It's Ted Shackelford!
The handsome actor known for his rugged looks was spotted running errands on Friday in Beverly Hills near Rodeo Drive.
He looked snazzy in a suede light brown blazer over a dark blue-collar shirt that was layered over a gray undershirt.
For pants, he went with a more casual style, opting for dark-washed jeans coupled with gray sneakers.
During his recent outing, the 79-year-old was seen walking with the aid of a stylish black-and-white houndstooth cane, a subtle reminder of the passage of time since his days as a soap opera heartthrob.
Yet even with the years behind him, he still carried that unmistakable charisma, dressed with flair and sporting the classic combed-back hair that made him a standout on screen.

Even though his glory days are behind him, the actor kept his cane classy in a stylish black and white houndstooth print
From 1979 to 1993, Shackelford starred as the front man on Knots Landing, a spinoff of Dallas, as Gary Ewing, who moves to a cul-de-sac in California alongside his wife Valene, played by Joan Van Ark
Shackelford's turn as Gary Ewing proved a breakout success after he stepped into the role in 1979, replacing David Ackroyd as the conflicted middle son of oil tycoon Jock Ewing on Dallas.
His character became so popular that he was granted a spin-off show, Knots Landing, with the premise that he and his newly married wife Valene – played by Joan Van Ark – branched off from Texas to move to a cul-de-sac outside of Los Angeles in a classic soap opera format featuring affairs, murders, financial scandals and kidnappings.
As the charming front man, Shackelford's character marries and divorces his wife Valene twice, having an affair with villainess Abby who he marries and then divorces, falls into alcoholism, gets implicated in a murder and loses his inheritance all before getting back with his first wife.
The show's run between 1979 to 1993 was so successful that the cast came back for a mini-series only four years later.
He also appeared on Dallas in 2013, where he reunited with his first wife, Valene, in his final episode.
During his time on Knots Landing, the actor also tried his hand at made-for-television movies such as Baby of the Bride (1991) and Sweet Temptation (1996) while also guest-starring in shows such as The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Hotel.
His character, Gary, in true soap opera fashion, marries and divorces his wife, Valene, twice, has an affair, relapses into alcoholism, gets implicated in a murder and loses his inheritance all before getting back with his first wife
A main plot point on the show was the sordid love triangle between Gary, on and off wife Valene and the villainous Abby, played by Donna Mills
Despite his exit from the show in the late 90s, Shackelford continued to star in soap operas up until the age of 71.
From 2006 to 2015, he became a regular on the hit daytime drama The Young and the Restless, playing Genoa City's district attorney William Bardwell.
After the character's on-screen death from a stroke, he returned as William's twin brother, Jeffrey.
His most recent appearance on television was on NCIS in 2017 as a guest star.

Anne Hathaway's Hollywood celebrity best friend is revealed... and it's NOT a female

