Hulk Hogan's Last Conversation With Estranged Daughter Revealed

Hulk Hogan's Last Conversation With Estranged Daughter Revealed

Yahoo3 days ago
Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke Hogan, is relieved at the closure they had years before his sudden death.
The wrestler's daughter was nowhere near him when he died, but she can sleep with both eyes closed, knowing she had love for him despite their estrangement.
Brooke Hogan and Hulk Hogan, who once shared an enviable bond on and off-screen, began experiencing a strain in their relationship during the breakdown of his marriage to her mother, Linda Hogan.
Brooke Hogan Is Glad She Tried Her Best To Protect And Support The Late Hulk Hogan
The TV personality reportedly learned her father had passed away from cardiac arrest from her husband, right after her brother, Nick Hogan, informed him.
Hulk and Brooks have been estranged for some time now due to several unresolved issues that have remained unaddressed despite multiple attempts at resolution.
While the absence of Brooke by his side when he died would have broken any daughter's heart, the media personality felt differently. Sources claimed that the last time they spoke, two years ago, before Hulk married his current wife, Sky Daily, Brooke had expressed her undying love for him.
She also voiced her concerns and worries about his hectic work schedules and his zeal, despite his compromised health. In his typical stubborn nature, Hulk was unyielding to Brooke's advice to slow down, and the conversation ended there.
TMZ shared that Brooke is grateful that he got to know how she felt about him. She is content with how she left things with the wrestler, at peace with the care and support she always showed towards him.
The Former WWE Champion Was Optimistic About A Resolution With His Daughter
Sources close to the iconic wrestler affirmed that he died trying to mend the crack in his family, especially as he became aware of his fragile health. Unluckily for him, the clock ran out before he could break through to Brooke.
As seen on The Blast, a source close to the late wrestler detailed how he battled serious emotional turmoil in the later weeks of his life over where he stands with his darling daughter.
Brook and Hulk famously shared a chemistry that was widely discussed when their family reality series, "Hogan Knows Best," aired. The last months of his life were reportedly filled with hopes that he and Brooke would eventually sort out their cold war and become friends again.
Brooke sparked estrangement rumors when she was absent from her father's wedding to Sky, an event she later addressed on social media as a necessity to help her heal from the years of toxicity in her family.
Brooke's Mom Revealed The Singer Also Shut Her Out Of Her Life
Hulk was not the only one Brooke dropped from the Hogan family on her healing journey. The mother of two also cut ties with her mother, Linda, who came online to reveal that she had not spoken with Brooke for nearly a decade.
Brooke came online a few days later to address the situation, clarifying that she separated herself from her parents for unique reasons that stemmed from how each individual treated her.
"No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother," she added.
The singer noted that her self-esteem and confidence bore the brunt of the physical and verbal abuse she experienced as a child. Therapy has helped her process these feelings and find healing, and one of the costs is completely cutting off interactions with her parents and some family members.
Linda Tagged Her Estranged Daughter A Narcissist Like The WWE Hall Of Famer
The wrestler's ex-wife would not let Brooke's claims about her being a part of the problem slide. As seen on The Blast, the 65-year-old embarked on a lengthy rant, comparing her daughter's personality to her father's.
She accused Brooke of exhibiting narcissistic tendencies and promoting false narratives about her being abusive and inconsiderate. Linda admitted that she scolded and spanked Brooke on some occasions when she erred, but it did not degenerate to full-scale abuse as she claimed.
According to her, if she had been such a bad mother while they were growing up, they would have outed her as such, considering their proximity to phones at the time.
Linda claimed her daughter also nurtured some demons, including alcoholism, and on some occasions had physically abused her by cutting her lips and breaking her collarbone.
The 65-year-old continued that her daughter carefully ignored her toxic patterns and used her story as a distraction to protect her secret from her husband and his family.
Inside Hulk Hogan's Multiple Health Problems
The media personality had reportedly experienced declining health before he passed away from a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Thursday. Hulk reportedly underwent a series of surgeries for his recurring neck and back pain from injuries sustained from his years of wrestling.
The rigorous physical training he was subjected to in order to stay in shape for most of his career also took a toll on him. He was hospitalized for his neck and back pain last month after a previous surgical procedure on his neck in May.
Hulk's knees and hips also suffered a profound effect of his wrestling years, as he once admitted to having gotten hip, knee, and shoulder replacement surgeries. His pal, Kurt Angle, also revealed two years ago that Hulk had a few nerves snipped from his lower body, causing him to lose sensation in that area, although this was later debunked.
Hulk eventually passed away at the hospital after emergency responders were called to his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Will Brooke Hogan show up for Hulk Hogan's funeral or settle up with the rest of the family soon?

