A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after a horror fall on a ship at a Scots harbour.
Emergency crews raced to the incident on board the Falcon Tide at Peterhead Harbour in Aberdeenshire early on Wednesday morning.

This is the scene of the Police guarding the Falcon Tide Supply Vessel at the Pier within the Harbour.
The 41-year-old, who fell from scaffolding, was taken from the vessel before being taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
His condition is not yet known.
Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating due to the incident happening at a workplace.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 7am on Wednesday, 23 July, 2025, we were made aware of a man having been injured after falling from scaffolding onboard a ship in the Burnhaven area of Peterhead.
'The 41-year-old was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
'The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware and enquiries are ongoing.'

Fairgoer Emma Perry, who was there with her daughter, described the "traumatic" scenes. She told the DailyEcho: "The girl was on the oscillating floor in the Fun House when she slipped, fell backwards and her hair got caught in the rollers on the floor. 'Her friend came off the ride and said she was bleeding, so I offered my services as a first aider. 'When I got up there, I saw that three quarters of the girl's scalp had been ripped off in what we call a degloving incident." Emma claimed the teen was taken away on a stretcher, while fire crews had to cut a section of the ride away. Thee 51-year-old recalled the youngster was "screaming" and "very distressed". Another bystander who helped the teen told the BBC: "One of the girl's friends came down and said how serious it was and some of us offered assistance. "It's very shocking it could happen on a fairground ride that young children go on. This must never happen again." Charles Cole, who runs the event, dubbed it a "freak accident" that was under investigation. He told the Echo: "Nobody wants to hurt anyone, and we are a family business. Last night was very upsetting, especially for the man who owns the ride. "Safety is our priority, and we sympathise with the girl and her parents." Cllr David Harrison said he is "shocked and saddened" by the incident. He added: "I am sure it will be properly investigated and any necessary action taken. "My thoughts are with the injured person, family and friends." A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson said the incident was "local authority enforced and with Hampshire police". A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.53pm on July 26 with reports that an 18-year-old woman had sustained potentially life-changing injuries to her head while on a ride at Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show. "She was taken to hospital for treatment. "Police attended and have liaised with the Health and Safety Executive." Meanwhile the fair announced today: "Good morning from day three of the show. EasyJet passenger arrested after shouting ‘Allahu Akbar' on flight
An easyJet passenger has been arrested after allegedly shouting 'Allahu Akbar' on a flight. Witnesses said the man claimed to have a bomb on the plane, which was flying from Luton to Glasgow on Sunday morning. Footage shows the man at the back of the aircraft, standing up and shouting: 'Stop the plane. 'Find the bomb on the plane. Death to America. Death to Trump.' He then allegedly shouted 'Allahu Akbar' three times, which means God is the greatest in Arabic. He was pinned down by three passengers, while air hostesses climbed on the seats to obtain the man's bags. Trump is currently on a four-day visit to Scotland. A 41-year-old man was detained at the scene and remains in custody, Police Scotland said. Officers who had been waiting on the tarmac handcuffed the man and removed him from the aircraft. A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Sun he woke at around 8am to hear the man coming out of the plane's lavatory shouting that he had a bomb. 'He literally came out of the toilet shouting 'Allahu Akbar' with his hands above his head,' he said. 'Then he said 'I've got a bomb, I've got a bomb' – at this point people were confused.' The 39-year-old added: 'He pushed the airline staff and was being aggressive towards them. He was a big guy, about six foot and they were these petite women. 'When he pushed them, that's when things changed.' The witness said an emergency landing took place after an announcement by the pilot before police swarmed on to make the arrest. 'The main copper said, 'Look, don't mess about or you'll go straight down,'' he added. 'By this point the guy had calmed down. He'd admitted he didn't have a bomb. He gave up.' 'Footage being assessed by counter terrorism officers' A Police Scotland spokesman said: 'We received a report of a man causing a disturbance on a flight arriving in Glasgow around 8.20am on Sunday, 27 July, 2025. 'Officers boarded the plane on its arrival and a 41-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody. Enquiries are continuing. 'At this time we believe the incident was contained and that nobody else was involved. 'We are aware of videos circulating online and these are being assessed by counter terrorism officers.' An easyJet spokesman said: 'Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow this morning was met by police on arrival in Glasgow, where they boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger due to their behaviour onboard. 'EasyJet's crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time. 'The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority.'
