Boston Celtics alum Brad Wanamaker to coach high school alma mater Roman Catholic
"We are thrilled to welcome Brad Wanamaker as the new Head Coach of Roman Catholic Basketball," said school president John Prendergast via release. "Brad's pedigree as a professional athlete, his deep connection to Roman, and most importantly, his clear commitment to developing young men on and off the court made this a confident and natural decision."
"We look forward to the leadership and vision Brad will bring as he returns to lead the very program that helped shape him as a student at Broad and Vine," he added.
"I'm truly honored to be named the head basketball coach at Roman Catholic, the school in which I once walked the halls," said Wanamaker on a recent social media post.
"It's a privilege to lead this program, and I'm committed to continuing a culture of hard work, integrity, and unity that's been built by so many great coaches before me. Can't wait to get started, let's go, Roman."

Boston Celtics jersey history No. 28 - Clarence Glover (1971-72)
The Boston Celtics have had players suiting up in a total of 68 different jersey numbers (and have three others not part of any numerical series) since their founding at the dawn of the Basketball Association of America (BAA -- the league that would become today's NBA), worn by well over 500 players in the course of Celtics history. To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Celtics Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. With 25 of those jerseys now retired to honor some of the greatest Celtics to wear those jerseys, there is a lot of history to cover. And for today's article, we will continue with the fifth of 14 people to wear the No. 28, Boston forward alum Clarence Glover. After ending his college career at Western Kentucky, Glover was picked up with the 10th overall selection of the 1971 NBA Draft by the Celtics. The Horse Cave, Kentucky native would play the only season of his NBA career with Boston, leaving the league as a player afterward. During his time suiting up for the Celtics, Glover wore only jersey No. 28 and put up 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. All stats and data courtesy of Basketball Reference.

Boston Celtics big man Neemias Queta has a potential career year in front of him
Boston Celtics big man Neemias Queta has a potential career year in front of him. The backup Boston big man has not exactly had very much runway to spread his wings in the past in all fairness, but that is part of the reason why the Celtics' current frontcourt rotation has him poised to take off in terms of playing time after a series of major moves cut the roster especially hard among the big men. With only Queta, Xavier Tillman Sr., Luka Garza, and Amari Williams as true bigs on the roster this season barring a late addition this summer, Queta will have all the runway he needs and then some after the departure of Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet, and Al Horford (presumably) via trade and free agency. The hosts of the CLNS Media "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below! Former Boston Celtics big man Guerschon Yabusele on why he signed with the New York Knicks
Former Boston Celtics big man Guerschon Yabusele has carved out a role for himself in the NBA since coming back over from Europe to join the Philadelphia 76ers last season. He has since gone on to become one of the NBA's more desired role players in free agency this summer, eventually settling on signing with the New York Knicks. Drafted by the Celtics in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft at No. 16 overall, the Dancing Bear (as he is sometimes called for a nickname) had to wait a season playing abroad with the Shanghai Sharks in the CBA before he joined Boston for his first crack at sticking in the NBA, but was clearly not quite ready for the speed and physicality of the game in the states. But Yabu (another, more obvious nickname) has since found his footing at the NBA level, and looks poised to spread his wings in the Big Apple next season. He recently took some time to talk it over with the hosts of the "Roommates Show," who happen to be his Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. Check it out below!
