David Beckham 'brushes aside Brooklyn feud rumours' marking 26th anniversary
The England football ace, 50, and former Spice Girl, 51, tied the knot in 1999 in a lavish ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle outside Dublin surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The event was memorable not only for the couple's striking purple evening looks, but as a marker of how their relationship has stood the test of time, scandal, and fame more than two decades later.
In an emotional Instagram post, David posted a series of throwback photos from their nuptials as well as with their children – Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13 – following speculation of a rift with their eldest son and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30.
'26 years today you said YES to me,' he began in the caption, addressing his wife. 'Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together. I love you Lady Beckham.'
He tagged the couple's four children in the post, despite speculation of a falling out between Brooklyn and other members of the family.
Romeo reshared David's post on his Instagram Story alongside a series of white hearts.
At the time of writing, Cruz and Brooklyn have not posted anything about their parents' anniversary.
The Beckhams' daughter, Harper, doesn't have social media, so was mentioned by David in his caption with a hashtag.
Reports of a rift first resurfaced when Brooklyn and his wife Nicola failed to show up at David's 50th birthday bash, despite all of his other children being in attendance.
At the time, a source told Metro that Brooklyn was 'disappointed in himself' for doing so.
Since then, the chef shared a telling Instagram post that he would 'always choose' Nicola, whom he wed in 2022.
When Nicola's father Nelson Peltz celebrated his birthday in June, Brooklyn shared an Instagram post dedicated to his father-in-law, while he was also photographed at the Peltz family home in New York.
As speculation continues to mount, Nicola has hit out at claims that she is 'controlling' her husband.
One comment posted by an Instagram user on the social media platform read: 'The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd. The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.' More Trending
In a rather telling move, Nicola liked the comment.
Victoria is said to be 'heartbroken' over the rumoured feud between Brooklyn and his dad, with sources claiming she is desperate for them to reconcile.
Romeo and Cruz have made what some have interpreted as 'digs' at Brooklyn via TikTok comments and Instagram Stories.
One of these included Cruz writing on his Story: 'It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.'

Airline star Jane Boulton in embarrassing blunder as she misses her flight – years after scolding late passengers
STAR of iconic hit TV show Airline, Jane Boulton, has been left red-faced after making a huge blunder. The TV personality, who found fame appearing on the ITV series, famously quipped to passengers it was "easy if you get here on time" but has now found herself missing her first ever flight over her own lateness. Revealing that she was due to head to Gatwick Airport after attending a podcast recording, Jane found herself stuck in traffic that prevented her from arriving on time. Appearing that karma was out to get her, she said to the camera: "Came to for an interview with Lewis Nicholls yesterday and, guess what guys, for the first time in my life it was not easy because I did not get there on time. "We got stuck in the most horrific traffic on the way to Gatwick, there was an accident and literally we came off the motorway to queue up for the Gatwick turn off and it took us probably an hour to get from there." Advertisement In a bitter blow, Jane was just ONE minute late to the check-in desk. And despite being Britain's most well-known check-in lady, her celebrity status and previous credentials did not help her as she was still denied the chance to board the plane after asking very nicely. Jane continued: "We missed the check-in by how long? One minute. And as nice as I was... but no, she wasn't having any of it. "So we missed our little flight with Eastern Airways and had to book on a train, so we should have arrived here at 10 yesterday morning and we got here at about four, three o'clock. Advertisement "So I know how people feel now, and I can honestly say a lot of people out there are probably thinking 'karma'." Jane was based at Luton Airport working for EasyJet on their check-in desk and became a hit with reality TV fans thanks to her no-nonsense attitude. Airline's Jane Boulton reveals she didn't make a penny from the hit show She often clashed with unruly customers and was never afraid to put them in their place. Her fans were quick to make light of the situation as they quoted many of Jane's viral catchphrases that she often used on late passengers on the show, back to her. Another added: "Jane, it's a plane not a bus, much love as always though." 5 Jane has been back in the public eye after returning to fame in 2023 Credit: Rex 5 Her mishap left her fans in hysterics Credit: TikTok/Janeboulton_airline Advertisement As a third said: "It is easy if you get here on time as Jane Boulton once told a customer." It saw Jane make a return to mainstream fame in 2023 and she has since built up an impressive online following. Brooklyn is reported to be estranged from his parents David and Victoria and publicly failed to acknowledge their 26th wedding anniversary on Friday. Brooklyn and Nicola looked smitten in a new fashion campaign after the shoot fuelled rumours of a family feud. The pair flew to London for the advertising campaign in May, days after snubbing his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations. It came after they missed David's 50th party in Miami, his fishing trip with his sons Cruz and Romeo, an intimate dinner at their Cotswolds home and his star-studded birthay bash in London. Sources said the snub was a "dagger to the heart" for his parents. Two weeks later the couple, who live in Los Angeles, jetted to London for the Moncler shoot but failed to meet up with Brooklyn's family. The photos for the Italian fashion brand have finally been released and show Brooklyn snuggling into Nicola in a series of romantic moments. The Sun revealed they landed the six figure deal with the designer firm and shot the photos minutes away from the Beckhams' home in West London. They were also up the road from where David was, attending the Chelsea Flower Show with King Charles and Queen Camilla. Ronaldo's sister explains Jota funeral no-show in staunch defence of brother
Cristiano Ronaldo did not to attend Diogo Jota's funeral on Saturday and his sister, Katia Aveiro, has hit back at criticism of her brother's decision on social media Cristiano Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro, has responded to criticism of her brother's decision not to attend Diogo Jota's funeral. Jota and his brother Andre tragically died in a car crash on Thursday and their funerals were held on Saturday. A number of Jota's teammates attended the service in Gondomar, near Porto, but Portugal captain Ronaldo decided not to make the journey as he was wary that his presence could overshadow the funeral. Ronaldo did receive some criticism over his decision and his sister has hit back in a series of posts on Instagram. On her story, Katia wrote: "When my father died. In addition to the pain of loss we had to deal with a flood of cameras and curious onlookers at the cemetery and everywhere we went. "And attention was not what it is today in terms of access... At no time were we (the children) able to leave the chapel; it was only possible at the time of the burial, such was the commotion. "At the funeral, there were presidents, coaches of the national team at the time, such as Luís Filipe Scolari, etc. I don't remember seeing any of them. And they certainly greeted me. The pain blinded me. "About pain/family and real support... You will never know what it means until you go through it. If someone sends me a message criticising anything my brother does, I will block it (completely ignore it), that is, they will only do it once. "It's getting tiring. The fanaticism. The criticism for nothing, I repeat nothing... Sick society... We all have families. "It is absurdly shameful to watch TV channels/commentators/social networks emphasising an absence (wise) rather than respectfully honouring the pain of a mutilated family destroyed by the loss of two brothers. I am even ashamed to watch. Regrettable. "And so the world goes... Society and opinion. Today they are worthless. They themselves have become bottomless pits. I feel sorry... And war is also like that. Believe me. Human evil is also a war. And every day we have to fight against it. And so it goes." Ronaldo did share an emotional tribute to Jota on social media, writing: "It doesn't make sense. We were just together in the national team, and you had just gotten married. To your family, your wife and your children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world. "I know you will always be with them. Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. We will all miss you."