Anne Hathaway has landed another Vogue magazine cover. This time the Oscar-winning actress is discussing playing a pop star in the vein of Taylor Swift in her new movie Mother Mary, which was unchartered territory for the Hollywood veteran. The brunette shared with the fashion bible that she was not good at singing at first, but she pushed herself. 'I had to submit to being a beginner,' shared the 42-year-old New York native. 'The humility of that—showing up every day knowing you're going to suck. And it has to be okay. You're not 'bad.' You're just a beginner. 'Getting to that mindset—I had to shed some things that were hard to shed. It was welcome. But it was hard, the way transformational experiences can be hard.' Also in the interview, it is revealed who her celebrity best friend is, and it's not a woman. What made it extra challenging was that she did not have all the music finalized before she went in front of the camera. 'It was so confusing. I had to learn…. Because if I'd had the music a year before we ever turned a camera on, I would have tattooed every note of it on my soul, and there would have been a whole process, very specific. 'And that was not available to me. In the end. I am very grateful I could not take control.' The star worked with hit-making music producer Jack Antonoff as well as pop icon Charli XCX. 'I finally learned how to breathe,' said Hathaway. 'My body was so locked up—I literally couldn't take a deep breath. 'I'd been trying to open that space for years and I thought it was physically impossible. All my breath, it was stuck.' Hathaway also spent two years trying to learn how to dance for the role. As far as her celebrity best friend, it's Bradley Cooper. They became pals in NYC in 2019. The Oscar-winner talked to Vogue about what makes Anne special. 'You see how she treats everyone—and it's everyone—she's so kind,' said Cooper. 'We started hanging out as parents, having dance parties with children in my kitchen, and I fell in love with both of them.' Them is Anne and her husband Adam Shulman. Bradley said their union is 'an emblem for that kind of commitment,' in that they 'enrich' each other. The actor then tells the writer: 'You've met Anne: She's very present and grounded, I'll put it that way. And kind. She's viciously intelligent.' When not working, Anne is a regular person she insists, as she loves to stay home with her family. She loves 'hanging out' with her kids - she has sons Jonathan, nine, and Jack, five, with her husband. 'I'd been trying to open that space for years and I thought it was physically impossible. All my breath, it was stuck.' Hathaway also spent two years trying to learn how to dance for the role 'Uno games, baking when there's time, teaching the kids to dribble a basketball in the apartment without upsetting the neighbors….' she said. 'I am so, so grateful [her] husband is a great cook and an early riser,' she told writer Maya Singer. Anne looked glamorous in a photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz with help from Fashion Editor: Tabitha Simmons, hair by Orlando Pita and makeup by Gucci Westman. Vogue's August 2025 issue is available on newsstands nationwide on July 15.

Beyonce fans fear singer will RETIRE following Cowboy Carter tour that has been plagued with mishaps

Beyonce fans are once again at loggerheads over speculation she might retire after her Cowboy Carter tour. The 43-year-old singer is in the last few weeks of her current tour, which began on April 28, 2025, in Inglewood, California, and is scheduled to conclude on July 26, 2025, in Paradise, Nevada. The Cowboy Carter Tour, officially titled Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour, is Beyoncé's ongoing concert tour in support of her album Cowboy Carter. There have long been questions over Beyoncé's future following this collection of shows, but the rumor mill has ramped up in recent weeks with loyal fans divided over her game plan. Voicing their concerns on social media, one panicked: 'I really think Beyoncé is about to retire.' Another said: 'I think Beyoncé wants to retire soon… just a hunch.' 'I am so scared that Beyonce is about to retire and that's why she's doing back to back tours. Like I gotta see her live!' a third added. Others, however, have shunned the rumors and have pointed to her previous comments about her passion for making music. They have also highlighted that her album trilogy - which started her 2022 album Renaissance before the release of her 2024 album Cowboy Carter - is not yet complete. 'Beyoncé is in her prime and people thinking she's about to retire is insane,' said one. Another agreed, adding: 'Exactly. I don't think she'll ever retire. I think she'll pop out less and less. Do shorter tours but Beyoncé is forever. Music is her heart. She's gonna continue to evolve with it & do whatever she wants because… she can.' On Reddit, many have quashed Beyoncé retirement rumors too. 'I've been part of the Beyhive for 22 years now, and never really understood why people always think she'll retire near the end of an album rollout, even when she told us (multiple times) that making music is her passion and she'll always be creating art,' another posted. Responding, one added: 'Honestly, 'the obsession' with Beyoncé retiring almost always stems from a place of not wanting her to but rather being nervous about the prospect because she's 1) achieved so much, and 2) thinks she would want to end as a legend and not a washed up has-been. 'I don't think it necessarily has any merit, but I think it's very different from people telling her to hang it up as people have been saying about Mariah due to recent extremely lackluster performances and material. In general, that is, there are always haters.' Last September, Beyoncé stressed how much love she has for singing, hinting that she will never stop. 'Singing is not work for me,' she told GQ. 'I sing for me. I love music and I love to sing. It's a passion that runs deep. 'There's magic in the way it feels on my throat, a resonance that vibrates through me. 'When I am at my lowest, when I've been sad or in a heavy fog, sick or anxious with sleepless nights, I sing. And, often, I sing alone.' But the speculation comes after her tour was plagued with a string of incidents from poor ticket sales, on-stage tech malfunctions to choreography issues. Beyoncé recently concluded her epic six-night concern run in London and her shows in Paris. She closed out the European leg of her Cowboy Carter tour and brought out her husband to perform their hit single Crazy in Love in the French capital as the couple took the stage together for the first time in seven years. Her concert in France was a family affair as she was also joined by their daughter Blue Ivy on stage and had her mom Tina Knowles supporting them. After performing in cities around Europe, Beyonce performed in her hometown of Houston, Texas and experienced a horrifying moment when she suffered a stage mishap with a mid-air prop. At one point during her show on June 29, the red convertible she rides high above the crowd during her performance of 16 Carriages tilted dangerously, threatening to throw the Cowboy Carter artist off the car and into the audience. Still, Beyoncé returned to the main stage and finished the performance like the consummate professional she is. After the show, Beyoncé's team released a statement addressing the incident. 'Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. 'She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident,' Parkwood Entertainment said.

