, 12,000 bathtubs, or nearly half a million goldfish bowls. Fans are also expected to consume enough beer to fill almost 40,000 car fuel tanks and over 43,000 beer kegs.
Wembley Stadium is projected to account for nearly 900,000 litres of beer consumed over the seven-night-run, the highest volume among the venues.
With a capacity of 630,000, Wembley will see an estimated 4,970 baths worth of beer consumed - that's roughly 248,500 bucket hats, 198,800 goldfish bowls, or 16,265 car fuel tanks.
Principality Stadium in Cardiff has a capacity of 147,862, and an estimated 1,166 baths or 58,323 bucket hats worth of beer will be poured across the two shows - enough to fill 46,659 goldfish bowls or 3,818 car fuel tanks.
Over the four dates at Heaton Park, Manchester, with a capacity of 399,995, an impressive 3,156 baths of beer will be consumed.
This is the equivalent of 157,776 bucket hats, 126,221 goldfish bowls, or 10,327 car fuel tanks.
Croke Park, Dublin, with a 164,600 capacity, will consume 1,299 baths worth of beer across the two gigs, roughly 64,926 bucket hats, 51,940 goldfish bowls, or 4,250 car fuel tanks.

Sienna Miller's cheeky three-word review of second Oasis gig in Cardiff

British-American actress Sienna Miller, who attended both Cardiff gigs, shared her verdict on the Oasis reunion tour Sienna Miller looked effortlessly cool as she attended night two of the Oasis reunion concert at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. Like many tens of thousands of people, Sienna was quick to nab tickets to the tour after Liam and Noel Gallagher shocked fans with a reunion announcement in August last year. The band finally returned to the stage on Friday night for their first performance together in 16 years. Sienna, who attended both nights of the Cardiff concerts, said it was the "greatest show I've ever seen" as she shared her thoughts on the emotional night, which had Liam and Noel performing all their biggest hits. ‌ ‌ When asked by The Mirror what she thought of the concert, she joked: "It was alright," before revealing she was there for both Cardiff gigs. "It's the greatest show I've ever seen. The love and the nostalgia and the joy, it's like saving the world." The Extrapolations actress, 43, rocked a patterned black-and-white long-sleeved short for the biblical event and accessorised with thin-framed sunglasses. She made her look chic by tousling her blonde locks. She joined Doctor Who's Matt Smith, who was also at both events, for the concert. Other big names at the gig included makeup mogul Charlotte Tilbury, Noel Gallagher's girlfriend Sally Mash and more. Last year, Sienna opened up about ageism as she admitted she initially had reservations about dating a younger man. She shared that it didn't take long for her to become smitten with Oli Green after they met at a Halloween bash. ‌ In an interview, Sienna revealed that she wasn't planning on taking things "seriously," but unexpectedly found herself falling in love. Initially, Sienna was conflicted about the age difference, stating that it just sort of happened. She elaborated: "I wasn't like, 'I'm gonna get a younger boyfriend.' It was more, 'F---! Why are you young? That's so annoying.'".Looking back, however, Sienna believes everything worked out for the best. In a chat with Harper's Bazaar, she praised Oli for his maturity, describing him as "very wise and well-adjusted."She attributed his mature outlook to generational differences, noting that Oli belongs to a "generation of men respect women."She continued: "It's interesting, being older now, and having been raised in that moment, learning from people who are younger about how clear they are in their boundaries, having that self-assuredness and self-advocacy, having 'no' in the repertoire in a way that we just weren't encouraged to have." ‌ Meanwhile, Oasis is next returning to the stage for five dates in Manchester, starting from July 11, before heading to London for another five dates. They will also be heading to Dublin, Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and will performing a few more London dates in September. In October and November, Oasis will also be in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

Oasis fans fuming over 'shocking' pint prices at Wetherspoons ahead of Cardiff gig Liam and Noel Gallagher took over the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium once again tonight for the second night of their reunion tour, with over 70,000 fans in attendance Oasis fans slam pubs outside Oasis gig venue as they deem price increase 'horrific' (Image: PA ) Oasis enthusiasts were left feeling sour over the steep pint prices at Cardiff's Principality Stadium and its surrounding pubs. The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, put an end to their 16-year-long rift and surprised fans with a reunion tour announcement last summer. The Welsh capital was abuzz on Friday night (July 4) as more than 70,000 supporters flocked to witness Oasis kick off their tour, filling the air with chants and cheers for the reconciled siblings. Before entering the venue, which was charging £8.20 per pint, many attendees indulged in a pre-gig drinks at local pubs near the stadium, reports the Mirror. Fans voiced their discontent with the hiked prices at nearby Wetherspoons establishments, where beverages cost an additional £2. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here , The pub company confirmed to The Sun that they had implemented a price surge at three of their central Cardiff pubs. They said: "We can confirm that prices were increased in three of our Cardiff city centre pubs during the Oasis concert. "The police categorised it as an event day, which meant the pubs were required to have additional door supervisors. "Furthermore, the pubs had more staff on duty than usual for the concert. Wetherspoon continues to offer value for money prices." One disgruntled fan captured the drink prices on camera and shared the image on social media, saying: "Prices at Cardiff City Centre Wetherspoons today for Oasis opening night - horrific, shocking, butters." A disgruntled fan voiced their annoyance over the elevated drink prices at Cardiff Marriott on social media, noting: "Nice of @CardiffMarriott to introduce dynamic pint pricing for the gig today, 18% increase on a pint of beer #Oasis #Cardiff." You can read more about the stadium's drink prices here. The highly anticipated gig featured support act Cast kicking things off at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm, with Oasis who rocked the stage from 8.15pm. During the tour, there's an expectation that Oasis enthusiasts will collectively knock back an eye-watering 8,667,600 pints, with an estimated 2,219,458 pints likely to be hurled into the air in sheer jubilation. Still looking for Oasis tickets? Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go can sell their seats, although these tend to go in and out of stock quickly. Viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. Article continues below Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub, and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.