Mario Kart World and other Switch 2 games are 10 percent off

I wasn't expecting to see any deals on Switch 2 games for a while. Even though the console is currently much easier to find in stock, game discounts — especially ones on first-party Nintendo launch games — aren't the norm. However, you can get 10 percent off on the likes of Mario Kart World, and the Switch 2 editions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. Sure, these are small price drops, but anything that brings them closer to the cost of last-gen Switch games is a nice deal in my book. Mario Kart World is an excellent game to start your Switch 2 game library, featuring a bunch of new tracks, along with some new moves, weapons, and characters, plus an open roam mode that's filled with stuff to do. The Switch 2 editions of Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild make these already-great games even better with graphical improvements. Both games run at 60 frames per second and feature higher resolution graphics, not to mention support for Zelda Notes, which lets you turn on what is effectively GPS mode so you can more easily find shrines and Korok seeds. There's a new game of Strands to play every day. The game will present you with a six by eight grid of letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common, and you'll get a clue as to what that theme is. When you find a theme word, it will remain highlighted in blue. You'll also need to find a special word called a spangram. This tells you what the words have in common. The spangram links at least two sides of the board, but it may not start or end there. While the theme words will not be a proper name, the spangram can be a proper name. When you find the spangram, it will remain highlighted in yellow. Every letter is used once in one of the theme words and spangram. You can connect letters vertically, horizontally and diagonally, and it's possible to switch directions in the middle of a word. If you're playing on a touchscreen, double tap the last letter to submit your guess. If you find three valid words of at least four letters that are not part of the theme, you'll unlock the Hint button. Clicking this will highlight the letters that make up one of the theme words. Radiohead Pushes Several Decades-Old Titles To New Chart Peaks

Radiohead's 'Let Down' climbs Billboard charts thanks to viral popularity, helping OK Computer reach ... More a new peak while 'Creep' hits 100 weeks globally. Musician Thom Yorke, of group Radiohead, performs, Chicago, Illinois, August 3, 2001. (Photo by) 2025 has turned out to be a big year for the band Radiohead, even though no brand new music has emerged, and none is expected at the moment. The group suddenly and unexpectedly went viral with the tune 'Let Down,' which has become a surprise hit. The decades-old composition has long been a favorite among fans, but only recently has it reached a more mainstream audience, thanks to platforms like TikTok. The popularity of 'Let Down' has been growing for weeks now. As it soars on several charts in the United States, the album it's featured on manages to hit a new high point at the same time. 'Let Down' Hits a New All-Time High At the moment, 'Let Down' appears on four Billboard rankings. It rises on two of them and declines — but only by one spot each — on the other pair. The track surges from No. 25 to No. 23 on the Alternative Streaming Songs list in just its second week on the tally, which ranks the most streamed alternative tunes across the country. The Radiohead cut reaches a never-before-seen peak as it improves its standing. The tune also returns to its previously-set high point on the general Hot Rock Songs chart, inching upward from No. 13 to No. 12. "Let Down" Boosts OK Computer's Chart Performance Continued consumption of 'Let Down' in particular helps OK Computer — the Radiohead album that the track is featured on — ascend. OK Computer lifts one spot on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, settling at No. 37. The band's third full-length project hits a new peak on the Billboard ranking 10 weeks into its resurgence, but decades after it was first released. At the same time, the critically-acclaimed studio effort holds at No. 153 on the Billboard 200, while descending slightly on the Top Alternative Albums roster. On that latter list, OK Computer reached its No. 19 high just last week and now dips two rungs to No. 21. As 'Let Down' Rises, 'Creep' Reaches a New Milestone As 'Let Down' reaches a brand new peak position, another Radiohead classic, 'Creep,' continues to stand out as perhaps the band's most celebrated tune. That cut declines slightly on both of Billboard's global rankings, but it does so as it reaches 100 weeks on the two tallies. That's a first for Radiohead, and it seems that renewed attention being paid to 'Let Down' has benefited more than just one track.