Jenna Johnson responds to 'extremely rude' criticism over bottle-feeding her son Rome after age 2

Dancing with the Stars pro Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy responded to 'extremely rude' criticism over her decision to bottle-feed her son Rome who, at 29 months old. That is 11 months past when most children have typically moved on to cups and solids. Last Friday, the 31-year-old Emmy-nominated choreographer received a DM responding to a snap of her bottle-feeding little Rome: 'Way too old for this fat r****d to have a bottle.' 'Soooo yesterday I posted a pic of me and my son, who I hadn't seen in four days and lots of people felt strongly about him drinking from a bottle,' Jenna Instastoried on Saturday. 'Totally fine when other moms give *positive* advice and I'm always open to feedback to an extent. But this woman ([whose] profile pic is of her holding her own baby) decided to DM me this. What world are we living in?' Johnson understands that she is a public person, but 'sad trolls/bullies' make her want to shut down and go private on social media due to the 'extremely rude and harmful messages toward my baby.' The Cali-born, Utah-raised hoofer said 'enough is enough' and asked the woman directly: 'Would you want me, a total stranger, to DM you this about your child? Because he's drinking from a bottle? Like what on Earth is happening?!' Jenna concluded: 'Please unfollow me immediately and respectfully get a life!' The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) warn parents that prolonged bottle use can lead to tooth decay and affect the development of teeth and facial muscles - similarly to children sucking on pacifiers after age four. On Sunday, Johnson took to Instastory again to thank her loyal fans for their supportive DMs, which made her 'honestly cry.' 'My heart really hurt yesterday at how vile and mean some people can be,' the two-time Mirrorball champ wrote. 'But once again I was shown just how much this little community of mine on here can also show up. You gave me the love, support, and kindness that I believe in! 'Let's remember that we are all humans, navigating life the best we can! I promise to try and only spread positivity and light on my feed and I hope you feel inspired to do the same.' Jenna finished: 'But seriously, thank you for having my back and making me feel seen. So grateful to each of you!' On June 24, Johnson posted a cute, giggly video of her long-haired toddler practicing the pronunciation of his Ukrainian last name, Chmerkovskiy. 'It's definitely a tongue twister buddy!' the Ovation Dance program director admitted. But before the preschooler bliss, Jenna and her 39-year-old husband suffered from 'two years of infertility' during which they had at least one miscarriage in 2021. Jenna and Val famously split in 2016-2017 when Chmerkovskiy had a three-month fling with his big brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy's season 23 dance partner Amber Rose, before eventually rekindling their romance. On April 22, ABC/Disney+ renewed Dancing with the Stars for a 34th season - premiering this fall - which will feature contestants Jen Affleck, Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, and Whitney Leavitt. But it's still unclear whether one or both of the Latin and ballroom-dancing couple will participate. Val (born Valentin) has impressively scored three Len Goodman Mirrorball trophies since joining DWTS in 2011 for the 13th season. Johnson - who boasts 1.5M social media followers - is every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Maybelline New York, SK-II, Evenflo, New Chapter, Happy Baby Organics, and Exuviance.
