Sharon Osbourne Shared Heartfelt Tribute Before Ozzy Osbourne's Death Was Announced
Sharon took to her Instagram account to share a brief clip of Warner, who died from asphyxia after drowning in Costa Rica on July 20, as reported by ABC News. The Instagram Story showed Warner, who famously portrayed Theodore "Theo" Huxtable on The Cosby Show, with a yellow flower behind his ear in his car. He explained that his daughter had placed it behind his ear, so he "was rocking it." The actor, who died was 54 at the time of his death, also said he wanted to "spread good cheer" to his social media followers.
"No matter what's going on, there's always a reason to smile," said Warner in the video.
He also encouraged his fans to make others smile.
Sharon suggested she appreciated Warner's message in the caption of her Instagram Story.

Less than two hours after Sharon uploaded her Instagram Story, TMZ confirmed her husband of over 40 years died on July 22. The publication reported a statement was released from Ozzy's family, which includes Sharon and his children Kelly, Aimee, Jack, Jessica, Louis and Elliot.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time," reads the statement.
According to TMZ, Ozzy, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, was 76 at the time of his death. The Los Angeles Times reported that Ozzy received the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease in 2019. According to the Los Angeles Times, Ozzy shared he wasn't happy about not working due to his Parkinson's in a 2020 interview on Good Morning America.
"Coming from a working-class background, I hate to let people down. I hate to not do my job. And so when I see my wife goin' to work, my kids goin' to work, everybody's doing, tryin' to be helpful to me, that gets me down because I can't contribute to my family, you know," said Ozzy.
